Chapter 2437: Chapter 2437: Night of Bloody ughter

Julius Reed remained silent, beginning to carefully contemte everything that had happened at that time.
Many things sounded reasonable.
Others couldn’t be exined more logically, and the bear spirit exnation seemed to be the optimal answer.
Jesse River continued exining divination.
In their era, divination was actually akin to modern-day mathematics.
However, the strength of Martial Artists far surpassed that of the current human brain andputers.
Diviners were powerful mental telekics; they could use Spiritual Power to calcte every possible scenario for an event.
As for how Jesse River could know about things happening miles away, it was through the use of Spiritual Power to achieve effects simr to Thousand Mile Vision or the Eye of God.
The soul could travel freely.
What the soul witnessed during its journey, upon returning to the original body, allowed one to know what a particr person was currently doing.
After all, the soul is light and can easily go anywhere.
However, this required very high demands on mental telekics; in Jesse River’s time, only a handful of people could aplish this.
More often, they could only calcte certain events.
As for foreseeing what might happen next, Jesse River mentioned he hadn’t focused too much on it, but surely diviners had their methods.
It was a secret of the divination world.
Outsiders certainly wouldn’t know.
If they did, wouldn’t the diviners be robbed of their livelihood?
Such absolute secrets always exist at any time.
Julius Reed recounted Jesse River’s matters in detail, including almost every detail he could think of.
The exnation Jesse River provided was that a serendipitous opportunity allowed the fusion of a Golden Bear Spirit with a diviner.
When a mental telekic is strong enough, they can separate their bear spirit from their body, allowing them to leave the Golden Bear’s body.
But there’s a time limit.
The person still needs to return to the Golden Bear’s body within a certain time frame to begin the fusion again.
The Golden Bear is a very unique species, inherently possessing Divine Power as well as spirituality.
And humans possess wisdom; when this wisdom merges with the Golden Bear’s abundant Spiritual Power, it could be considered the pinnacle of diviners!
In the past, some attempted it, but they failed.
The result of failure was the sudden death of the diviner.
Jesse River once said he had taken in many failed mental telekics, and these individuals had such strong obsessions that even he, being so formidable, would still encounter trouble.
After the conversation, Julius Reed decided to call Jesse River.
But at this time, the day was nearly done.
He nced at his watch; it was already three o’clock in the afternoon.
At Boulevard Mountain, it would almost be dark by around three-thirty.
And outside, it seemed not many people had shown up.
"Are we going to start the hunt?" Jesse River’s eyes glinted with excitement like a wolf spotting its prey!
He had always taken pleasure in killing.
Now that he had left the minds of the Lu family, and finally got aparatively decent body, his mind was set on a killing spree.
To vent his thousands of years of frustration.
"Since you left, will the Lu family’s power be weakened?"
Julius Reed suddenly thought of this problem and began chatting with Jesse River.
There was still half an hour until sunset.
No rush.
"Their power is still theirs; there will be no change," Jesse River smiled and said, "I am a Heart Demon. Without me, they at the very least wouldn’t die, but they wouldn’t advance further either."
"Then the Yellow Lotus Shadow, the lotus where you resided, does it no longer have any effect?"
Julius Reed had witnessed the ughter brought by the Yellow Lotus Shadow and suspected it might be Silvio Reed’s conspiracy.
He did not intervene and simply wanted to watch the situation unfold.
Now the truly formidable ones in the lotus were right in front of him, and it seemed the Yellow Lotus Shadow no longer had any significance.
Julius Reed’s biggest doubt now was why Faust Beaumont was able to gain power.
Could it be that the lotus contained other mysteries?
"I never stayed in the body of the Lu family ancestor and never returned to the lotus. Are you suggesting that there are further mysteries inside?"
Jesse River was a bit surprised, "I left some ssics in there, and they learned from its contents. Before I came out, it indeed only contained my soul.
"Are you sure you’re not mistaken?" Jesse River found it improbable.
"After the Yellow Lotus Shadow was stolen, I saw someone inside mastering very formidable abilities. But at the same time, there was a shadow of death over them. Could it be that your ssics are harmful?"
Julius Reed still recalled the scene when Faust Beaumont made his move, that move was certainly exquisite and unparalleled.
"If that’s the case, I’m just not sure."
Jesse River’s expression turned grim as if he were beginning to ponder the matter himself.
"It’s strange, when I was in the Lu family’s body, I would often feel drowsy and take a nap from time to time. But now, I don’t feel tired at all?"
He shook his head, starting to realize that something might be amiss.
"The Lu family has a white lotus, which emits a force to counteract the Heart Demon. I think the reason you felt drowsy is most likely due to that white lotus."
Julius Reed continuously prompted, wanting to know the answer.
And what is inside the white lotus?
"I remember, that white lotus!" Jesse River clenched his fist, nodding, "I thought that white lotus was something worshiped by the Lu family. Unexpectedly, it was used against me."
Bam!
He suddenly pped the table and stood up, ready to leave.
"What are you doing!"
Julius Reed barked.
"I am a mental telekic. For something to weaken me so significantly, it must be something very terrifying. I must return to the Lu family to investigate!"
Jesse River was getting increasingly rmed.
Could someone have defeated him in his own domain?
"No rush, the Lu family’s white lotus is quite safe. Stay here first, once I handle matters, I will go with you."
Julius Reed spoke in an upromising tone.
"Alright!"
Jesse River still conceded.
He knew the person in front of him was not one to be easily persuaded.
"Since someone dared to plot against me, Jesse River, this matter is not over. The Lu family’s days are numbered."
Jesse River clenched his fist, gritting his teeth.
"Then let your fury be unleashed." Julius Reed stood, sensing the light fading and the darkness gradually approaching.
"A night of bloodshed."
He uttered four words.
"Indiscriminate?" Jesse River confirmed.
"Indiscriminate." Julius Reed lightly chuckled, "I never go easy on enemies."
"I like your style," Jesse River said and instantly vanished from sight.
And Julius Reed, with his right hand on the sword at his waist, likewise departed.
The Caldwell Family sent just over a dozen people.
The rest were either observing or responded they woulde the next day.
At the foot of Boulevard Mountain.
In a brightly lit, ancient mansion.
Dn Martiny on the bed, surrounded by Martial Artists and doctors.
"Young Master Martin no longer has any sign of life."
A Martial Artist shook his head, slightly regretful, "Elder Mr. Martin, my condolences."
"What’s going on! Why is my son dead!"
An elderly man in luxurious clothes roared in anger, "Why!"
