He, Shye Crowley, was caught off-guard by whoever the hell threw the trinket.
"Awawa!! I-I apologize, Mister Crowley! I-I just want to wish you luck by giving you the Goddess of Victory''s trinket. P-Please don''t be angry!" Mira said, appearing extremely panicked.
She didn''t mean to hurt Shye.
However, too shy to call out, Mira nned to throw the trinket in front of Shye so he could see it and pick it up before entering the boss room.
Unfortunately, as a priestess, she didn''t haveplete control over her arm strength.

After the short distraction, Shye took a deep breath and quickly refocused on the task at hand.

The Voidos Devourer was a huge creature, standing five meters tall and towering on two legs.
Its long arms were extremely strong and muscr, while thevender bony growths behind its body, resembling spider legs, twitched eerily.
It had purple skin, like most [Void]-type creatures.
However, despite being bipedal, it resembled a lizard more than a human, with an enormous maw threatening to rip Shye apart in a single bite.
Unsettlingly, it alsocked a face, simr to the Voidgar Commanders and Voidgar Pawns.
…As the distance between Shye and the floor guardian decreased, the Voidos Devourer suddenly opened its maw.
It was gathering mana and void energy, condensing them into one powerful beam to erase Shye from existence.
"Mister Crowley!" Mira eximed worriedly.
Despite his outward appearance as an arrogant youngster, the priestess somehow sensed that he had a kind and understanding heart.
She believed that Shye was merely forced to act that way to avoid being looked down upon by their teammates.
Hence, she found it difficult to see him being killed right in front of her.
"Hmph! Let''s say you can survive this beam attack using the Impious Origin Belt''s active skill. What then? How will you instantly defeat this Voidos Devourer, with its void armor and tough physique? And what about afterward? How will you survive its next attack?" Dalton sneered in disdain, intentionally making sure his teammates could hear his words.

Time slowed to a crawl as the extermination party watched onser-focused. They couldn''t miss the perfect moment to step in.
Otherwise, their party leader might perish.
However, as the purple void beam fired from the Voidos Devourer''s gaping maw, Shye''s body was suddenly enveloped by a ck protective aura.
Soon after, the void beam collided with Shye''s body, disintegrating the barrier to mere mana particles.
That was all Shye needed, though.
Promptly after making it past the void beam, a cross-sh mark emerged from Shye''s sword, colliding with the invisible void armor protecting the Voidos Devourer.
"Heh, that''s it? I told you that the void arm–?!"
Dalton was about to mock Shye again, but his words were cut short as he stood there, mouth agape and eyes wide, witnessing what Shye had just done.
After using his skill, [Half-moon sh],bined with a charge of [Boost] to destroy the invisible void armor, both of Shye''s des were immediately enveloped in a red sheen.
He then ferociously shed at the defenseless Voidos Devourer, cleaving its head and brain in half, along with the hidden core inside.
Soon after, purple blood spouted, staining the muddy y ground as ifvenders were blooming there.
*THUD!*
The floor guardian''s corpse, under the dumbstruck gazes of the WAA extermination party, copsed with a thud, revealing a single azure orb.
However, not a single one of them paid the item drop any attention as the entire party, including Dalton, couldn''t take their eyes off Shye, who slew the Voidos Devourer in mere seconds, just like he promised.
