Chapter 2206: Chapter 2206: Arrivals One After Another

"How long will you stay here?" Merrill Caldwell sniffed, tilting her head up, trying not to let the tears fall.
Ever since Julius Reed rescued herst time, that inexplicable emotion began to grow.
It was a special kind of feeling, not love, not friendship.
Indescribable, hard to exin.
"Not sure yet, after all, who can say for the future?" Julius Reed reached out, touching Merrill Caldwell’s head, with a look of relief in his eyes. "Last time I saw you, you were just a little girl who knew nothing. Now, you can take down a bunch of so-called masters."
"That’s good, at least I don’t have to worry about you being bullied."
"Go back, don’t cause too muchmotion." Julius Reed walked towards the direction of the Gills Alliance with his hands behind his back.
"I’ll wait for you... at the Boulevard," Merrill Caldwell said softly, and by the end, her voice was almost inaudible.
"Wait for you..." She lowered her head, her eyes showing disappointment.
...
"What’s going on? A romantic encounter?"
As soon as Julius Reed sat down in the chair, Shadow Kims curiously asked.
Very nosy.
He wasn’t like this before.
A science and engineering guy.
Awkwardly humorous.
"Miss Caldwell from the Caldwell Family, she wasn’t like this before." Although Shadow Kims didn’t have much interaction with the Boulevard, it was highly renowned, second only to Demarco Mount.
"People change. Look at you, you’ve started gossiping." Julius Reed drank a ss of wine, lowering his voice: "Someone’sing."
No sooner had he spoken, a group of people entered from outside the door.
These people exuded a murderous aura, all wearing bamboo hats.
Each had a longsword at their waist.
The longsword was stained deep red, and a faint smell of blood could be sensed.
When they appeared, the martial artists of the Gills Alliance noticed something was amiss.
Many people quietly watched, wanting to see what would happen next.
Could it be, another fight here?
After all, these were not friendly visitors...
A dozen martial artists stood at the door, walking up to a Mr. Guilt.
"Where’s your boss?"
The leader stepped forward, head covered by a bamboo hat, draped in a ck cloak, very mysterious.
"Julius Reed, upstairs needs wine!"
At that moment, a shout came from the second floor.
The questioning man suddenly raised his head, swiftly flying up!
In less than a second, he returned to the original spot, holding a trembling young woman in his hand.
"Tell me, where’s Julius Reed?" The man’s voice was hoarse, extremely domineering.
The woman he grabbed turned pale, panic reflected in her eyes.
Confused, not knowing what to do.
"Answer me, where’s Julius Reed?" The man tightened his grip, and the woman couldn’t breathe, her feet kicking the ground.
"I... I’m Julius Reed..." Mr. Guilt was so scared he wet his pants.
Just moments ago, he had witnessed the fighting at the door.
Hundreds of lives, gone just like that.
Though the trade was lucrative, it was dangerous.
One wrong move, and a martial artist with a temper could kill you.
Looking at the ferocious guys in front of him, Mr. Guilt’s legs were cramping.
"What’s going on?"
Just as the man was about to act, Elwood Thorneycroft’s voice came from upstairs.
"A guest has arrived, weren’t they properly entertained?" She quickly stepped in front of the man, smiling: "Could you let go of my people first?"
"Who are you?" The man’s voice was cold, like a machine.
"I’m the boss of the Gills Alliance, I call the shots. If you have any business, just let me know." Elwood Thorneycroft stepped within ten centimeters of the man, making him step back instead.
"Where’s Julius Reed?" The man asked.
"Julius Reed? It’s him, isn’t it?" Elwood Thorneycroft pointed in surprise at Mr. Guilt in front of her, "That’s our alias, why, is there a problem?"
"Mr. Guilt?" The man turned around, looking at Mr. Guilt he held: "You’re Julius Reed?"
"Yes... I haven’t offended you, sir," Mr. Guilt stammered.
"You’re not lying to me?" The man looked at Elwood Thorneycroft again.
"We all have aliases, you seem to be new here. Do you know, our four head courtesans are called Eliezer Pine, Isabe Warm, Lillian Tompson, and Grace River respectively?" Elwood Thorneycroft smiled without a hint of tension.
"Really sick!" The man released the woman and Mr. Guilt, pulling a wad of money from his cloak, throwing it to Elwood Thorneycroft: "Give me the best girl, quickly."
"Alright then. Julius Reed, take the guest to the third floor." Elwood Thorneycroft nodded, calling to the girl at the door: "Quick, attend to the guest."
"We’re not into that sort of thing." The man refused.
After they went upstairs, Shadow Kims whispered, "Not friendly visitors, who do you think they belong to?"
"Can’t guess, don’t want to." Julius Reed didn’t care.
Hearing someone that sensitive to his name, they must be enemies.
At first, he thought they were Hidden Gate’s reinforcements.
But clearly, they weren’t.
And each one was formidable, definitely not ordinary grandmasters.
"Just wait, there’ll probably be news soon." Julius Reed leaned back in the chair, stretching his body.
The third floor.
Spring Flower Autumn Moon private room.
No girls inside, only these men in ck.
The table was filled with good wine.
"Boss, can we find our third brother here?" One of them spoke up: "Third brother disappeared in Gonzalez City, and we chased to Dusty tform without any news. The Gills Alliance is ourst stop."
"If it weren’t for Wu Da’s betrayal, third brother wouldn’t have been captured. We must eventually tear that traitor to pieces!"
The leader lifted his cup, downing a bowl of wine: "Our lives were given by third brother. Today, no matter what, we must rescue him!"
"I investigated before, there’s a basement under this restaurant. And not long ago, there was a disturbance in the basement."
The men in ck shared their guesses.
"This is a map of the basement structure, I did a quick check, this ce used to be the Temple of Return to Heaven." The leader took out a disy screen from his cloak.
They carried some equipment, capable of easily detecting the terrain, and they had infrared devices, able to detect if anyone was present.
"If the information from above isn’t wrong, third brother is very likely trapped here. Brothers, we’ll fight to the death, we must rescue him!" The leader’s voice was deep.
"Rescue third brother!"
Everyone raised their sses, downing them in one gulp.
Just as they moved upstairs, someone entered through the door.
The neer wore a brocade robe, long hair flowing, also having a blood-stained sword at his waist.
"Sir, you..."
"Scram."
The man said coldly, starting to look around.
"Sutton." Julius Reed turned his head slightly, ncing. "Isn’t he Trent Marsh’s henchman? Could those people be Trent Marsh’s men?"
"Sutton betrayed Trent Marsh, leading to his capture." Shadow Kims also nced, "His appearance definitely isn’t to save Trent Marsh."
"Something’s wrong." Julius Reed turned his back to Sutton, closing his eyes. "He’s not Sutton, I can sense it, something’s very off."
