CHAPTER 63


    All 10 alphas ced their right hand over their heart and bowed, no words uttered but eptance by


    heart, Selena as their new alpha. A surge of energy greater thanst night radiated from her moon


    mark to her whole body. Her body feels hot and her skin tingles. Zaden was right, it is a power running


    through her veins, almost intoxicating her; almost. Her body was emitting a silver sheen, like an ice


    sculpture out of its cold storage. Her soul felt out of the body, it is now connecting with every single

    Selena let out a chuckle. She can see that Reimus is now, standing in front of his pack and exining


    to them their situation. They look upset and Selena frowned with a sigh. Further down her vision, a

    Her vision narrowing down, scanning through every single nook and cranny, observing everything until

    “Why is there a bed and cuffs and stuffs in your dungeon?” Zaden and her Mountain Manuka pack


    frowned, notprehending what she is saying. Theodore hesitated and flustered.


    “Well...it''s for Epsilon” he finally was able topose a sentence even if it doesn''t exin anything to


    Selena.


    “Why, does he sleep there? He doesn''t have a bed here in the mansion?” Zaden questioned.


    “He does...he does... but he also has a bad habit...” Theodore paused again and earned a cocked


    eyebrow from Selena. He sighed out


    “He likes to... rape she-wolfs and sometimes even human women in that dungeon. He has a vicious


    taste in sex” Rowana, a female alpha just like Selena exined. Selena gasped in horror as her eyes


    widened. Zaden already stands up from his chair and heading towards her. It was clear in all 10 alphas


    faces how embarrassed they are with the facts behind the bed in dungeon.


    “And...and all the apparatus on the wall?” she asked, still horrified. Zaden reached her, pulled her up by


    her arm and embraced her. He started whispering in her ears and all the other werewolves in there,


    tried so hard to mute down their hearing.


    “Those are the things he must have use on the she-wolf under his control” he said to her ears


    “Don''t be silly. There were spiky rods, Zaden” Selena is now looking up at Zaden and he gazed back at


    her, partially hoping she would understand. She red back at him for seconds, hoping he would deny


    what he just said or have a logical answer to her question, but he didn''t budge. Her eye widened and


    her palm slowly raised to her mouth, sealing them from horror. Her head snapped to the other alphas.


    “Why the hell would someone do that to a woman? No no no!!! Why the hell didn''t you guys do


    something to stop him?”


    They remained silent.


    “That''s their alpha, baby girl. How are they supposed to go against him?” Zaden eximed.


    “But that''s not fair, can''t you stand up to him when you know, obviously, he is cruel? I mean, we would


    tell you if you were being cruel!!!” she is venting to Zaden


    “Because...he gives you that option. Other alphas don''t do that. Pack members would be facing terrible


    punishments if they stand up to their alpha” Theodore pitched in, grabbing Selena''s attention. She


    looked back at Zaden when he was done, with a raised eyebrow like ‘is it true'' and he nodded gently as


    if indicating ‘yes’. She just realized how linear he had been to his pack members and how super flexible


    he has been to her, tolerating all her little sarcasm and misbehaviors. No wonder why Make was so


    agitated the day she made them all kneel down in the pit.


    “By the way, Luna is not bound to these rules. You are encouraged- no erase that-pulsory to stand


    up to your alpha when he goes out of line” he again, whispered to her ears.


    “I guess Queen Aira didn''t get the memo, then” Selena said it a bit louder and they all chuckled.


    “Moving on...” she pushed Zaden off her with both her palms on his chest and he pouted his lips,


    gesturing an invisible- contactless kiss to her. Added a smirk before turning and walking back to his


    seat. That devilish smirk and piercing eyes with thousands of hidden messages never fail to trigger her.


    Selena followed him like a kitten to sit at the other end, closer to the alphas, closer to her alpha. He


    kept that smirk, still gazing into her eye. She sat there fiddling with her hair between her fingers and


    chin in her palm, still admiring Zaden. The other in the table exchanged an unsure look, whether to


    wake them up from their trans or just let it be and walk out of here? Zaden stretched his arms under the


    table and pinched her thighs.


