Chapter 2263: Chapter 2263: Dragon

"If what you said is true, why didn’t you ancient martial artists resist?"
Julius Reed and Jovany Leopold stood in the middle of the road, discussing past events.
"Ancient martial artists are strong, but the dominance of the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance back then was terrifying," Jovany Leopold sighed and shook his head, "I didn’t experience it, but many who did choose to avoid mentioning that era."
"Do you know? They created two extremely terrifying organizations, the Nether Hall and the Divine Realm."
"Their war machine was incessant, and we gradually weakened with each death. We resisted for hundreds of years, and finally negotiated with Silvio Reed to preserve the me of martial arts."
"Trent Marsh wanted to annihte us, but Silvio Reed made a promise in front of martial artists worldwide and members of the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance. He promised not to kill us and to provide afortable environment."
"That was the greatestpromise. We even once thought we would fight to thest person. Silvio Reed was a good man."
When mentioning Silvio Reed, even though Jovany Leopold hadn’t lived through that era, he spoke with respect.
"He was truly someone who wanted to unify the martial arts world. Unfortunately, he was kidnapped by the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance. Those vicious fellows carved up territory for their own pleasures and butchered the martial artists!"
As he spoke, Jovany Leopold looked up, staring ahead.
"Is that him?"
A corpse floated in the air, slowly approaching them.
"Indeed!" Julius Reed sprinted out like the wind, arriving in front of the corpse in an instant!
He sped the chest of the Imperial Master with one hand and pressed down hard!
Bang!
The corpse crashed heavily onto the ground!
Creating a deep pit!
Julius Reed pressed down with his entire body, his knee firmly against the corpse of the Imperial Master.
But a powerful forcepelled him to retreat!
Teng!
Julius Reed leaped up, watching as the Imperial Master floated upward again.
Even if he had strength, he could only suppress around a thousand pounds.
The levitating force from the corpse far exceeded this.
Julius Reed jumped again, gripped his longsword with both hands, and thrust downward!
ng!
The tip struck the body, but didn’t prate at all!
Yet the immense force still mmed the Imperial Master’s corpse down!
Once again into the ground.
"What is going on?" Julius Reed suddenly recalled Pruitt Wilde’s words.
Dragon scales?
Does the Imperial Master have dragon scales?
Combining this with the surveince footage, wouldn’t it be that unless he moved the wound aside, nothing could kill the Imperial Master?
A man whose bones were previously shattered, with a limp body, now seemed indestructible?
Even a sword couldn’t pierce him.
"Using such a heavy coffin, was it to prevent himself from floating away?"
Julius Reed watched the Imperial Master’s corpse floating once more, rather than attacking immediately, he began to ponder.
The coffin lid was in ce, even after Shadow Kims inspected it, a problem was uncovered.
The lid of the coffin could be reced.
The sturdiness of thetch was not as imagined.
The truly solidtch was never locked.
If thattch were secured, even a beggar couldn’t break it.
Because the sturdiness of thetch was akin to the coffin itself.
"It seems the Imperial Master wanted to fake death to escape from the beggar’s pursuit, and then used the coffin to confine his body in ce within the coffin."
Julius Reed had his answer.
"Now that the Imperial Master is dead, this thing is out of control. The beggar has confirmed his death."
"Brother, I think I saw..." Jovany Leopold leaned in, whispering, "Saw dragon wings?"
"Dragon wings?" Julius Reed was surprised by the term.
"Yes!" Jovany Leopold nodded, "The Central ins has always had dragons. I heard old folks chat about creating the Nether Beast back then, there were only eleven! Because within it, the golden dragon was a true dragon!"
"Dragons, ancient fierce beasts! Extremely domineering, cruel. Humans suffered at their hands. But as martial arts rose, gifted individuals began the path of resistance."
"Do you know, Silvio Reed and Trent Marsh were dragon yers back then! They killed dragons and enved them. Hence, the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance was formed."
"Humans sought to rebuild order, a world without dragons, where people could freely gaze at the sky from the ground."
"However, as martial artists increased, differing opinions led to rebellion within the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance!"
"After the rebellion, Trent Marsh wanted executions, but Silvio Reed stood out, opposing it with his reputation, preserving those lives under surveince by Trent Marsh’s men."
"But human ambition grew. Silvio Reed wanted to create a blueprint for peaceful development. But with limited resources, the absence of dragon threats, humans multiplied."
"Then, those ambitious, dragon yers like Trent Marsh began plotting!"
"The martial arts world waspletely reshuffled!"
"Once in a cave, I saw dragon images. That little thing, resembling dragon wings," Jovany Leopold exined, "The ce we were trapped in was a refuge for martial artists."
"The walls were full of dragon images, including their weaknesses and habits."
He frowned slightly, "I’m not sure if it is a real dragon. After all, most dragons died back then, and those alive were processed, only listening to the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance."
"That’s Trent Marsh’s n to prevent dragons from bing scourges again. Dragons can’t reproduce but can live forever. Dragon eggs remain with the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance. If a dragon dies in battle, they release a new, trained one."
"Let me try."
Jovany Leopold took a breath, raised his sword, and slowly approached.
"Are you confident?" Julius Reed’s heart was somewhat shaken.
He didn’t have memories of that era, so he didn’t know what happened back then.
He thought ending the temple marked a new era.
Before that, it wasn’t important.
But now, many past events affected the present.
"I’ve read what’s written on the wall, no big issues," Jovany Leopold’s steps flew, arriving before the Imperial Master’s corpse.
He followed the corpse, his fingers on the sword, slowly closing his eyes.
His fingers slid over the sword, making strange sounds.
"This is..." Julius Reed suddenly realized this guy is extraordinary! "Is he mimicking dragon calls?"
Though he hadn’t heard dragon calls, he learned dragon chants!
Very familiar with the sound of dragon chants.
Now the sound from Jovany Leopold’s fingers resembles dragon chants!
Quickly!
The corpse ceased its movement.
A pitch-ck head emerged from the Imperial Master’s wound!
