Capítulo 2031: Chapter 2031: City Pressing Down
The Prophet isn’t dead!
Hiddy almost stood up, ready to question aloud.
But she knew very well that she must not expose herself now!
Not dead?
Father is not dead…
Over five thousand years, Hiddy dreamt of her father countless times, mourning and ming herself endlessly.
Though she hadn’t witnessed her father’s death with her own eyes, countless others had witnessed that moment.
Five thousand yearster, could someone be telling her that the Prophet is still alive?
Julius Reed walked to her side, gently cing a hand on Hiddy’s shoulder.
He could understand such a feeling.
If the Prophet truly wasn’t dead, it would be a massive bombshell for the martial arts world!
It would overturn many things from the past five thousand years.
Seeing the shocked faces of those before him, the Guilt Emperor’s face brimmed with even more pride. “Well, didn’t see thating, did you? You all think the temple is finished, the era of the gods is over. But gods are gods after all! How could you bumbling idiots possibly see through gods?”
“Guilt Emperor, are you insane?” The Mentor’s face turned slightly pale, speaking in a deep voice, “We all witnessed the Prophet’s death back then.”
“Indeed, not a bone was left.” Pranay Martinez interjected, supporting the statement. “Completely impossible to survive.”
“The power of gods is infinite. Remember the first time you entered the temple. Back then, would you have believed that someone could live eternally? That someone could use the power of heaven and earth tomand the wind and rain?” The Guilt Emperor’s formation spun faster and faster in his hands, and the surroundings grew increasingly darker.
“The Prophet is the spokesperson for the gods; how could he die so easily!”
After these words, everyone fell into silence.
Indeed, it was so, and there was no way to refute it.
The gods had given them everything; now they had no reason to doubt the gods.
If eternal life could be achieved, what else couldn’t be?
“Where is the Prophet?” Pranay Martinez asked.
If the Prophet wasn’t dead, these people would be in big trouble.
The Guilt Emperor was right; they were now traitors, having betrayed the temple.
The reason for this was nothing more than the temple’s downfall, and after being suppressed by Julius Reed, it was almost set to vanish.
Yet they, being immortal and extraordinarily capable, had no need to go down with the temple.
It was wise to make the most beneficial decision based on their own abilities.
But if the Prophet wasn’t dead, things would be entirely different.
The Prophet was the spokesperson for the temple, and many schemes and strategies originated from his hands.
Considering the current phenomena appearing in the world rted to the temple, along with the Prophet’s capabilities, the temple was very likely to reappear in the world!
The world might very well return to how it was back then.
Once the temple’s seal was broken, Pranay Martinez and others would undoubtedly face a reckoning!
“The Prophet… is truly not dead?”
Even Pruitt Wilde began to worry.
The Guilt Emperorughed more joyously, “Want to know where the Prophet is? Very simple, today I’ll take you to him!”
As he finished speaking, Hiddy almost stood up.
Luckily, Julius Reed held her down.
The truth of the matter was hard to discern.
At the very least, no one had yet seen the Prophet alive with their own eyes.
“Nonsense!”
The Mentor dashed out, swinging his sword down in a decisive strike!
He acted swiftly, and before a blink of the eye, the sword de was already suspended over the Guilt Emperor’s head!
But in the next moment,
The Guilt Emperor vanished into thin air.
Darin raised his right hand, astonishingly gripping that Longsword!
“Within my formation, trying to kill me is a challenge.” The Guilt Emperor reappeared behind the Mentor, with a sinister smile.
He struck fiercely!
Aimed straight for the Mentor’s back!
“Humph! You lowly scoundrel, aim to harm me!” The Mentor twisted midair, kicking directly at Darin’s wrist!
Seizing the opportunity to withdraw the Longsword, he countered with a swift thrust!
Puff!
The Guilt Emperor’s wrist spurted a mist of blood, retreating repeatedly!
“You old thing, why have you be stronger?”
Surprise filled his eyes.
The Mentor had been imprisoned for thousands of years and should have been done for!
How could he still have such explosive power!
Fortunately, the Guilt Emperor’s injuries weren’t severe since he evaded most of the force, sustaining only a superficial wound.
In his own formation, it was difficult for anyone to harm him.
The Guilt Emperor could use the formation to appear anywhere at any time.
“Mentor, don’t act rashly yet.” Pranay Martinez’s eyes were icy as he advised, “Since he ims the Prophet isn’t dead, we should meet the Prophet.”
The life or death of the Prophet was a very significant variable.
If the Prophet were alive, it would drastically impact this world!
“Is it your decision to meet when you wish?” The Guilt Emperor nced at the wound on his wrist, snorting softly, “Originally it was only Darin who wanted to kill the Mentor, but now I want to kill you too! Five thousand years ago, you were deceived by your disciple, suppressed for five thousand years, yet still alive! Now I want to see if you can withstand this ordeal!”
Lately, after being severely injured by the Holy Lord, he hadn’t even recovered enough before being beaten by the Mentor again.
Both part of the Seventh Emperors, he felt quite aggrieved.
“The Mentor must die.” Darin’s entire body was severely decayed, with no semnce of human form left.
“Today, acting on the Prophet’s orders, I came here. If you are willing to surrender, everyone except the Mentor can be spared.” He tucked his left hand behind his back, pointing at the group before him with his right hand: “There is only one chance. Do you see the people behind me? These are the Prophet’s guards; with them, it’s enough to wipe you all out.”
“Of course, that woman must be handed over to the Prophet. That is your condition for survival, understand?” The Guilt Emperor smiled menacingly.
“So it was you who leaked to Bradwell Abernathy, calling him to cause us trouble?” Pranay Martinez pointed at the Guilt Emperor with disdain on his face. “Truly base behavior!”
“Knowing the times makes a man clever!” The Guilt Emperor was not pleased.
He wanted to kill Pranay Martinez, but wouldn’t be permitted.
By virtue of his own skill, it was out of the question.
Only in the future might he await a chance.
“Then let me show you the power of Skilid City!” Pranay Martinez, after recovering his own body, had be exceptionally strong!
Far surpassing others!
He spread his hands wide, and a shadow appeared in the air!
Since everyone was in the Guilt Emperor’s formation, they could hardly see outside through the thick mist.
But as the shadow appeared, it seemed to devour that mist!
“Skilid City can’t be provoked by just any wind-and-water diviner like you!” Pranay Martinez bore pride, even more aloof after rebirth!
As soon as the words fell!
The mist was slowly absorbed away!
In the sky, one could vaguely glimpse something!
“Skilid City?” Darin raised his head, in a hoarse voice.
A city was suspended above them, unknown as to when!
Skilid City was like a massive vortex, continuously drawing up the Guilt Emperor’s formation!
Soon after.
The mist dispersed, and the formation in the Guilt Emperor’s palm disintegrated.
“You…” The Guilt Emperor looked at Pranay Martinez, in disbelief!
When had he be so strong?
Completely impossible!
“Guilt Emperor.” Pranay Martinez smiled faintly, imbued with national fortune and the abilities left by Osher Reed.
With hisplete evolution, Pranay Martinez had reached a higher understanding andmand.
“Do you feel it?” His hands pressed downward continuously, as the shadow in the sky grewrger. “The clown, it turns out, is you.”
“Don’t rejoice too soon!” The Guilt Emperor’s face was pale, his injuries from Julius Reed more severe now.
“City Lord of Skilid, truly formidable.” Looking up at the descending ck City, Darin gestured with a hand. “Intercept.”
The monks behind him all gazed upwards!
