Mabel paused, considering it. “You know what? Yeah. Let’s make them kneel and apologize <i>to </i>me. We’ll <b>see </b>which side the elites of Hunderra and ck Faith Order stand on.
“I don’t believe for a second that the ckfaith Seal he’s holding <b>is </b>even real!”
Just as Mabel, Donald, and Lucian were about to storm over and humiliate Robin and Daphne, a wave of greetings came from behind them.

Mabel froze in ce and turned around, spotting Xylon’s handsome face shining in the brilliant sunlight.

Whatever irritation she felt toward Robin and Daphne vanished like smoke. Now, all she wanted was to shine in front of Xylon.
“Mabel, you’re early,” Xylon said warmly.
“Come on, let’s head in together.”
He was tall, striking, and had a natural air of authority. Xylon walked straight toward her<b>, </b></divpletely stealing the spotlight.
“There’s an even more distinguished guest arriving today,” he added casually.
“A more distinguished guest?” Mabel’s eyes flickered with curiosity.
In all of Hunderra, aside from the ruler of Rosha or her father, the Duke of Hunderra, who else could Xylon consider such an honored guest?
Xylon smiled. “The Master of the Crownward Syndicate of Netheris. He’ll be presiding over my Peak Warrior advancement ceremony.
“The head of the Crownward Syndicate? Now that’s serious prestige,” someone nearby murmured.
Everyone around nodded in amazement.

Lucian, however, was getting impatient watching Mabel stick so closely to Xylon.

She never rejected him, nor did she give him a clear answer.

He and Lucian exchanged looks, both thinking the same thing. Mabel needed to distance herself from Xylon.
But as they searched for Robin and Daphne, they saw they had already entered the ck Faith Orderpound.
Robin and Daphne entered the ck Faith Order’s courtyard, where a crowd had gathered.
They weaved through the people and sat down in the far northern corner, trying to avoid drawing attention to themselves.
Robin’s only purpose here was to find Archmage Varryn and ask about the Soul Capturing Technique and the Dark Syndicate’s Soulforge Prison location.
Ryleigh and ric followed Robin and Daphne to the farthest corner of the courtyard and sat down.
Ryleigh, eager to strike up a conversation, turned to Robin. “Mr. Ramsey, you must really like daggers to have spent so much on that one, huh?”
Robin gave her a cool smile, not answering.
She pressed on, “I heard that dagger was made of adamantine. How could something like that sell for such an insane price?”
Sensing that Robin didn’t want to engage with Ryleigh, Daphne cut in. “Ms. Virelli; Mr. Ramsey bought the dagger for his own reasons. Please, don’t ask further.”
Ryleigh quickly apologized, “Oh, right, I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have asked about your personal tastes.”
“Ms. Virelli, Mr. Virelli, you’re both here!”
A burly man in his 30s walked up to Ryleigh and ric.
He was Kobe, the newly appointed head of security at Gyro Castle.

If it hadn’t been for Robin killing Evander, Kobe probably would never have reached the head of security.
When he saw Robin, he immediately stepped forward to greet him. “Mr. Ramsey, my name is Kobe, head of security at Gyro Castle. Would it be alright if I sit here?”
Kobe hoped to cozy up to Robin, thinking it would help him secure his position at Gyro Castle.
Meanwhile, Lucian, who had just entered the ck Faith Order’s courtyard, spotted Ryleigh sitting with Robin. His anger red up again.
He wanted nothing more than to march over and punch Robin in the face.
“Donald, look! That guy’s still there. Go talk to Mabel. We’ll go over and put him in his ce!” Lucian grumbled, seething. “I don’t care if we’re in ck Faith Order territory. He’s not gonna get away with this!”
Mabel was also eyeing the crowd’s edges, thinking about how she could get closer to Xylon. Donald stepped forward, irritation on his face.
“Mabel, look at that jerk over there. Let’s go teach him a lesson!” he suggested.
Mabel looked back at Xylon, who seemed too busy to chat.
She figured now was as good a time to shake things up.
She gestured to her four bodyguards.
All four were top–tier warriors from the Hunderra household, Peak Warriors, each of them.
“Go over there and check out that guy sitting across from Ryleigh. I suspect he’s up to something. He might be trying to cause trouble at Young Lord Fairfax’s Peak Warrior ceremony!” she ordered.
The four Peak Warriors bowed respectfully, eager to please the Duke’s daughter. “Don’t worry, Ms. Lovett. We’ll make sure they’re kneeling at your feet!”
Mabel, Donald, and Lucian shared a sly smile.
“Let’s go watch,” Mabel said with a grin. “Let’s see how this guy begs for mercy in front of four Peak Warriors!”
The four Peak Warriors marched up to Robin and Daphne, their voices cold. “Stand up! Tell us who and where you’re from, or I’ll make you crawl out of here!”
Kobe, Ryleigh, and ric were stunned.
They looked at the four Peak Warriors‘ insignia, identifying them as Hunderra household guards.
When they saw Mabel, Donald, and Lucian approaching with smug grins, Ryleigh understood immediately.
It was clear that Mabel was still upset about Robin and Daphne’s earlier behavior. She was looking for trouble at the ck Faith Order’s celebration.
