    Something shimmering behind Ozrain''s shirt button. What is that? Selena tried to sharpen her vision. It


    is a gold, heart shaped hiatus locket, something that is familiar to her, much familiar to her. A sudden


    fear striked her, shivering her to core and it clicked. The locket belongs to her mother, Daisy. It is now


    hanging on Ozrain''s neck. The w mark on Daisy''s car and Ozrain saying that his daughter died


    years ago-it all clicked. Ozrain must have killed her mother thinking that she is his daughter. Selena


    eye widened at the locket. Ozrain caught her view, although he doesn''t know how the girl in front of him


    rted to his dead daughter, he was sure of not letting her go. A determination crept to his eye which


    portraited as anger and he is now ring at Selena. She turned around in a swift, attempting to run


    back to Zaden but Ozrain caught her from behind. He lifted her up from the floor.


    “ZADEN!!!” the pack panicked and stepped to attack

    A mind-linked stopped them at their feet. It was Ozrain. An urge to obey him,seized their foot. He


    grabbed hold of the girl in his arm, enduring every hit and scratch she is inflicting. The 5 in front of them


    didn''t move from their spot but begged Ozrain to leave Selena and none entered his ears.


    “Ozrain, what are you doing?” Grandpa Kai eximed


    “I''m not losing my daughter one more time” Ozrain turned around to leave. Just a few steps before he


    heard a loud voice


    “She is pregnant!!!” Ozrain stopped, Selena stopped. Everyone around them stopped


    “She is pregnant, with my child. With your blood, a promise of a next werewolf in Samrat.” Everyone''s


    eye widened as they darted back and forth from Selena and Zaden. Even Selena was shocked


    “Please...”Zaden dropped to his knees


    “I beg you...let her go...let my child and my love, live a peaceful life. Take me instead. She won''t fight


    you as long as you have me. She can''t... ” his voice was low and breaking. His pack was taken back.


    The alpha has kneeled down to save his mate. They exchanged looks between themselves, looking for


    another option but then, Orion kneeled down, next to his alpha. Followed by Sitka, Xavier and Make.


    The whole room felt cold as no one dared to breath heavy. Selena just realized what she had put at


    stake, the future of a whole pack. She calmed down. Maybe it is not a bad idea for one to take a hit for


    their whole pack.

    A devilish smirk crept Ozrain''s lip


    “Now tell me Alpha Zaden, if I have my daughter and a future Samrat in her, why do I need you for?”


    Ozrain said and Zaden regret his slip of tongue. He kept silent. With that, Ozrain turned around and


    grabbed Selena''s hands, pulling her behind him. Selena eye kept looking back at Zaden, at his


    vulnerable state. She forced herself to smile at him, a painful smile. She had given up hopes and


    maybe this is for the best, a reset button much needed at the moment.
