“Stop wasting your time scheming. That essence stone will never fuse with your blood.” Robin scoffed.

“The mythic essence stone is formed from the energy of the sun and moon, crystallized over countless ages. It won’t dissolve unless it’s soaked in dragon blood.

“Someone like you–lowly and deceitful–could never be worthy of such a sacred thing!

“The Dark Night Alliance is nothing but a pack of bugs. No matter how long you chase after it, the mythic essence stone will always be beyond your reach.”

Baird’s energy center was burning. But no matter how hard he tried, the essence stone refused to merge with him.

Robin sneered. “Baird, you hid away here 20 years ago and orchestrated a massacre that destroyed my family. And now? Everything you’ve done is meaningless.

“I won’t let you die quickly. I want you to suffer, piece by piece!

“The white dragon has taken countless blows to protect me, its body battered and scarred. I’ll carve you open and return the essence stone to the one who truly deserves it.”

Baird knew he had no strength left to fight. The essence stone wasn’t responding to him, and there was no escape. His voice trembled as he spoke, “Divine Drakebane, you misunderstood me!

“I wasn’t the one behind that ughter. I held deep respect for Dragon yer and Young Dragon Lord.

“It was the martial arts masters from the World of Darkness who carried out the true carnage at Dragon Manor!

“My only goal back then was to im the dragon–ying dagger from Dragon Ridge Valley, so I staged a diversion.

“The Dark Syndicate and the Panacea Ocean Warrior Alliance were the ones who seized the chaos tounch

    a massacre!

“And those who unleashed parasites to prevent the Seven Kings from rescuing Dragon Manor’s people? That was never part of my n!

“They pinned the me on me, twisting the truth. I only learned what happened afterward.

“The Dragon yer and Young Dragon Lord vanished that day. My people from the Dark Night Alliance only came to Draconia to find Dragon yer’s dragon–ying dagger.

“But then, the martial arts masters of the World of Darkness, deceived by the Dark Syndicate and the Panacea Ocean Warrior Alliance, used the opportunity to ughter Dragon Manor’s people.

“I had no part in it!”

Robin knew Baird wasn’t lying, but that didn’t matter.

“Vour eveuses mean nothing to me What matters is that you and everyone involved must die

“And right now, the question isn’t whether you live or die–it’s whether I gut you first or slice off your limbs before tearing you apart.”

Baird fell to his knees, his face pale. “Divine Drakebane, I swear I’m telling the truth! Can’t we at least talk this through? We had no personal grudge before. There’s no need for such extremes!”

Robinughed. “Do you know why they call me Divine Drakebane?–

“Because anyone who dares cross me–everyst one of them–is erased from existence. I don’t just kill my enemies–I wipe out their entire bloodline.”

With that, he stomped down on Baird’s leg, snapping it like a twig. At the same moment, he drove the dragon–ying dagger straight into Baird’s abdomen.

Baird let out a sharp, desperate scream, his eyes filled with pleading as he looked at Robin.

Despite being an Apex–level martial arts master, he was now reduced to groveling. “Divine Drakebane, please spare me!

“From this moment on, I swear my undying loyalty to you. I’ll do whatever it takes to help you avenge the Dark Syndicate and the Panacea Ocean Warrior Alliance … ”

Robin paid no heed to Baird’s desperate words. Instead, he began slicing into him bit by bit with his dragon–ying dagger.

The cave was filled with the chilling echoes of Baird’s agonized cries.

Overwhelmed by pain, he swung his left fist at Robin in ast–ditch effort to fight back.

Robin didn’t evade but met the attack head–on.

A deafening crack rang out as bone shattered.

Baird’s fist and entire left arm were instantly reduced to mangled flesh.

    ”

Robin let out a cold chuckle. “No one responsible for my suffering gets to escape. None of you worthless scum will be spared!

“You butchered innocent lives without mercy. Now, no amount of begging will redeem you!

“People like you–power–hungry, ruthless–deserve nothing less than the cruelest fate!

    “Enjoy being gutted!”

Swiftly, Robin drove the dragon–ying dagger into Baird’s abdomen, slicing it open. His insides spilled out in a grotesque heap.

Baird shrieked in agony, his toughened body writhing in pain. “You’re a devil, Divine Drakebane!”

“Whether I’m a god stone dislodge.

or a devil doesn’t matter to me,” Robin said as he flicked the dagger, making the essence

The dagger, however, remained buried within Baird’s organs.

Robin’s words had barely faded when he twisted the dragon–ying dagger, tearing Baird apart from the inside.

Baird let out a feeble cry, his voice shaking, “Divine Drakebane… you’re a monster! Just put an end to me…

Robin yanked the dagger out coldly. “You think I’ll grant you an easy death? Don’t be absurd.

“I’m here to set things right. I’ll make sure your sufferingsts as long as possible!”

Robin rinsed the essence stone in the melted snow, watching as its bloodstained surface was washed clean, revealing its pure, radiant glow once more.

Without wasting a second, he turned to the wounded white dragon and gently ced the essence stone into its mouth.

The wounded white dragon slowly opened its weary, bloodshot eyes, a faint glimmer of tears reflecting in

    them.

With great effort, it lifted its head slightly and coiled its massive body around Robin, pulling him close.

Its long, snow–white whiskers wrapped tightly around his shoulders as if unwilling to let go.

Gradually, the white dragon’s strength began to return, and a soft, melodic hum filled the cave.

It was as if the dragon was recounting a fateful encounter from 50 years ago–an extraordinary blessing from the heavens.

Though its strength was recovering, the dragon remained unable to move. A massive pile of fallen rocks still pinned down half of its body.

Robin surveyed his surroundings, noticing that the two figures near the rocketuncher had copsed, seemingly ovee by sheer terror.

Stepping toward theuncher, he saw that five rockets remained.

He picked it up, walked back to the dragon, and gently patted its head–a silent signal.

He was about to use the rockets to st away the debris trapping its tail, and he needed the dragon to pull free at the right moment.

One after another, five rockets wereunched. With a final, powerful tug, the dragon freed its tail.

The white dragon let out a triumphant roar before sinking its fangs into Baird, who was barely clinging to life.

Despite his formidable skills as a martial arts master, Baird struggled in vain. In the end, his body was crushed beyond recognition.

With the battle over, the dragon coiled protectively around Robin, resting its head gently beside him.

Dressed in mourning attire, Catherine stayed on her knees before the mourning hall, her tears flowing without end.

After a long time, she bowed deeply in farewell. “Grandpa, Master Ramsey was ambushed and murdered by those who conspired against him. Yet, our side continues to evade responsibility, hiding behind excuses.

“I’ve made up my mind. If no one else will act, then I will. I’ll defend what little honor we have left.

“I’ll seek justice for Master Ramsey–alone, if I must!”
