Chapter 2434: Chapter 2434: Bear Spirit

"Isn’t this Julius Reed, my dear brother?" Whitaker Dog walked over, grasping the Nine Nether True Lord’s hand, excitedly saying, "I’ve been looking all over for you, didn’t expect you’d be lying in a coffin. This Shadow Kims, really tricked me!"
"Scram." The Nine Nether True Lord said lightly, shaking his wrist, and Whitaker Dog was sent flying over ten meters away, nding on the snow.
Fortunately, he had thick skin and was a formidable martial artist, otherwise he would have been shaken to death.
But even without the Nine Nether True Lord exerting himself, Whitaker Dog still felt like his whole body was falling apart.
"He’s one of us, go easy on him." Julius Reed said helplessly.
Whitaker Dog was too enthusiastic.
He had the smell of a corpse all over him and didn’t like taking baths or washing his hands.
He was filthy.
"Got it." The Nine Nether True Lord jumped out of the coffin, bent down to grab a handful of snow, and rubbed it.
His face was full of disgust and disdain.
After washing his hands, he sniffed them, making sure no corpse smell lingered from Whitaker Dog, only then did he close his eyes and channel his power.
Steam rose from his hands, and he miraculously evaporated the snow water into thin air.
His hands were clean and spotless.
"Wow, what a master! Is this really the Julius Reed that Master Dog calls the number one in the world?"
"Indeed! No wonder we’ve been safe and sound all along, turns out Julius Reed was with us!"
The members of the Funeral Alliance were amazed at the Nine Nether True Lord’s disy and felt admiration in their hearts.
No matter how impressive others said he was, they had always scoffed until they witnessed it firsthand to understand the true impact.
A strong person is indeed strong, even washing handses with such style.
"I don’t like too much contact with people, so keep your distance." The Nine Nether True Lord didn’t refute Julius Reed’s words but still reminded the members of the Funeral Alliance.
He truly was a True Lord!
One of the most powerful people in the Nine Provinces back then, even though he’s fallen from grace now, the pride of a master wouldn’t allow him to mingle with these rough people.
"Your skill isn’t as great as mine, but your temper is." Julius Reed chuckled lightly, not minding at all.
Masters all have their peculiarities.
Their inherent strength is their capital.
It’s precisely because their strength is superior that they have the privilege to choose the life they want.
"Hasn’t everyone been hungry? Come with me, I’ll take you to eat." Julius Reed took out a satellite phone, walked aside, and chatted with Merrill Caldwell for a bit.
The Caldwell Family is absolutely safe now.
The Dragon Dance is injured, so they must proceed cautiously next.
Most of the members of the Lu family were caught in the battle with the Dragon family, only a few managed to escape.
Any battle on the Boulevard won’t happen for at least three days.
All three of the Dragon family’s top masters were injured, making it impossible for them to continue their siege on the Caldwell family.
At least for the next few days, there will be a brief peace on the Boulevard.
It wasn’t long before a few SUVs roared over, driving them through the endless snowfield and stopping in front of the Caldwell Family.
Merrill Caldwell personally led the people, waiting there.
Unlike before, this time many familiar faces appeared.
They were martial artists from the Boulevard, who had already secretly liaised with the Dragon family before Julius Reed defeated the Dragon family and were considering defecting.
But after that battle, they changed their minds and firmly stood by the Caldwell family.
They gambled, believing the Caldwell family would win.
So, taking sides early would earn them more benefits.
Though not numerous, pared to the previous scenario where only a few stood by the Caldwell family, it was a significant increase.
"Arrange the food and drinks." Julius Reed grabbed Merrill Caldwell’s hand and walked inside quickly.
Whitaker Dog was momentarily stunned.
Isn’t this Julius Reed’s woman? Why didn’t Julius Reed react at all?
Wow!
What a brother, even lending his wife?
Whitaker Dog sneaked a nce and saw Julius Reed calmly sizing up the mansion, even nodding in approval?
But food was important, so he led his brothers inside to start the feast.
In the rear courtyard, small side room.
Merrill Caldwell held Julius Reed’s hand, slightly embarrassed, asking, "What happened just now? Howe there was a person who looked exactly like you?"
"That’s the Nine Nether True Lord, an extremely powerful ancient martial artist. The body just looks like mine, as it was originally a doppelg?nger created by Shadow Kims for me, which I let him use."
Julius Reed exined it to her.
Merrill Caldwell was different from others; she and Julius Reed were essentially one life.
So, she could clearly distinguish who the real Julius Reed was.
"Alright, you rest." Julius Reed patted Merrill Caldwell’s head and left the room.
He had to keep an eye on this group, or who knew what trouble they might cause.
The front yard of the Caldwell family was lively and bustling; everyone was famished and nearly devoured the tables.
Whitaker Dog was waving a dog leg, making a noisy ruckus.
And the Nine Nether True Lord picked up chopsticks, sitting by himself at a table, eating noodles very gentlemanly.
"Still have an appetite?" Julius Reed sat by the Nine Nether True Lord, asking with a smile.
Whitaker Dog and the others were used to this blind man being able to perceive things; in the martial artist world, nothing was impossible, so they weren’t too surprised.
"Haven’t eaten for thousands of years, I thought I was beyond the need for mortal food. But honestly, with the years passing, the martial arts of your era have deteriorated, not even as good as the women of our time."
"But the food and drinks are much better than in our time."
The Nine Nether True Lord picked up a napkin, wiping his mouth.
Casually tossed it in the trash.
"Don’t be surprised, I stayed in the bodies of those Lu family people for thousands of years, so I understand your ways of life."
He spoke while maintaining his aloof demeanor.
"Speaking of which, this body isn’t bad, but look at this face, it’s like he was born to be a sycophant, probably a good-for-nothing." The Nine Nether True Lord didn’t know that the body’s original was just beside him.
"How was the shrine you lived in built?" Julius Reed didn’t mind the Nine Nether True Lord’s critique; being a sycophant requires skill, not everyone can do it.
"I heard that the lotus seed was found in the ruins. That’s why it was called the shrine."
Julius Reed didn’t say he was Silvio Reed, nor did he deny being him; with such vague statements, he left room for future interpretations.
"I’ve mentioned, our martial artists back then were incredibly powerful, but for the construction, we raised Gold Bears to do the building. Gold Bears, strong beyond measure, although it seems some perished in the disaster."
The Nine Nether True Lord picked up a teacup, rinsing his mouth.
Quite particr.
"Gold Bears? Even back then there were Gold Bears?"
Julius Reed thought of Jesse River as soon as Gold Bears were mentioned.
"Of course, otherwise how could such grand structures be built by humans alone? I was the king of the souls of the Nine Provinces, of noble status." Speaking of his past, the Nine Nether True Lord was very proud.
"Can Gold Bears merge with humans?" Julius Reed couldn’t help but ask.
"How could that be possible, Gold Bears only have one possibility, that is, they themselves have bear spirits, and these bear spirits can leave their body. Once the bear spirit leaves, the Gold Bear will seem dead."
"But when the bear spirit returns, the Gold Beares back to life."
The Nine Nether True Lord curiously asked, "Why are you asking this?"
