Chapter 110 The Tragic Fate of The Porter Family
Wayne seemed to be filled with rm. The Brown family gave everything to Baron for free! It was so
incredible that Wayne couldn’t say anything!
Even Baron was a little surprised. He knew the Brown family would obey him after the ordeal, but he
never expected that Kris would give him everything!
“You must be mistaken, Mr. Brown! He is the one who threw you in jail! How could you do that?” Wayne
stared at him, uprehending.
The Porter family had set about taking over the business of the Brown family as soon as their owners
were sent in jail!
By great effort, the Porter family finally had some sess. One of thepanies under the Brown
family had agreed to work with them.
But it turned out that all his work was in vain. Kris gave the businesses to Baron for free! In that case,
the Porter family wouldn’t even get a chance to cooperate with them, not to mention taking over them.

Kris kept a straight face and said to Wayne grimly, “Don’t talk to me like that! Even your grandpa
William has no right to tell me what to do, let alone you jerk!”
At these words, Wayne was beginning to feel frightened again. He could not help quivering with terror.
Kris ignored him and turned to Baron, said, “There is one more thing, Mr. Owen. I just got a call from
the hospital. My grandson Hudson...he’s dead. The bastard got what he deserved! He kidnapped your
daughter, so I told the hospital not to treat him.”
When Wayne heard the news, his eyes were wide with terror and he was shaking. Kris sacrificed his
grandson to tter Baron!
Wayne looked carefully at Baron in front of him. This guy controlled the Brown family’s destiny easily.
He could throw them in jail, but also could let them out. How did he do that easily?
When Wayne thought about it, he felt temporarily limp with shock. He fell to his knees and begged, “I
am wrong! I am wrong, Mr. Owen! I am mad to say that to you! But what I said has got nothing to do
with the Porter family! Please let them off the hook!”
Wayne regretted his harsh words to Baron, but it was toote. Baron would never forgive him. So, he
only hoped that Baron would not be angry with the Porter family. He knew exactly that it was simple for
Baron to take down the Porter family.
When Wayne was repenting of his sin from his heart, his phone rang. It was William! Wayne was too
frightened to answer it.
“What’s wrong? Why don’t you answer your grandpa’s call?” Baron said, with a big smile. “Put him on
speaker. Let’s listen to a bit of what he told you.”
Wayne dared not refuse. He put William on speakerphone at Baron’s bidding.
“How is that going so far, Wayne? Did the bastard return the shares? It doesn’t matter if he says no.
But in that case, I will send someone to kill him.” William’s cruel voice came from the other end of the

phone loudly.
Baron had heard all his words but he was not angry. He smiled and stretched out his hand. Wayne
understood the hint and handed him the phone.
Baron put the phone up to his ear and said, “I’m very disappointed, William! You gave me the shares as
a gift but you want to get it back now! That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard!”
William gave a little start when he heard Baron, but he wasn’t afraid. “You’d better do as I say, Baron!
You are in no position to negotiate with me! Return the shares, and I will let you go, or you’re a dead
man!” William sneered.
“You want to kill me? Bring it on!” Without hesitation, Baron hung up and throw the phone in the trash.
Wayne still fell on his knees before Baron, fright weakening his knees. William’s words would consign
the Porter family to perdition!
Kris pointed to William and asked, “What do you mean to do with the jerk, Mr. Owen? I would like to
help.”
“Break his legs and send him back to the Porter family!” Baron said with no hesitation.
At these words, William was frightened out of his wits.
“Yes, Mr. Owen!” Kris said and got him out of the room.
At the Porter Courtyard, William was irritated by Baron. “You son of a bitch! How dare you talk to me
like that?! You mean nothing to me!” he roared.
William rubbed his chin and thought for a while. Then he said to his housekeeper, “Send a killer to
Cona! The killer must be the best of the best! And his mission is to kill Baron!”
After that sentence, the phone rang.
William walked over and picked up the phone. He grew more and more purple in the face as he
listened carefully. He jumped to his feet with anger and snarled, “What?! All our factories and
warehouses have been seized? And the River Construction Materials was also seized because of tax
fraud?”
The Porter family’s factories and warehouses had been seized. It meant that most of their businesses
were in a holding pattern. The loss was unfathomable.
The crisis must be dealt with immediately, or the Porter family would lose everything within a week.
“Find out who did this?” William ordered. After he answered the phone, he sat frozen with fear.
“Was it possible that Baron did it, Mr. Porter?” his housekeeper asked warily.
William shook his head without hesitation. “That’s impossible!” he said.
After some thought, he added, “It can’t be him. I admit that Baron is a bit influential in Cona because of
his Brone Group. But this is Kato. He’s nothing here!”
Just then, a van parked in front of the Porter Courtyard. And then immediately Wayne, covered with
blood, was thrown off the van.
