Chapter 1940: Chapter 1940: Invitation

"Another envelope?"
The authenticity of the previous letter hasn’t been determined yet, but Julius Reed estimates that if he really followed what the letter said, he might already be dead.
However, he remembers that Hiddy couldn’t possibly want to hurt him.
Where is the problem?
"Since you know Hiddy wouldn’t harm me, why didn’t youe out sooner? Aron, in my impression, you’re not someone who fears death." Julius Reed carefully looks at Aron Jackson, contemting.
Everything around him seems to have an unspeakable strangeness.
There’s nothing wrong with Hiddy, nothing wrong with the letter, could the problem be with himself?
Julius Reed can basically determine that the letter certainly came from his own hand.
The content on it is a mix of truth and falsehood.
But the most crucial thing is just one line.
Slept with four maids.
Julius Reed asks himself; he wouldn’t do something to take advantage of those women.
So he definitely suspects something.
The w is too obvious!
Large enough that if he gave Eliezer Pine a call, he could easily confirm it.
But people always change, what if Eliezer Pine lied...
"Big brother, this Hiddy seems a bit strange to me, she definitely has no intention to harm you. When she found me initially, it was solely to investigate Que Radcliffe." Aron Jackson sadly touched the thirty or so hairs left on his head and said, "I originally considered ending it all, but then thought, why not stay close to her and see what she really wants to do."
"Did you find out anything?" Julius Reed pulled out a chair, putting Aron Jackson in the closest position to himself, and personally poured him a cup of tea.
"Wow! Big brother, you pour tea for me; I can’t take such an honor." Aron Jackson thought for a moment, organizing his words. "At first, I was in Gonzalez City, always investigating Que Radcliffe and Gonzalez City as you instructed. But not long ago, a woman directly barged in, and even the experts you ced in Gonzalez City’s Seven Clouds couldn’t stop her."
"Without a word, this woman directly drove a sword into my office desk."
Recalling this event, Aron Jackson still has a chill of fear.
"At that moment, I thought, it’s over. If I’m dead now, how will I serve you in the future, big brother?" Saying this, heughed and picked up the teacup, taking a sip.
Indeed, he was a bit thirsty.
Probably due to shouting too loudly.
It really did hurt; his throat was hoarse from shouting.
"As a result, this woman asked me one question directly. She asked whether I wanted to live. I couldn’t say I wanted to die, so I replied, yes, I want to live."
"She pulled out the sword, grabbed my neck, took me out, and directly asked about Que Radcliffe."
"Initially, I didn’t agree, preferring death. But the woman said she was friends with you and wouldn’t hurt you. I thought I should survive first and report to you, so I said some irrelevant things. Later, I found out her name is Hiddy, your old me."
"Old me is not quite right, but why did she ask about Que Radcliffe?" Julius Reed guessed much about it but didn’t expect Hiddy to be interested in Que Radcliffe.
"I said some unimportant things, like how Devlin had arranged things in Gonzalez City in the past, and Granny Xihua used Thunderpeak Hall to establish a family in Gonzalez City, with Que Radcliffe as the only normal person in the entire family. However, I’ve never been able to find out Que Radcliffe’s background." Aron Jackson exined, "Hiddy listened and didn’t further question Que Radcliffe’s background, as if uninterested. I suspect she wanted to know whether Que Radcliffe had harmful thoughts towards you; if not, she wouldn’t care."
"Keep an eye on that mountain in Gonzalez City for me. Given your exposure with Hiddy, you’d better hurry back. To eliminate the Undead Tribepletely, I need to go to the mountain, open the true Divine Dragon Tripod, and thoroughly eradicate these undead people." Julius Reed held his teacup, his eyes sharp.
He’s searching for a solution that doesn’t rely on Que Radcliffe.
There certainly is an alternative!
Que Radcliffe must not die.
"Is she okay?" Julius Reed softened when talking about Que Radcliffe.
"With Itai Huntington in Gonzalez City, they are thriving. Before your death, no one in the Martial arts world dared trouble them, and ordinary people avoided them even more. What they do is neither offend nor befriend them to avoid retaliation should something unexpected happen to you." Aron Jackson took out several photos, all taken when Que Radcliffe and Itai Huntington were together at various events.
They looked naturally happy.
"Big brother, most of those on Dusty tform are against you, take care!"
Aron Jackson raised his teacup, "I toast you with tea instead of wine, wishing you peace throughout your life."
"Peace throughout life..." Julius Reed smiled helplessly, "The hardest thing is peace throughout life. In the Martial arts world, a small mistake leads to eternal disaster. You should leave early, so you’re not discovered."
"Farewell!"
Aron Jackson drank his cup of tea and jumped out of the window.
After he left, Julius Reed stared at Que Radcliffe in the photos in a daze.
Suddenly.
He realized something wasn’t right!
Behind every photo, there is a familiar face.
By the attire, it looks like a bodyguard, but Julius Reed always feels he’s seen them somewhere.
He picked up his phone, intending to call Itai Huntington but thought there might be danger and hung up.
Since those two were at their side for such a long time without taking action, it indicates Que Radcliffe and Itai Huntington are temporarily safe.
He needed to resolve these matters quickly and return to Gonzalez City.
Julius Reed tore open the envelope.
Hiddy is still someone worth trusting.
"If you see this letter, it means you’re not dead, then we can have a chat. Room Seven of Heaven, both sides are mine, you cane in at ease."
"Finally willing to meet?" Julius Reed crumpled the letter into a ball and slowly burned it in his palm.
He had no hesitations, and directly walked out the door.
If Hiddy dared to do this, it means she must have cleaned up outsidepletely.
There are absolutely no lookouts around.
Wolf Residence is uniquely constructed.
Heavenly rooms resemble standalone small vis.
Each has its own small courtyard.
Julius Reed arrived at Room Seven, didn’t knock, but went straight inside.
All along, Hiddy has been reluctant to meet him.
But today, something seems unusual.
The door is pushed open.
Inside the courtyard, a woman sits.
The woman is ying the piano, back facing him.
"Hiddy?" Julius Reed stepped forward and directly approached the woman.
The piano music lost control!
The woman turned back in panic, and upon seeing Julius Reed, a trace of surprise shed in both of their eyes.
"It’s you?"
Both eximed.
"What are you doing here?" Julius Reed looked at Elwood Thorneycroft in surprise.
Could this girl be Hiddy?
Impossible!
Hiddy would never stoop to disguising as weak, yet Elwood Thorneycroft clearly is inept.
"I’ve always followed the master." Elwood Thorneycroft pointed to the room.
A room with lights on.