    “Ouch!!!” She flinched back, straightening her back, effectively knocking her out of her trans. She


    looked around to see everyone''s eye on her. A tingle crept up her cheeks as she blushed terribly.


    Pretending nothing had happened, she cleared her throat and resumed the meeting.


    “Next in agenda!!! I am technically your Queen and Zaden is your King, correct?” they all nodded


    “So, I am your alpha and Luna to Mountain Manuka pack, correct?” they all nodded with a frown except


    for Zaden who is casual at the moment. He knows where this is going as they have discussed the


    previous night.


    “ Obviously, Mountain Manuka pack is considering joining us here, it shouldn''t be a problem. The


    opportunity for them to grow and excel is much much brighter here. But...when I left, we had poachers


    and rogues invading those mountains, probably initiated by Epsilon but they havee to a habit of


    hunting in those mountains...” she paused and observed their reaction. They are still frowning and


    listening to her.


    “As far as I understand, I have the ability to listen and control those animals” Selena is now looking at


    Orion and he nodded


    “Those abilities have no or minimal use here” Her eye hasn''t moved away from Orion and he nodded


    again.


    “What is the purpose of having an ability if I can''t use them?” Orion is now irritated.


    “Where are you going with this?” he asked Selena


    “Well, after a lot of thinking, WE havee to a solution. I would be cing a werewolf that would


    even die for me, here, on my behalf and I will be in Mountain Manuka” Selena pointed at Zaden and


    herself, but her eye still on Orion. Everyone in the pack became restless.


    “What if he is also like Epsilon? How can we trust anyone else but a Samrat to do any good to us?”


    Capsion spoke


    “I understand your concern but Epsilon was not chosen by Ozrain. He left the pack with Queen Aira


    and never revisited his pack. If he had, Queen Aira would have been in charge and you all wouldn''t


    have to face Epsilon, am I right?” everyone nodded as she made sense.


    “Likewise, I would still be in charge of major decisions. We will form a way to connect where all the 11


    alphas would be able to contact me and vice versa, anytime we wish. Unlike the previous King, you


    have the liberty to talk to me about my alpha and I will face it personally.” Selena''s eye panned from the


    other alphas to Orion and he is feeling ufortable now. He slightly leaned his head back


    “Wait, why the fuck are you looking at me like that for?” his eyes are wide in fear and a smirk carved

    “Orion....” Zaden pitched in.


    “No, why is she looking at me like that ?” Orion is getting more and more flustered.


    “Listen” Selena put her hand up and he is not calming down


    “You are sending me away? How can you do that? I am your beta!!!” he is venting at Zaden


    “She made me sell you, I was cornered” Zaden has his hand in the air now, defensive.


    “She can''t even buy an ice cream on her own and needs me to buy that for her. Where the hell did she


    get the money to buy me?” Selena cleared her throat. She rubbed her neck with her palm and now


    looking at her knees.


    ‘I assume you would have heard usst night...’ Zaden mind-linked Orion personally


    “Oh my god!!! “ Orion eximed aloud as he threw his hands up wide in the air.


    “I can''t believe you sold me to this little brat for sex!!!” every alpha of Samrat packughed out loud at


    Orion''s outburst


    “A little correction- amazing sex...” Zaden said low. Selena red at him before running her palm


    through her face in frustration


    “Would you two please stop it!!!” she snapped at both of them


    “Orion, think about it. Those who want to further their studies in Mountain Manuka can do that under


    your care, we can continue to develop Mountain Manuka and we will be there to protect the animals


    too” Selena was counting her fingers when she lined out her reasons


    “And...you get to stay away from all the sex noises” Make added, earning a re from Selena


    “Orion, please...There is no one whom I would trust and better for this job than you...” she grabbed his


    arms and her eye is pleading with him. Unknowingly, his love for her made him melt.


    “Fine!!! “ he spat those words out and Selena pped her hand, cheering for him. So did all of them.


    Selena was satisfied that they all had epted him. Now, she can return to Mountain Manuka with


    peace of mind.
