"So? Who is she?"
"Hehe, I-I’m sorry, miss. I’m just ying a prank to get back at this guy. You can think of me as his ultimate underling."
From inside Shye’s office, voices could be heard—one angry, one frantic, and one apologetic.
Shye desperately tried to exin the situation, terrified by the look on Shirley’s face—he had never seen her like this before.
It was also his first time finding himself in such a predicament.
Meanwhile, Luna watched them with amusement, barely suppressing a chuckle froming out of her mouth.
This was also her first time seeing the capable and almost invincible Shye Crowley struggling to solve a situation.
It was hrious.
In reality, Shirley had already epted Seira’s exnation. She was simply ying a prank on Shye, finding his reactions endearing.
Thus, after enjoying her lover’s rare, desperate expression, she finally "forgave" him—on one condition…
"Fine, I shall believe you. If you treat me to steak!"
"S-Sure! I’ll treat you to the finest restaurant!"
"..."
After defusing the tense situation, Shye gave Seira a light smack on the back of her head for ying a prank on him, causing her to inwardly sigh with relief.
It seemed that her boss was still very much her boss.
She feared that Shye, caught up in fame and glory, might be distant and forget their promise and friendship.
Fortunately, it seemed that there was nothing for her to worry about.
"Hehe, sorry, boss. I just missed the old days. Anyway, y-you didn’t forget our promise, right?"
"Hmm? What promise?"
"B-Boss…d-d-did you seriously forget? Y-you promised to help me f-f-find prie–"
"Pfft… Hahaha! I’m just kidding. Do you really think I, the great Shye Crowley, could forget a promise? I was just messing with you—this is payback for what you did!" Shyeughed, briefly sticking out his tongue to tease the panicking Seira.

"B-Boss! You’re so mean! How could you tease me like that when my family’s life is on the line? Phew... I seriously thought you had forgotten..." Seira inwardly sighed with relief.
"It was just a joke, a joke!" Shye said, "If it went too far, I’m sorry. I won’t do it again."
After apologizing for what might be an insensitive prank, Shye’s expression turned slightly more serious.
"So, where is your family? How much time do we have left?"
"T-They’re not in any condition to travel, so I left them at my house in Balkrow and hired a temporary caretaker to take care of them. Given their condition... we probably have about two weeks." Seira replied, evidently fighting back the tears welling in the corners of her eyes.
’So that’s why she was on edge, huh?’ Shye pondered, finding his earlier joke a bit insensitive.
"I see…again, I apologize for teasing you."
"N-No worries, boss! I’m just too anxious…C-Can we help them as soon as possible? Like…now…maybe?"
Seira felt she might be asking too much, but she couldn’t shake the anxiety in her heart, worrying that if she dyed, she might find their bodies cold.
"Of course, let’s lift their curses as soon as possible," Shye said with a smile.
He also wanted to see Seira smile cheerfully, as carefree as she could be.

"Shirley, do you want to go with us to Balkrow City? This won’t take long."
"Yeah, I’d love to."
Shortly after their conversation, Shye, along with Shirley, Seira, and Luna, exited the division leader’s office, eliciting looks of admiration from the male guildsmen.
"D-Damn, the division leader is just too cool! Securing threedies…gorgeous ones at that!"
"W-Weren’t they all in his office just now? D-Do you think…"
"You idiot! You and that dirty mind of yours…"
Themotion attracted Shirley’s attention, giving her the idea to prank Shye again.
"Hoh, why does it seem like the division is used to seeing you leave your office with women?" She said, faking a cold tone.
"S-Shirley! How can you say that? I truly didn’t fool around! You’re the onl– AHEM!"
Noticing that his girlfriend was barely holding back augh and that all the division members in the lounge were watching him, Shye cleared his throat, feeling a bit embarrassed.
’Heh, you dare prank me now, Shirley? Just you wait—I’ll get my revengeter in the bedroom…’ he thought to himself, already nning his pleasant revenge.
"Members, line up! I have an important announcement," Shye dered with authority, exuding the charisma of a true leader—the foolish expression he had moments agopletely gone.
Naturally, not a single one of his members dared dally, lining up immediately.
Standing beside Shye, the three beauties witnessed his full disy of authority, which left them utterly impressed and slightly ufortable as they faced hundreds of his underlings.
"I need ten diamond-ranked priests or priestesses with the [Cleanse] skill at Level Four or higher. I have a small mission for you and rest assured, thepensation will be more than satisfactory."
After hearing their division leader’s words, more than twenty members scrambled eagerly, hoping to be among the ten chosen.
Their division leader had a reputation for generosity—if he promised more than satisfactorypensation, he meant it.
Only a fool would pass up the chance to join this "small mission," no matter what it entailed.
They trusted Shyepletely, knowing he would never endanger their lives.
In less than a minute, ten priests and priestesses were already lined up, while a few others in the backgroundmented, teary-eyed, that they hadn’t moved quickly enough.
Naturally, the three beauties were utterly impressed again. Seira even had tears welling in the corners of her eyes.
If it was like this, then her beloved mother and little brother were saved.
Momentster, after verifying that all ten indeed had [Cleanse Lv.4], Shye nodded in satisfaction.
He then led the three beauties and the selected priests and priestesses out of the division lounge, drawing the attention of their guildmates and leaving them curious about what the shy Ravens Rising was nning.
However, just as they were about to reach the guild headquarters’ exit, a young man stepped in their way, blocking their path.
His actions naturally caused a frown to form on Shye’s face.
"Hey, hey, Miss Shirley, that’s pretty cold. You’ve been turning down my invitations, but you agreed to go with Shye Crowley?"
