He was being hanged up at the Chen Family square, which was lively with the men from the Gu
Family; they were all listening to him uncaringly.

how you’ll stay arrogant!” said some members of the Gu Family. As they were about to make their
move, they were stopped by a voice that barked coldly, “Stop!”
“Madam Gu!” The members of the Gu Family on the square turned to greet Gu Yuehong, who walked
toward them along with a group of people.
“Step back!” ordered Gu Yuehong.
After they left, Gu Yuehong looked at Chen Pingan, held her hands behind her back, and said to him
with a smile, “A few years ago, a mysterious master had appeared in the world with the ability to shoot
a tiny leaf with an arrow from 100 miles away. I had assumed the man to be from a newborn Mystique
n, but I never expected that person to be you!”
She was right—the man before her was very powerful. Unfortunately, he had met the King of Nine

Chen Pingan’s eyelids were twitching when he heard her question. “Do you know my father?” he
asked, puzzled.

expected that sly old fox to have a remarkable hero for a son!” answered Gu Yuehong.
Gu Yuehong insulted Chen Diancang directly, which was reason enough for a man to be furious upon

him and the Gu Family?” he asked.
