Chapter 2381: Man and Dog

Chapter 2381: Chapter 2381: Man and Dog

Fifty miles outside the Drunken Man Pavilion.

There is a dpidated thatched hut.

Jayceon Rose dashed toward this ce, clutching his phone like his life depended on it.

He was on edge, terrified of being taken down by the golden cicada he once chased.

Also afraid that Windy Johnson might follow to silence him.

He wasn’t a fool; he knew very well that Windy Johnson wouldn’t spare him easily. To survive, he had to cling desperately to Julius Reed’s leg.

But unfortunately, Julius Reed was still restrained.

At a time like this, Jayceon Rose had no other choice but to follow Julius Reed’s instructions, with the phone in hand, and run to the thatched hut.

But this thatched hut was truly too worn out.

Just a wooden frame, with the surrounding thatch blown away by the wind, not to mention blocking wind and rain, if you squatted inside to take a dump, people could see your butt from the outside.

Jayceon Rose almost thought he was seeing things.

He took out his phone and checked carefully; there was no mistake.

The coordinates and the surrounding terrain were exactly the same.

Dense woods surrounded them, with only this solitary thatched hut.

"Can this work? Big brother, don’t cheat me!" Jayceon Rose hesitated for a moment.

A castle would be fine, providing shelter for refuge.

But now, this broken thatched hut offered no defense, not even enough to hide a person.

    Exposed to the elements,pletely bare.

Staying here is no different from waiting for death, merely wasting precious time.

    But if I run?

Can I outpace those martial masters?

Either way, it’s death, might as well die here.

At the very least, Jayceon Rose still trusted Julius Reed a lot.

    No other options left.

Once a person epts their fate, they be at peace.

Jayceon Rose sat cross-legged in the thatched hut and suddenly felt thirsty.

He stood up to look for a water source, only to find nothing around.

    Just leaves.

    Bear it for a while.

All he had was the phone, didn’t say how long to wait.

But now, Jayceon Rose couldn’t reach anyone, could only sit there and wait.

    Time ticked away slowly.

Ten minutester, Jayceon Rose felt he was about to fall asleep.

    Sprinting fifty miles!

    Both thirsty and tired!

Though he’s just human, his speed was fast enough.

The price was a bit of exhaustion, ack of stamina.

"Thirsty? Here." At that moment, a hand holding a canteen appeared before Jayceon Rose.

Jayceon Rose felt like a little match girl, maybe it was an illusion.

He groggily lifted his head and sprang up when he saw the person standing in front of him!

This person grinned, with a sword at his waist, definitely no good person!

"Who are you!" Jayceon Rose quickly drew his sword, but he found it was gone.

    Gone!

"Looking for this?" The person raised the sword and tossed it to the ground.

    "You..."

Jayceon Rose was shocked; he hadn’t slept, just rested a bit, yet the other could silently take his sword!

This meant the other had the chance to kill him but didn’t, instead chose to toy with him.

Yet, Jayceon Rose harbored a sliver of hope.

What if it was an ally?

"Brother, don’t mess around." He bent down to retrieve his sword.

Immediately, a cold sword touched his neck.

The chill cut to the bone!

Causing Jayceon Rose to shiver, cold sweat flowing.

"Interesting, you actually fooled our Lady Windy. Kid, you’re unlucky, today you die." The man kicked him to the ground, still grinning.

With his other hand, he began unbuttoning his clothes.

"What are you doing!" Jayceon Rose tensed up, sensing danger.

"Haha, you’re dead anyway, can’t I indulge a little?" The man leered, speaking as he had already removed his shirt, revealing strong muscles.

"Damn it! I’m a man!" At this moment, Jayceon Rose didn’t find death so scary anymore.

    He wished for death.

    But the sword was taken.

He realized why the guy stealthily took his weapon.

"You’re a pervert!" Jayceon Rose wanted to say there was a misunderstanding.

"Haha, truth is, this young master prefers this kind of y. Though I don’t fancy rough guys like you, I have no choice, been restricted too much recently, gotta let off steam with you."

The man thrust the sword into the ground and strode over.

"If you cooperate, I’ll make it quick!"

He said, reaching out a hand.

"I’d rather die!" Jayceon Rose turned, fiercely aiming his head at the wall!

But midway, his shoulder was grabbed.

    "I said hurry up!"

    Apanion’s voice came from outside.

"There are aplices!" Jayceon Rose felt utterly hopeless, thinking he could seize the chance to kill this one and escape.

But the other’s words dashed his hopes.

"Haha! Don’t worry, I’ll have my fun for a bit." The man wearing a sinister grin, unfastening his pants.

    Suddenly!

    A cold gleam shed!

"Hiss!" The man gasped, and before he could speak, a longsword swung by, decapitating him.

    Jayceon Rose was stunned.

    What just happened?

    Themotion here rmed those outside.

    "Jovany Leopold?"

    The leader appeared slightly surprised.

"Zero, we meet again." Jovany Leopold stood in front of Jayceon Rose, sword in one hand, with a pleasant demeanor.

"You knew?" Windy Johnson frowned slightly.

"Grand Steward Johnson, you two know each other?" Several swordsmen surged into the hut, surrounding Jovany Leopold.

"Old acquaintances. But I’m surprised why he appeared here." Windy Johnson crossed her arms, awaiting an answer.

"I have several dozen men, all experts."

    He spoke confidently.

"Julius Reed is quite the strategist; he foresaw something was amiss and sent me ahead. Unexpectedly, I met an old acquaintance while protecting an unfamiliar stranger." Jovany Leopold spoke calmly.

"No kidding! Big brother, you have to protect me! I know the guy surnamed Reed, he sent me here!" Jayceon Rose clung to Jovany Leopold’s leg as a lifeline.

"But, are you alone?" Jayceon Rose felt disappointed.

The disparity is too great, right?

"You think I can’t beat them?" Jovany Leopold kicked Jayceon Rose away.

"No, I believe in your strength, but I’m a Martial Artist too, and there are so many Great Grandmasters on the other side. Even if you’re powerful, against their leader, that’s an even match, but what about the rest?"

Jayceon Rose valued Jovany Leopold’s strength greatly!

One sword strike took down that martial master.

    But the opponents were many.

Martial artists understand that numbers hold an advantage.

"The other side is all Great Grandmasters..." He felt utterly desperate.

Close to ten Great Grandmasters, enough to wipe out his Rose family.

"Since you’re a martial artist, you should understand one principle." Jovany Leopold dusted off the pants Jayceon Rose had grabbed, gracefully raised his sword, and smiled faintly, "Among Great Grandmasters, the difference between me and them isrger than between you and a dog."
