Chapter 1737: Chapter 1737: Painting
In the living room.
Only Baylor Davenport remained, utterly confused.
When she arrived, she was perplexed for no reason.
When she left, she was even more bewildered.
She initially thought that perhaps there would be some danger in this room.
After all, Julius Reed had previously mentioned that practicing such a forbidden book could easily harm your body.
But she never expected that Brant Fairbanks just took her pulse and then let her go.
“I’m back.”
Pushing open her room door, Baylor Davenport looked behind her to see no one and whispered to Julius Reed.
“Hmm.” Julius Reed sat by the table, holding paper and pen, trying to sketch the outline of the person from his dreams.
“Aren’t you surprised?” Baylor Davenport leaned in, lowering her voice, “Guess what Brant Fairbanks did to me?”
Yet Julius Reed didn’t even nce at her, fully immersed in his drawing.
Although he couldn’t clearly see the dream figure’s face.
He could clearly remember their stature and attire from the recurring dreams.
“What’s so surprising?” Julius Reed sketched a tiger-skin shirt while talking, “I’m guessing Brant Fairbanks just checked your pulse and let you go.”
“How did you know!” Baylor Davenport widened her eyes, asking warily, “Did you follow me? Or did you nt a bug on me?”
“What are you thinking!” Julius Reed paused in his work, looking at Baylor Davenport as if she were a fool, “Do I need to surveil you for something like this? Do you know why Brant Fairbanks was surprised?”
After saying this, he continued his painting.
In terms of painting skill alone, Julius Reed could im supremacy worldwide.
Talented people excel at whatever they do.
The pictures he drew looked as realistic as photographs taken by a camera!
“Tell me!” Baylor Davenport’s curiosity was piqued.
She had been pondering it since she’d returned, trying to figure it out but to no avail.
It made no sense at all!
“First, give me a massage, pound my back.” Julius Reed pointed to his shoulder, saying casually, “Make mefortable, and I’ll naturally tell you.”
At times like this, he greatly missed his few handmaidens.
Nothing else to say!
In terms of service, those four truly served himfortably.
Royal indulgence should be like this!
“Alright!” Perhaps because she had spent so much time with Julius Reed, or perhaps because she was eager to know the answer, Baylor Davenport not only did not resist but actually put effort into massaging and pounding his back.
“Let me ask you, how many suns are there in the sky? And how many moons?” Julius Reed, based on his memory, had basically drawn the figure from his dream, and even started sketching facial features based on spection.
“Naturally, there’s only one sun and one moon in the sky. This ismon knowledge; everyone knows that.” Baylor Davenport frowned slightly, seemingly pondering Julius Reed’s question, yet she couldn’t understand how it rted to Brant Fairbanks’s sudden surprise.
“What if there were two suns in the sky?” Julius Reed chatted idly with Baylor Davenport while continuing to draw.
“There can’t be two suns. What are you talking about…” Baylor Davenport stopped mid-sentence, seemingly realizing something.
“You mean, inside me…” She wasn’t foolish and clearly remembered what Julius Reed had said before.
Brant Fairbanks was creating a simple world inside her.
Heaven and earth, sun and moon.
Everything wasplete!
So does that mean there are two suns inside her?
Baylor Davenport was stunned.
Her hands involuntarily stopped.
“Continue, don’t stop.” Julius Reed nced at his work, seeming dissatisfied.
With that, he picked up the pen to refine his sketch further.
“What exactly does it mean!” Baylor Davenport was getting anxious.
One sun was already overwhelming for her, wouldn’t two suns be the end of her?
She couldn’t stay calm in the face of death.
No one wants to die.
Baylor Davenport was no exception.
“The yin and yang within you were ced there by me.” Julius Reed said casually, “That day, Brant Fairbanks set theyout inside my body too, but after I returned, I expelled it and transferred it into you while you were asleep.”
“You harmed me?” Baylor Davenport withdrew her hands in surprise, “Why did you do this?”
She couldn’t ept it!
After spending so much time together, Julius Reed was the person she trusted the most.
Everyone at Ocean Academy was an enemy in Baylor Davenport’s eyes.
Now, the person she trusted most had betrayed her.
Baylor Davenport was on the verge of tears.
“How do you feel now? Has the hot and cold sensation disappeared?” Julius Reed paid no mind to Baylor Davenport’s emotional changes, pletely engrossed in his painting.
When he focused, all the artists in the world would lose their jobs.
In other words, if he wished, he could redefine the art world.
“I…” Baylor Davenport, initially lost in anger and disappointment, suddenly realized upon Julius Reed’s questioning.
She indeed no longer felt the hot and cold sensation.
But…
What is happening?
“Heaven and earth, sun and moon, are nothing more than yin and yang! The moon is yin, the sun is yang.” Julius Reed picked up an eraser to remove some unsatisfactory parts, fully focused on his drawing.
“When you feel heat, it’s the sun, meaning the small ball inside you is causing trouble. When you feel cold, it’s the Spiritual Power circting in the moon. I set two suns and two moons inside you. When the original sun appears, theter added moon apanies it. Yin and yang counteract each other, canceling out the difort within you.”
“So, you no longer have the hot and cold symptoms. And seeing this, Brant Fairbanks would naturally be shocked.”
p!
Julius Reed ced his pen on the table, examining the drawing on the white paper in front of him.
Aside from the face, which was based on his own conjecture, the rest was nearly lifelike.
“So you’re saying…” Upon hearing this, Baylor Davenport’s eyes brightened with a mix of joy and lingering worry about disappointment.
“In the short term, you won’t die. If I’m not mistaken, Brant Fairbanks is sure to take inspiration and attempt experiments on the other academy disciples.” Julius Reed picked up the white paper, assessing his work.
“Aren’t you… aiding and abetting?” Baylor Davenport was puzzled.
“Don’t worry, he won’t seed.” Julius Reed said nonchntly, “Nine times out of ten, Ocean Academy will lose a batch of people, fallen at Brant Fairbanks’s hand.”
Not to mention how low the sess rate of this method is, just the fusion of heaven and earth, sun and moon into a human body is a daunting challenge!
“I suddenly feel you’re amazing.” Baylor Davenport’s mood instantly improved.
After rxing, she noticed what Julius Reed had drawn.
“Oh, you’ve seen this too. Look at your drawing, it’s all wrong. Open your eyes, watch me!” Seeing the drawing, Baylor Davenport picked up a pencil from the desk, erased the face with an eraser, and began sketching herself.
In less than half a minute, apletely different face was drawn.
Julius Reed looked at the drawing on the paper.
His gaze toward Baylor Davenport was full of peculiarity.
“You… what’s wrong…” Baylor Davenport remembered that look.
Ten minutes ago, Brant Fairbanks had the same expression…
