Chapter 1657: Chapter 1657: Scared the Dog Out of Its Wits

Whitaker Dog isn’t arrogant; he’s confident.
The gap between arrogance and confidence is vast!
Arrogant people usually overestimate their abilities.
But Whitaker Dog is very aware of his own skills.
The Funeral Alliance is wealthy, and with wealthes influence.
They have gathered a group of top-notch Martial Artists from all over the world, forming a funeral procession.
The people in the funeral procession, without exception, are all top experts.
Any funeral procession member taken outside would be a top figure capable of founding their own sect.
Over the years in the Funeral Alliance, Whitaker Dog has traveled to many ces and killed many expert fighters.
Those glorious achievements, without exception, demonstrate his capability.
To encounter two strong opponents in one day was already enough to surprise him.
The chances of this happening are extremely slim!
There are only so many strong fighters in the world, how could they all gather in one ce?
Is the pale-faced sickly-looking person in front of me also an expert?
Is everyone in the Ocean Academy at this level?
Whitaker Dog doesn’t believe it!
It’s a bluff.
Martial Artists, after years and years of practice, be stronger and stronger.
Youths, due to their age, can’t possibly be so overwhelmingly powerful.
Julius Reed, an anomaly, has already left Whitaker Dog a bit stunned.
He can’t believe there’s a second such freak in the world!
"You first." enor Wood walked up to Whitaker Dog and said calmly, "Quickly, I’m eager to sleep. It’s the middle of the night, and I’m tired."
"Tired? I’ll put you into eternal slumber right now!" Without warning, Whitaker Dog threw a punch!
Fast, precise, ruthless!
This punch carried a force of a thousand pounds!
If it hits, even a reinforced concrete wall will be knocked with a huge dent!
Bang!
enor Wood didn’t dodge!
Instead, she extended her hand to take the punch directly!
Crack!
The sound of ice shattering was constant.
An unknown frost had somehow formed in the palm of enor Wood’s hand!
The frost shattered!
Coalesced.
Shattered again!
Coalesced again!
Finally!
enor Wood squinted her eyes and clenched her hand tightly!
Crack!
Whitaker Dog’s face turned pale instantly.
Cold!
An ice-cold chill to the bone.
The coldness pierced the bones!
"Hiss..."
Whitaker Dog gasped.
He jerked his hand back!
The entire arm went numb!
Frozen numb!
One arm was nearly broken by Julius Reed, and the other arm was frozen numb!
"Terrifying, truly terrifying!" Whitaker Dog silently cursed in his heart.
For the first time, he felt fear.
"How about it? I have more than a dozen senior brothers downstairs, care to meet them?" After saying this, Julius Reed grabbed Whitaker Dog’s hand, ready to head downstairs.
"No! No! There’s no need..." Whitaker Dog shook his head like a rattle drum.
Go down?
He’d fought two people and lost two arms!
If he goes down again, will he lose his legs too?
By then, he’d truly be lying in a coffin, being carried back.
"Don’t, I know you don’t believe it. But here at Ocean Academy, we always do things openly and uprightly. Now follow me downstairs and spar with my brethren!"
Julius Reed spoke stubbornly.
"Today..." Whitaker Dog forced himself to speak calmly despite the pain shooting through his head like ice: "Tonight’s toote, I’ve traveled far, and I’m not yet rested. Let me sleep first, then I, Master Dog, can take on ten of your kind!"
"Alright! We’ll be waiting for you tomorrow!" Julius Reed said, then turned back to his bed.
"Wait... wait!" Whitaker Dog spoke up seemingly against his will.
"What’s the matter? Still want to fight?" Julius Reed rolled up his sleeves and walked up fiercely.
"No... no, no! Don’t get me wrong!" Whitaker Dog stammered.
Cold sweat poured from his forehead.
If the others made a move, would he lose a leg as well?
Wouldn’t that make him ame dog?
"About that." Whitaker Dog sniffled awkwardly before speaking: "The door..."
"The door? It’s not locked. I’m warning you, don’t think about staying in my room!" Julius Reed’s face sank, displeased, "Leave quickly!"
"I don’t know how to open it." Whitaker Dog lied through his teeth.
He couldn’t possibly say both his arms were useless, right?
"Then how did you get in?" Julius Reed shrugged and returned to bed. "I’m warning you, if you’re not gone in three minutes, prepare for a beating!"
With that, he pulled up the covers.
Awkward!
That was Whitaker Dog’s situation.
Hiss!
Whitaker Dog took a deep breath, lifted his foot, grimaced, and bit onto his sock, pulling it off forcefully!
He finally managed to get the sock off.
Then, using his foot, he slowly opened the door handle.
"Phew!"
As he pushed the door open, he felt as though the whole world had brightened.
Whitaker Dog swore to wash his feet regrly in the future.
Closing the door behind him, he fled in haste.
"Are you sure he’ll believe it?" after Whitaker Dog left, enor Wood asked quietly.
Whitaker Dog was indeed strong; he could feel it when he struck.
However, since Whitaker Dog only had one working arm, enor Wood found it rtively easy to fight him.
"Rx. Whitaker Dog is a very arrogant person; now that he’s been beaten, he’s sure to be rattled!" Julius Reed pulled back the covers andughed boisterously, "Just wait, the confrontation at Boulevard Mountain will be quite the spectacle."
Julius Reed had investigated the Funeral Alliance; it was a very powerful organization.
But this organization only cared about money, everyone striving for wealth with no beliefs or limits.
Now, it’s the right time to give them some eye drops, forcing the Funeral Alliance to battle!
"I hope so." enor Wood thought these people live incredibly tiring lives.
Once he got to Demarco Mount and found Anna Harris, he’d definitely live an easier life.
Relying on others for a while wouldn’t hurt.
...
301.
"Brother Dog!"
As soon as Whitaker Dog walked in, members of the Funeral Alliance approached him, curiously asking: "What’s going on?"
"Go!"
Whitaker Dog jumped directly into a coffin, his face shadowed: "Move! Raise the casket!"
"Brother Dog, where are we going?"
The Funeral Alliance members were dumbfounded.
They had been ready to rest, why leave now?
They were quite tired.
"Go! Forget about where! Just get out of here first!" Whitaker Dog lowered his voice, roaring, "If we don’t leave, we’ll lose our lives!"
The thought of Julius Reed and enor Wood’s skills filled him with dread!
"Quick! Quickly lift the casket!" It was the first time the Funeral Alliance people had seen Whitaker Dog so panicked and angry, and they instantly felt something was wrong.
Ignoring their fatigue, they quickly lifted the casket and left the hotel.
"Call...call headquarters!" Whitaker Dogy in the casket, his back drenched with sweat.
"Brother Dog, the phone!"
Quickly, a Funeral Alliance member dialed the phone, tossing it into the casket.
"Hello, this is the Funeral Alliance hotline. For cremation services, please press..."
"Press your head! This is Whitaker Dog, connect me to headquarters!"
Whitaker Dog yelled, quickly sticking his head out to check, frightened someone might see him.
Seeing no one around, he let out a long sigh of relief.
"Whitaker Dog, what’s going on? Was the situation in Town resolved?"
A woman’s voice came from the phone.
"Devlin has joined forces with Ocean Academy experts, aiming to eradicate me! I couldn’t defeat them..." Whitaker Dog admitted, a bit ashamed.
"Where?"
The woman’s voice suddenly turned cold.
"They’ll meet at Boulevard Mountain. I’ve never seen such strong methods by these people." Both of Whitaker Dog’s arms werepletely numb.
"Alright! I’ll dispatch people to Boulevard Mountain for the funeral!" With that, the woman hung up the phone.
