Chapter 146 Don’t Even Think About Leaving Alive

Hearing Baron’s words, Jerome flew into a rage.

He mmed his hand down on the tea table and sprang to his feet.

At the same time, the bodyguard behind him drew a Colt from his suit instantly, levelling the ck hole

of the muzzle straight at Baron’s head.

“Don’t push it, kid. If you spent one hundred million to buy up the Domom SPA, I’ll give you two

    hundred million.”

Jerome’s eyes were bloodshot as he yelled.

He knew better than anyone how crucial the Domom was to the Wilson family. More importantly, the

head of the Wilson family had grown dubious of his ability over this incident.

Although he’d already been named the sessor to the head of the family, before he actually got

there, he could lose the position of heir at any time.

So even if he had to take a loss of one hundred million, he needed Domom back.

Baron’s eyes narrowed, and he kept up his calm appearance as he leant back on the sofa and smiled,

“Mr. Wilson, are you trying to force the deal?”

The mansion before, the spa now. The person was different, but the methods were the same.

“All right, Baron. What’ll it take for you to sell me the Domom?”

Jerome took a few deep breaths, trying his best to tamp down on his anger.

Baron, eyes still narrowed, said, “It’s not impossible to give you the Domom, Mr. Wilson. If you’ll do one

thing for me, I could even give it to you for free.”

Baron’s sudden change of mind when he’d been refusing outright just seconds earlier put Jerome on

    guard.

“What do you need me to do?” Jerome asked, his expression icy.

“I’ve got an eye on the business that goes on in the Domom. If you’ll introduce your partners to me, I’ll

give the spa to you for free. How’s that?” Baron’s eyes glinted sharply as he stared down Jerome.

Jerome’s eyes registered shock, but he still acted as if he didn’t understand, frowning. “Isn’t the

Domom just a bathhouse? I don’t have any partners.”

“You’re a clever guy, Mr. Wilson, but I’m not stupid either. You know what business I’m talking about,”

    Baronughed.

He’d intended to leave this to the authorities and stay out of it himself, but now that he had the chance

to destroy that organization, it would be worth his upbringing in P.

Jeromepsed into silence, finally confirming that Baron already knew what was up with the Domom.

After a long while, he said, “Put it away!”

By his order, the bodyguard holstered the Colt, still keeping a close eye on Baron as he stood behind

    Jerome.

“If you know, then you should understand how important this business is. If I introduced my partners to

you, wouldn’t I just be adding apetitor for the Wilson family?” Jerome said.

Baron’s tone was still mild as he said, “Don’t worry. I won’t get involved in this business in Cona.”

Jerome lit a cigarette, took a deep suck, and puffed out a cloud of smoke as he squinted at Baron.

“Why should I trust you not to take business from the Wilson family?”

“That’s entirely your problem. I have the Domom, which means I control the business in Cona.”

With that, Baron lifted his wrist to look at the time. “You have one night to consider. If you have not

decided by ten o’clock tomorrow morning, you don’t need toe back to me, Mr. Wilson.”

    He rose to leave.

The bodyguard behind Jerome drew his gun again and pointed it once again at Baron.

Firearms weren’t his specialty. Quite the opposite, he was best close-quarters.

He’d drawn his gun because he’d felt an immense pressure from Baron. If it really came down to close

A sharp gleam passed through Baron’s eyes. “I advise you to put that toy away!”

“Baron, you don’t really think I invited you over as a guest?” Jerome narrowed his eyes.

    “You didn’t?”

    Baron mocked.

“Looks like I’ve beenying too low. People seem to think I’m a coward.”

    Jerome shook his head self-deprecatingly.

“So you’re not going to let me go, Mr. Wilson?” Baron asked.

“Who the fuck do you think you are? Giving me one night to consider?”

Jerome red up, snarling, “If you don’t give me an answer today, don’t even think about leaving alive!”

“Do you really think yourpdog and his piece of scrap metal there can threaten me?”

    Baron said, stepping towards Jerome.

    “Scrap metal?”

Jeromeughed maniacally. “Looks like you’re confident in your abilities.”

    “Don’t move!”

The bodyguard shouted, aiming at Baron’s head as he approached Jerome.

    Whoosh.

Just as he shouted, Baron’s body flickered, and the bodyguard’s eyes widened. He couldn’t get a bead

    on Baron at all.

    Wham.

One secondter, Baron’s hand was already on Jerome’s head, mming it onto the tea table.

With a crash, the ss surface shattered.

Face bloodied, Jerome’s nose hadpletely broken, and a moan of pain sounded from the depths of

    his throat.

Hearing the cry, the eight brutes outside swarmed into thepartment.

    “Boss!”

Seeing Jerome like that, everyone was stunned.

After a brief lull, they surrounded Baron.

The bodyguard’s face was white, his hand shaking as he gripped his gun, not daring to shoot.

He had a feeling that even if he opened fire, he wouldn’tnd the shot, and it was Baron who would end

    him right away.

    “Kill him! Kill him!!!”

    Jerome roared.

The eight brutes who’d escorted Baron here rushed at him.

Coldness shed through Baron’s eyes. His feet twitched, and he disappeared.

When he appeared again, the man with the goatee flew out into the distance.

It wasn’t over yet. Like a wraith, Baron sped around to every opponent and punched them once.

All eight of the brutes were down on the ground groaning in pain in just seconds.

In the whole of thepartment, aside from Baron, only the bodyguard with the gun remained

    standing.

His gun arm trembled, and his body followed along uncontrobly.

    Tap. Tap. Tap.

Baron’s footsteps sounded like death approaching, and the bodyguard shook even more.

    “Don’t – don’te near me, or I’ll shoot!”

    The bodyguard stammered.

Baron scoffed. He walked up close to the bodyguard, who didn’t dare pull the trigger.

Baron reached out for the Colt and took it effortlessly.

    Crack.

To the shock of the bodyguard, the steel barrel of the Colt bent instantly.

Bending steel with his bare hands!

    Was this a human’s power?

The bodyguard’s legs gave out, and he sat down on the ground, dazed.

“I told you this was scrap metal. You didn’t listen!”

Baron tossed the bent Colt to the bodyguard’s feet and strode towards Jerome, who was already

scared silly, and stepped on his face. “So now can I leave, Mr. Wilson?”
