In front of the Sogas Hotel, Robin had just stepped out of the car as he grabbed Shania by the neck when they ran into Vera.
“Robin, what are you doing?” Vera asked, her eyes full of suspicion as she looked at Robin gripping Shania.
“Ms. Coyle, what’s going on?” She asked, her voice tinged with disbelief.
“Mmmm.” Shania struggled to speak, but her hands were bound by Rita, and her mouth <b>was </b>gagged with a wet wipe. All she could do was il her legs and make muffled noises.
Vera grabbed Robin’s arm and asked, “What’s happening? Can you at least remove the wet wipe from her mouth?”
“Do you know each other?” Robin loosened his grip on Shania and pulled the cloth out of her mouth. Vera nodded. “Yes. I’m negotiating with Nine Stars about a partnership on medical equipment.” “Are you seriously considering partnering with such a dishonest, unscrupulouspany?<i>” </i>
Shania gasped for air, clutching her chest and dry heaving. “How could you do that to me? Treat me?<b>” </b>

As he turned, a woman stumbled into his arms in panic.
“Alice?” Vera shifted her focus from the conversation with Shania.
Alice stood there, pale and panicked, staring at Robin and Vera.
It was clear that Alice was extremely nervous, her whole body shaking.
After a moment of panic, Alice quickly lowered her head and rushed toward the hotel’s exit.
Vera watched as Alice, apanied by another woman, gged down a taxi. She stood frozen for a long time.
“Robin, do you know? Alice hasn’t been doing welltely.”
Robin pressed the elevator button without emotion. “I have nothing to do with her now. I don’t want to know about her situation.”
Vera hesitated for a moment before speaking carefully, “I heard from some executives at Harmonfield that Alice may not be in good health. I haven’t had much contact with hertely, though. I was traveling to sort outpany matters.
“Before I came to ria, I visited Harmonfield headquarters. Some executives there told me Alice had resigned from the Harmonfield Hotel, possibly due to health reasons.”
Robin sighed and took out a bottle of Caffepan from his pocket, handing it to Vera.

“It’s something that fell from Alice this morning. Do you think her illness is rted to this drug?”
“Is Alice using Caffepan?” Vera’s eyes widened in shock. “Has Alice been diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia?”

“I’m not sure,” Robin replied, shaking his head. “She probably came to ria to buy this medication.”
Vera furrowed her brow and asked, “But as far as I know, Caffepan is costly here. Why would she need to buy it here when she can get it domestically?”
Robin pointed at the bottle in her hand. “That’s not the real thing. It’s a counterfeit by Criele.
“Criele’s Caffepan was temporarily discontinued after aint from Draconia’s distributor. They can’t sell it directly anymore.
“The stock was then handed over to ria’s dealers for private sales. These Caffepan tablets, which usually cost over 20,000 dors in the market, can be bought in bulk for just 500 dors.”
Shania, momentarily forgetting her captive state,mented, “Can it really be safe to take something that cheap? It must be fake, right?

Shania immediately realized her situation and fell silent.
