Chapter 2283: Holding the Pass Alone

Chapter 2283: Chapter 2283: Holding the Pass Alone

"Cooper Yarrow, do you still recognize yourself now?"

Trent Marsh lowered his head, not looking at Cooper Yarrow.

"Thirty-six steeds, that’s already the standard of Hades." He said, as if talking to himself, or perhaps to Cooper Yarrow.

"In the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance, you were only sixteen horses, a candidate. I don’t know if Ilia Danvers transformed you, or if your heart was already restless."

"You want to be human, which means you might learn all the weaknesses of humanity: power, desire!"

"I’m very disappointed. Today, I’m going to kill you."

Trent Marsh quickly drew his sword and shed forward!

The air seemed to be sliced open!

The sword Qi grew faster and stronger!

So much so that the sword Qi sputtered out ten meters, reaching ten meters in height and two to three meters in width!

    This sword was very slow.

    But very powerful.

Trent Marsh wasn’t afraid of Cooper Yarrow dodging, this sword was only a deration of war.

It meant that the next strike would truly be aimed at taking Cooper Yarrow’s life.

    Boom!

    A muffled sound.

Hundreds of undead pushed a massive war chariot, blocking Cooper Yarrow’s path.

One by one, the steel shields were incredibly sturdy.

    At least ten meters thick!

    Boom!

    A muffled sound.

    The sword Qi dissipated.

Leaving four to five meters deep grooves on the massive steel shield.

    Boom!

Cooper Yarrow waved his hand, and all the steel shields were removed.

"Very good, very good," Trent Marsh said with a gratified smile, "Keeping up with the times! The undead corps under me have indeed not disappointed me. But today, I, Trent Marsh, want to find out whether the organization I founded can actually be destroyed by my own hands!"

Saying this, he raised his longsword, inching step by step towards Cooper Yarrow.

"Kill!" Cooper Yarrowmanded, his longsword once again slicing down.

Thousands of undead, wielding sharp weapons, swiftly charged at Trent Marsh!

The crowd of undead was like a tide, swallowing Trent Marsh.

Like a giant wave crashing onto an ant!

So many people, they could bury Trent Marsh in corpses alone.

"Sometimes, numbers are useless." Trent Marsh closed his eyes, holding his sword in his right hand, and spun fiercely!

    Whoosh!

Sword Qi erupted around his body!

Like a violent wind, sweeping outward!

The first undead it touched burst into a mist of blood.

Those at the back were also affected one after another.

While the sword Qi rampaged, it gradually weakened.

In the end, the undead were only sliced apart; although they died just the same, at least their corpses were still visible.

In stark contrast to the undead that had exploded into a mist of blood before.

    "Kill again!"

Cooper Yarrow stood atop the war chariot, lifting his longsword to strike again.

This time, the undead wielding long spears continued charging at Trent Marsh alongside the survivors from before.

    Humans eventually tire.

Trent Marsh is human, not a machine, and will tire as well.

Now, Cooper Yarrow wanted to use a swarm tactic to gradually wear out Trent Marsh until he could no longer fight.

Trent Marsh obviously noticed his n; after all, this was Mont, their stronghold.

Trent Marsh hadn’t expected Mont to have so many undead.

    They even formed an army.

This Cooper Yarrow, was once a candidate within the Undead Pce.

At least before Trent Marsh left, he was still a candidate.

The divine n drove them out, but some escaped.

Cooper Yarrow was among those who escaped.

    Escape in itself signifies betrayal.

For this to ur with war machines is uneptable.

They did not ept death calmly, which was problematic.

Escape indicated an even graver issue.

That’s why back then, Trent Marsh wanted to exterminate them.

But he hadn’t expected Cooper Yarrow to escape and remain in Mont.

And his position had elevated from a candidate to a king.

A significant leappared to being in the Undead Pce.

Above kings, there was Trent Marsh and Silvio Reed.

"This is a bit tricky," Trent Marsh smiled, starting to sprint forward!

"Capture the king first to capture the enemy! At least kill Cooper Yarrow, then the remaining ones will lose theirmand, and theirbat ability will dwindle significantly.

Then, it would be easy to deal with a disorganized group.

    Shhh!

Trent Marsh unleashed a sword Qi to clear the way!

ying anyone in the path of the sword Qi!

He ran faster and faster, leaving more and more dead in his path!

Trent Marsh, at nearly impossible speed, carved a two-meter-wide path through the advancing ranks of the undead!

The path was strewn with bloody remnants.

The undead behind turned to block him, but it was toote.

One man, one sword, carving a bloody path through thousands of foes.

In Trent Marsh’s eyes, there was only Cooper Yarrow!

    He was somewhat exhausted.

High-intensitybat was beginning to tire him.

"Defend." Cooper Yarrow observed Trent Marsh inching closer, sheathing his longsword.

The chariot moved before him once again.

Thick steel tes solidly protected Cooper Yarrow.

In the blink of an eye!

Trent Marsh swept aside the undead before him, arriving at the chariot!

He leapt, his body bursting with incredible strength!

    Boom!

The war chariot crumbled under the impact!

The longsword embedded deeply in the steel tes!

    Even deforming the steel tes!

But the armor was too thick after all.

When it copsed, the undead had already surrounded it.

"King, you’re not as strong as you used to be," Cooper Yarrow spoke coldly.

"Haha! Are you mocking me?" Trent Marsh had injuries, not yet fully healed.

Moreover, there were far too many undead, posing a significant hindrance to him.

Prior to this, he believed Mont wasn’t that strong.

Now it seemed, he had underestimated them.

    But who was he?

    He was Trent Marsh!

    War God!

"Cooper Yarrow, I will kill you, and it will be today!" Trent Marsh pointed at himself, at his feet, at the sky.

His eyes started to turn blood red.

A powerful force surged through Trent Marsh’s body.

From several hundred meters away, Julius Reed suddenly felt the blood in his veins boiling!

It was the blood of the gods!

    Julius Reed was somewhat shocked.

Trent Marsh actually had the blood of the gods?

    There was a strange resonance.

Though nothing was visible, and they were so far apart.

Julius Reed just knew, it was the blood of the gods.

    His heart started pounding wildly.

The heart of the gods seemed to be stimted as well.

    "Die!"

In the middle of the road, with blood-red eyes, Trent Marsh jumped again!

His body erupted in bursts of blood mist!

All the undead who attempted to approach Trent Marsh were blown away by this blood mist!

Trent Marsh seemed to walk in an uninhabited territory, charging towards Cooper Yarrow!

"King." Cooper Yarrow sheathed his longsword, slightly bowing.

"Vanish." Trent Marsh was nearly berserk!

All the undead before him were in!

When Trent Marsh raised his sword, ready to behead Cooper Yarrow.

    Cooper Yarrow bent down!

    A dragon’s roar resounded!

    Boom!

In the sky, a dragon flew past!

Crashing directly onto Trent Marsh’s chest!

Unprepared, Trent Marsh was sent flying hundreds of meters, rolling onto the ground.

He stood up, raising his longsword, gazing at the dragon circling before him.

    A white dragon.

Only three meters long, clearly a young dragon.

"A dragon! Even a dragon has appeared," Trent Marsh murmured, "Undead, dragon, you’ve alle! Then I, Trent Marsh, should return too."

Trent Marsh closed his eyes, his whole body slowly ascending.
