Chapter 2192: Chapter 2192: Master Michael

"Mr. Michael..."
Seeing the arrival, several maids serving tea and water hurriedly shouted, "Mr. Michael, save us!"
Seeing the old man, these people clung to him like a lifeline.
Their eyes were filled with uncontroble excitement.
"Hmm?" The elderly man named Michael turned his head, observing the messy room and sniffing.
The room was filled with a foul stench.
His face darkened, and he looked sharply at the women on the floor: "What happened here!"
Knox Michael was in charge of overseeing the Gills Alliance experts.
He was also the Hidden Gate’s appointed supervisor for Thunderpeak Hall.
At least on the surface, he was the one calling the shots here.
As for the hidden expert behind the scenes, he had never met him.
He could only sense the powerful aura within the room whenever he passed by each day.
"These people... they killed them..." said the girl responsible for pouring water, pointing her trembling finger at Julius Reed and the others, unable to control her shaking.
"How dare you cause trouble at the Gills Alliance!" Arge number of people behind Knox Michael started to gather; they were the enforcers responsible for maintaining order.
In such a big restaurant and brothel, with thousands of martial artistsing and going daily, conflicts were inevitable.
However, on the first day of opening, seventeen troublemaking martial artists were hanged on the railings in front of the doorway, and no one dared to cause trouble since.
As long as there was no trouble, everyone had a good time, far superior to anything in the Mortal World, whether in terms of service or otherwise.
Some even marveled, "This ce should only exist in heaven."
But now, ignorant fools had dared to kill their signature courtesan!
Knox Michael was furious!
"You, go inform Mrs. Leopold, have here here as well." He waved his hand, and his followers dashed off.
Mrs. Leopold controlled the Gills Alliance and was also an expert in the Hidden Gate’s intelligence department.
How today’s matter would be handled depended on Mrs. Leopold’s opinion.
Knox Michael was merely an executor.
He acted ording to orders.
"And... there’s another one in the room." The young girl serving tea pointed inside: "Eliezer Pine... is inside."
"Another one?" Knox Michael stepped forward, unleashing his aura!
Normally, when he released his aura, martial artists would feel fear and oppression, bing confused and disoriented.
Those blocking his way would retreat.
But today, this move didn’t seem to work.
Shadow Kims stood in front of him, grinning, unleashing an even stronger aura!
Whoosh!
Knox Michael stepped back, eyes wide with surprise.
He actually...
...was forced back?
"You dare such audacity, who are you! State your name! I am Knox Michael, chief security officer of the Gills Alliance!" Knox Michael did not disclose his Hidden Gate identity.
This identity was rather sensitive.
It could not be revealed unless absolutely necessary.
"Me? I’m a mercenary. Why? If anyonees here who’s not a mercenary, what proper person could they be?" Shadow Kims wore a red robe, a hood, and a mask painted by Gabriel Abernathy on his face.
Even without the mask, Shadow Kims’ appearance was equally elusive.
It was hard to make out his face.
"You... move aside! If you keep blocking my way, don’t me me for being rude!" Knox Michael was a bit angry.
He’d lost face in front of his subordinates.
"Enough already, quit the nonsense. If you can fight, fight. If you can’t, get lost," Julius Reed said impatiently from the side.
He hade here to meet the so-called mastermind behind all this.
To figure out the purpose of that eerie painting that brought him here.
That painting was strange. Although it seemed to intend harm most of the time, sometimes it provided useful information.
"How brazen!" Knox Michael pondered for a moment. The old mercenary in front of him might be quite formidable, so he’d better first injure the young one to demonstrate his power!
As he raised his hand, a surge of energy burst forth, heading straight for Julius Reed!
Julius Reed, sitting in a chair, mmed the table with his left hand!
The table flew up!
Boom!
The energy wave hit the table and bounced back!
Knox Michael leaped, the wave passing under his groin before exploding at the doorway!
Bam!
Several subordinates who failed to dodge were blown away!
Instantly killed on the spot.
Bam!
The table spun a few times andnded on the ground.
Wine sses and pots, having flown up, settled back down smoothly.
Not even a drop of wine spilled from the cups.
"Frankly, too weak," Julius Reed said, lifting a wine pot and pouring it into his mouth.
"The wine is good, the girls are good, even the mercenaries here are good. But you, Mr. Dog, you’re not a good dog!" Julius Reed moved the pot away and poured it into a cup.
"What audacity you have, insulting me! I’ve killed countless people in my life, Knox Michael, and I won’t stand for this insult today!"
Knox Michael swung his hands violently!
Boom!
A vibrating sound echoed in the air!
"Master Michael!"
Those at the door started moring.
"Well said, I toast to you," Julius Reed said, turning slightly towards Knox Michael, not even sparing him a nce, and threw the wine from his cup aggressively!
The spilled wine morphed into a sharp sword!
It quickly solidified in the air, stabbing straight at Knox Michael!
"A petty trick, and you dare unt it before me?" Knox Michael sneered, reaching forward with his right hand!
"Hiss..."
His body trembled, the wine dropping to the ground, and he failed to drink a single drop.
However, Knox Michael’s palm was bleeding profusely...
He trembled as he withdrew his hand, looking at Hawthorne: "Picking on the young as if I rely on age to bully. Fine, I’ll deal with this neither old nor young fellow first, and then I’ll settle with you young and old ones!"
He couldn’t handle Shadow Kims; that old one was too fierce.
The aura alone had Knox Michaelpletely overwhelmed.
As for the young man drinking, his depth was unfathomable!
To transform wine into a sword and injure him directly.
Definitely no ordinary person!
For now, the only soft target seemed to be the guy in front of him.
"Hawthorne, someone’s treating you as a pushover. If you embarrass yourself, you’d better head right out to the restroom!" Julius Reed leaned back in his chair, beckoning to the girls: "Massage."
"Yes..." The girls, not blind, had witnessed this group’s prowess.
To survive, they had to act wisely.
The girls scrambled to oblige, fearing falling behind and losing the chance to others.
After all, in this room, there were more enemies than allies.
Enemies were close, allies far.
The only one, Master Michael, seemed to be of little help now.
"Sir, is the massage to your liking?"
"Sir, isn’t my technique skilled?"
"Sir, let me push for you..."
Julius Reed closed his eyes, enjoying it.
Meanwhile, Knox Michael was almost bursting with rage!
He looked at Hawthorne, determined to crush this pushover!
"Boy, I’m about to unleash my wrath!"
He stomped his foot fiercely, drawing a longsword from his waist, swiftly shing at Hawthorne!
"You’re old and toothless. Sorry, no offense meant! It’s just inevitable, please forgive me!" Hawthorne shook his head, swiftly darting forward!
