Chapter 2045: Chapter 2045: Surrounded

"The White Tiger and Green Snake have emerged, and we didn’t even know."
The Prophet was surprised, unable to even worry about his own frail body.
"No signs at all, not even the gods knew." Osher Reed looked at the golden dog in front of him and stood to open the elevator.
This was the same elevator Darin and Pranay Martinez once took down.
The Prophet stood up, nearly copsing.
Fortunately, Osher Reed reacted quickly, helping him up.
"Prophet, can you manage? If not, I can go down once." He was very concerned about the Prophet’s condition.
Osher Reed was an outlier.
He was neither a god nor an ordinary human.
He was something in between.
To put it nicely, half-human half-god; to put it bluntly, neither here nor there.
He couldmunicate with the temple to some extent, yet still relied on the Prophet.
"It’s alright." The Prophet extended his hand, resting it on Osher Reed’s shoulder, and stepped into the elevator. "I must find out what’s going on! Once the god beasts appear, the day of the temple’s return to ruling the mortal world is not far off."
The elevator descended rapidly.
Reaching the bottom.
When the door opened, a chilling aura wafted over.
The Prophet’s face was pale, drenched with sweat.
The faint underground light illuminated his weary face.
The Prophet could no longer walk on his own.
Osher Reed carried him on his back, quickly heading inside.
For the infernal scene before them, they were already ustomed.
They didn’t care.
After passing through theyers of purgatory, they finally arrived inside a temple.
This was the only temple that had always been buried underground.
It was also one of the three grand temples of the past.
Ordinary temples were like exits, but here, it was a temple in the truest sense.
The temple’syout was the same as the others.
But the space was entirely different!
Here, over ten meters high, upying nearly a thousand square meters!
Three enormous golden statues sat in the center.
Above them, there were twelve empty spots.
Those spots were dusty, clearly vacant for quite some time.
"Gods, please give me an answer."
The Prophet knelt on the ground, crawled to the statues, and extended his hand.
After quite a while.
The Prophet withdrew his hand, his body trembling.
"Prophet, what’s wrong?" Osher Reed immediately went over and helped him up.
The Prophet was the temple’sst hope.
"The gods told me..." The Prophet turned back, trembling as he spoke: "The Bull King’s servant has already left."
"I think I remember." Osher Reed pondered for a moment and nodded: "Back in Gonzalez City, someone walked out of the temple. Butter, I was busy fighting with Julius Reed that I forgot about it. He... is the Bull King’s servant?"
"But do you know..." The Prophet was somewhat lost. "The Bull King’s servant disappeared. The gods told me there are only three possibilities for his disappearance. Either he was obliterated by the gods, or destroyed by a god beast. As for the third possibility..."
"What?" Osher Reed finally grasped the seriousness of the situation.
"The Bull King servant might have sacrificed himself to unseal the Bull King." The Prophet finished speaking, unable to hold on any longer, and copsed to the ground.
"The Bull King has appeared? If so, the day of our temple’s revival is drawing near." Osher Reed’s eyes shed with fervor!
The god beasts were invincible!
As a part of the temple, he knew the might of the god beasts well.
"But why did the White Tiger and Green Snake kill the god servant?" The Prophet asked back. "You and I are both god servants. In the eyes of the god beasts, there is no difference between us and the Guilt Emperor and others. If the god beasts meet, will they kill us?"
With this question, Osher Reed’s face instantly darkened.
His previous excitement vanished without a trace.
"Then what should we do?" Osher Reed stood up, roaring in anger, "Do we have to stay in hiding forever? I’ve had enough!"
"Find the god beasts, uncover the truth! Determine if Pranay Martinez is truly a god servant!" The Prophet finished, feeling darkness overtake him, and passed out.
...
On the Dusty tform.
Pranay Martinez and Julius Reed didn’t know where the Prophet was.
But ording to their spection, the Prophet was very likely on the Dusty tform.
After passing through a forest, the two reached the top of the Dusty tform.
There was an estate.
The estate looked extremely eerie in the night.
Many martial artists hesitated, afraid to go further in.
There were thrill-seekers who ventured inside, but as soon as they entered, they were killed by the monks.
Even a Great Grandmaster had no chance of resisting.
Over time, as the news spread, martial artists considered the mountain top forbidden ground.
Too scared to venture.
"Follow me, I know the way." Pranay Martinez suddenly puffed up, pointing at Julius Reed: "With a god beast on you, those guys can’t do anything to you. We’ll break in directly and capture the Prophet!"
Saying this, a hint of resentment was still in his tone. "If I knew you were this strong, why did I even bother?"
Julius Reed didn’t respond to him but silently drew the Break Sky Knife.
He could feel that the estate was very dangerous.
With a single hand, knife in hand, Julius Reed and Pranay Martinez headed toward the estate’s gate.
"Approach, and die!"
Suddenly, a voice came.
Julius Reed and Pranay Martinez didn’t pause for a moment, kicked the door open, and walked inside.
Bam!
The door closed behind them.
In front of them stood over a hundred monks.
These beings had no bodies, nearly invincible, impossible to kill by normal means.
With strongbat skills, any ordinary person encountering them would face certain death.
"Wow, that’s a lot of them." Even though Pranay Martinez was strong, he couldn’t help but sweat at the sight of this.
"Can we take them? Or should wey low for a while?" He turned slightly, whispering to Julius Reed.
Breaking the door again probably wouldn’t be too hard.
Right now, they had fallen into a wolf’s den, extremely dangerous.
Moreover, Pranay Martinez worried that Julius Reed might secretly betray him.
After all, it wasn’t the first time he did something like this.
"I’ve always wanted to test if these clones on me can affect them." Julius Reed unbuttoned his shirt, revealing the pattern on his chest.
But the monks had no reaction, continuing forward.
Soon they were surrounded.
No retreat.
"Is this thing fake?" Pranay Martinez and Julius Reed stood back to back, whispering.
Logically, these servants should fear the god beast.
But there was no reaction at all?
"Back on the Dusty tform, I had once broken their formation." Julius Reed closed his eyes, gently raised the Break Sky Knife, and flicked his fingers on it!
Buzz!
A shockwave rippled out!
If it was like before, it would shatter the unseen lines, rendering these monkspletely ineffective.
But it was different this time.
After the shockwave expanded, there was no reaction at all!
"How could this be?"
Julius Reed sensed his surroundings, finding the lines he sawst time didn’t exist!
"Could it be that they need to leave the estate to be controlled by strings? Inside this estate, they can move on their own?"
Dong!
A bell rang.
In the center of the estate, a monk wielded a wooden mallet, striking the golden bell.
Unexpectedly, the sky instantly brightened.
