At the forefront was a 27–year–old woman. She stormed ahead with an air of indignation and jabbed a finger at Shirley. Her voice was sharp with anger. “Shirley! I demand 1,000,000 dors inpensation from yourpany! I must’ve been blind to ever think working for Dunn Group was a good idea<i>. </i>This ce is a dead end! Staying here any longer would’ve ined my entire future.”
Her name was Sandy Rock, and she joined the Dunn’Group two years ago. The first time she applied for a job at the Dunn Group, she was promptly rejected by the HR department because she graduated from an unrecognized university and didn’t meet the recruitment standards.
Unwilling to ept the rejection, she had waited outside thepany building for two days until Shirley arrived.
When she finally managed to catch Shierly at the entrance, she broke down in tears, pleading for a job at the Dunn Group. She spoke of her recent divorce, her child she had to raise alone with no source of ie, and a mother who was gravely ill in the hospital, desperately needing money for treatment. Furthermore, the Dunn Group offered the highest wage in Harmonfield.
At the time, Shirley had relented. She made an exception and ced Sandy in the nning Department, even bypassing the usual probation period with a starting sry of 10,000 dors a month.

After saying that, Amber turned to the crowd of employees standing behind Sandy, their faces filled with indignation. “And you all, are you just like her? Okay, let me ask you. Has Ms. Dunn ever mistreated any of you? Do you think that after Mr. Ramsey is gone, the Dunns have no one left to rely on, <b>so </b>you can take advantage of the situation? After hearing Amber’s words, many employees lowered their heads in shame. For the first time, they realized how despicable their actions were.
However, Sandy only let out a coldugh. “I worked at the Dunn Group, and I earned my sry fair and square. It’s not like Shirley gave me free money out of the kindness of her heart. Why should I be grateful for that? You’ve all seen it. These past few days, people have been cursing her right outside thepany gates. Shirley slowly pushed back the strands of messy hair falling into her eyes, her expression eerily calm. “Bring me thepensation agreement. I’ll sign it.”

“I despise ungrateful and treacherous people like you!”
Then she turned, her tonemanding, “Rita, disable her.”

“Ah!” Sandy crumpled to the ground with a bloodcurdling scream. Terror filled her eyes as she stared up at Daphne, too afraid to utter another word.
“Now, get out of the Dunn Group. Otherwise, when Mr. Ramsey returns, he’ll make sure your entire family pays the price!” Daphne pointed at Sandy, tilting her head as she gave the woman a chilling smile. Then she straightened, her gaze sweeping over the crowd that had once been moring forpensation.
“So? Who else wants to extort Ms. Dunn? Go ahead. Bring all your agreements forward. I’ll personally help Ms. Dunn settle every single one of you.”
Everyone had gone silent.
Daphne’s cold eyes scanned the faces before her. “Why don’t you talk anymore?”
Then, she turned to Jonah. “Mr. Ferguson, make a list of every single one of them. If someone refuses to be reasonable, then I won’t be reasonable with them either!
“Everyone who came here today is officially terminated from the Dunn Group! If anyone dares to disobey, I’ll make sure they disappear from this world for good! Let me tell you something. Mr. Ramsey will return! You pathetic scum think you have the right to bully Ms. Dunn. Do you even know who you’re messing with? Don’t worry, once Mr. Ramsey returns, he’ll pay each of you a personal visit. In his eyes, traitors like you, people who kick others when they’re down, deserve nothing less than death!”
Then, the employees dropped to their knees.

Vroom! The deep roar of engines filled the air, growing louder by the second.
A powerful convoy from Westeria Residence tore through the swirling snow, surrounding Shirley, Daphne, and the others.
Two soldiers stepped forward and pulled open a car door. Zayn, a man in a two–star general’s uniform, emerged. He leaned on a cane as he stepped out.
“Ms. Dunn, how did you end up in such a pitiful state?” he said, motioning toward the high–ranking Harmonfield officials following closely behind him.
“Back when Robin was running the Dunn Group, he engaged in a great deal of illegal activity. Many of thepany’s businesses are tied to vitions of thew.”
His sharp eyes locked onto an official beside him. “Mr. Quaid, I believe the Dunn Group should be seized immediately. A full–scale audit of its tax records, financial security, and business operations over the years must begin at once. If any irregrities are found, regardless of who’s involved, arrest them on the spot.”
Johnny Quaid, the supervisor of Harmonfield’s Inspection Bureau, nodded briskly. He pulled out <i>a </i>notepad and started writing. “Yes, Lord Westeria. I’ll dispatch an inspection team immediately to take over the Dunn Group’s ounts, conduct a strict inspection, and freeze all of their assets. Furthermore, we will coborate with Public Security and Judicial Bureau to detain all relevant personnel of the Dunn Group for questioning.”
Daphne spoke angrily, “What the hell is this? Zayn, are you using your power for personal revenge? Mr. Ramsey’s whereabouts are still unknown, and you choose now to pull this move? How despicable can you be?”
He lifted his gaze slowly to meet Daphne’s. Then, a low chuckle escaped his lips. “Ms. Rivers, I was just about to talk about you! You’re a Sakurania warrior from the Rivers family, hiding under a false identity in Harmonfield. What exactly are you nning? I suspect that you’re a Sakurania spy.”
Then, with a casual wave of his hand, he ordered, “Arrest her immediately and shut down Violetcrest International!”
