Chapter 303 Your Friend is Going to be in Trouble


    Hu Huimin made a hooking gesture with her finger at Chen Hao. Given Chen Hao’s current identity, he


    didn’t want to simply give in and go over to her so pathetically. After all, he wasn’t one to be ordered


    around by her.


    Previously, while they were still studying, there were a few times when they attendedpetitions.


    Maybe Hu Huimin was used to being the team captain, so she often said things like, “Chen Hao, have


    you moved the few boxes of mineral water bottles like you were supposed to?”

    “He dares to not listen? Hu Huimin used to be his team captain. Now, she is a sergeant. If he doesn’t


    listen, she will catch him. Haha!” a girl jokingly said.


    “Chen Hao, I remember that you used to be really, really poor. But now you’re drinking at a bar. Did you


    somehow get rich?” Hu Huimin asked. She had been wondering about this since just now.


    “Huh? Chen Hao was really poor?” The girls were surprised.


    “Yes. During our high school days, Chen Hao’s family was well known for being poor. He ate one meal


    a day. Sometimes, he couldn’t even afford to pay the school fees. The point is, he was so poor that it


    was hard for one to imagine,” Hu Huimin said.


    She didn’t have any ulterior meaning when she said this. Since she was young, she developed a


    personality that was straightforward and capable; she said whatever was on her mind and didn’t care


    about protecting Chen Hao’s feelings. She had been like this since their high school years. Hu Huimin


    would sometimes talk about embarrassing things in public.


    Perhaps, in her eyes, being poor was not a big deal. However, at this moment, the way the girls viewed


    Chen Hao had turned to one of pity, because previously, everybody thought that he was the son of a


    wealthy family.


    “In that case, take your studies seriously. Study hard. It is better to concentrate on your studies and


    career.”


    “That’s right. I used to have a junior high school friend who had a high fever when he was young and


    his brain was not sharp after that. So, he started work very early. Now, he owns a shop. Therefore,


    Chen Hao, you must work hard too!”


    Before Chen Hao could say anything, the few girls interrupted him and started talking non-stop. Chen


    Hao didn’t exin anything, but merely only smiled bitterly and nodded his head.


    “Alright, Huimin, let’s go have a drink!” Shen Junwen put his hand into his pocket and lit a cigarette; to


    him, there was no more need to speak to Chen Hao anymore.


    “Okay, are you going, Chen Hao?” a girl mindlessly asked.


    “Why should he go? He won’t understand anything we talk about,” said Hu Huimin.


    Personally, she knew that her colleagues were probably only being polite. However, Hu Huimin was


    secretly worried that Chen Hao was unaware and wouldn’t be able to tell that it was an invitation out of


    pure courtesy; if that happened, it would be inconvenient. To let him tag along in this kind of situation,


    Hu Huimin felt ufortable. Then, she smiled and waved at Chen Hao; soon, the few of them left the


    bar.


    Looking back at the door, it seemed that the Dragon Tiger Brothers had finished their task. They were


    smoking and leaning against the wall, looking at Young Master Chen; they must had been waiting for


    Chen Hao for quite awhile.


    “Settled? Where’s Yang Lu?” Chen Hao asked.


    “She’s crying inside,” Tian Long said, smiling.


    Chen Hao shook his head helplessly. Then, the three of them left together.


    “Young Master Chen, those people are your schoolmates?” asked Tian Long after they came out.


    “One of them was my schoolmate from high school. Why?”


    “From the looks of it, those few people are either graduates of the Police Academy or the Military


    Academy. They must have gone through military training,” Di Hu said as he smoked.


    “Both of you are not bad. You can tell even that. The one I was speaking to? Her name is Hu Huimin


    and she graduated from the Police Academy. Now, she is in the police force. That’s quite something.”


    “Since she was your schoolmate, then I will be straightforward with you, Young Master Chen. This


    schoolmate of yours and her colleagues might get into trouble tonight,” Tian Long said after he rified


    the matter.

    “Just now, when they left, we saw two people following them. In fact, the two people were armed and


    had a murderous aura around them. They have gone through military training too and they have


    definitely killed before,” Tian Long answered.


    Actually, if he didn’t hear this from the Dragon Tiger Brothers’ mouths, Chen Hao wouldn’t have


    believed it. Just now, Chen Hao watched Hu Huimin and the rest as they walked out, but he didn’t

    Tiger Brothers, Chen Hao sprinted to the bar where Hu Huimin was headed to.


    When he got there, Hu Huimin and the rest had already started drinking; they were seated in front of a


    big table.


    “Hey! Huimin, look, why is Chen Hao here?” A girl spat her mouthful of beer, then pointed at Chen Hao


    with surprise.


    When Chen Hao noticed them, he walked over.


    “Why are you here?” Hu Huimin frowned this time; she thought Chen Hao was being clingy, so her tone


    of speech was one of annoyance. Really? We were only being courteous with you just now, and you


    actually took our invitation for drinks seriously. My god, what kind of person is he?


    “I’m only here to tell you not to stay outte tonight. It is quite dangerous. There are a few people who

    Chen Hao came mentally prepared for this situation when he came, so he merely nodded and left.


    “This person is so annoying. He thinks he’s on the same level as us, showing off like that.”


    “That’s true. Huimin, was he this annoying during high school?” The girls thought that Chen Hao was


    being meddlesome.


    “Hmph, I don’t want to talk about him. What’s the point? Meng, Tian, let’s go. Apany me to the


    washroom,” Hu Huimin said.
