Chapter 1078 Ninja
Maximilian could also understand what Connor was worried about—the leader of the Sakura Kingdom
would probably initiate another ambush once again. And Maximilian had also expected so.

guards surrounding your vi in case those assassinse for trouble.”
Hearing that, Connor said, “I have nned for this already. But we are still under exposure while they
could act secretly.”
Maximilian then lost in thought. If he wanted to put an end to this, he had to figure out a way to defeat
the leader in an overwhelming way. Otherwise, he would stille for revenge.
However, Maximilian didn’t deem it a good way that he should take a flight to threaten the leader once
again.

As they were both still lost in thought, a gunshot sounded from outside.
Connor couldn’t help getting nervous. He thought instinctively that it must be the assassins said by
Sakura Kingdom, “No! Those assassins is taking action.”

‘Mr. Davies, we hope that you can turn the man over to us. Otherwise, you family will be in danger. And

As the words on the letter were written in a crooked way, Maximilian could tell that it must be sent from
those of Sakura Kingdom.
When seeing this letter of threat, Maximilian wasn’t surprised. He had seen this kind of plot for so many
times. But it had never scared him.
Connor was also rendered mad when seeing the tone of the letter. But he was also a bit panic at the
same time.
“Let me go outside.” Maximilian said casually.
He knew that those assassins were here for him. Since then, he decided to show up himself so as to

As he walked out of the vi, he heard those assassins whispering.

conversation.

at nothing but ying dirty.” Maximilian started to provoke them as he knew that there was no need to
insinuate.
Hearing that, all those assassins were rendered livid. They didn’t expect that Maximilian actually dared
to provoke them so boldly.
Soon, dozens of them suddenly showed up.
All of them were wearing dark camouge with a mask on their faces. No one could saw their faces
clearly except for their body figures.
They were all holding tantos facing Maximilian while ready forbat.
Their camouge suit seemed to be quite familiar to Maximilian. He also heard that there were a kind
of assassin called ninja in the Sakura Kingdom, who he only saw in movies or animation. It was his first
time to see ninja in the flesh.
“Oh, you guys are ninjas?” Maximilian said casually.
Hearing that, all those ninjas were rendered sullen as they deemed it a kind of provocation. So they
had made up their mind to take him a lesson. Otherwise, it would be humiliating.
“Come no, let me see what you’ve got.” Maximilian sneered while curling up his finger provocatively.
When seeing that, Connor couldn’t help sweating. Meanwhile, he really appreciated his bravery. He
couldn’t believe that Maximilian actually dared to provoke them at this moment.
If it were someone else, they would have been scared out of shit.
All those ninjas coordinated together to besiege Maximilian in a circle.
“Attack!” one of the ninjas uttered.
Suddenly, the others all tried to stab him with their tantos. Seeing that, Maximilian jumped up high to
get rid of the siege circle.
Seeing that, those ninjas couldn’t help gasping. They couldn’t believe what they had just seen as if
something incredible just happened.
“What the hell was going on?” they couldn’t help eximing. This jump really stunned them.
Maximilian just said casually, “That’s all you’ve got? Come on, show me more!”
He didn’t feel surprised for their attack. Since they wanted to kill him, he was ready to face more fierce
attack.
Those ninjas kept wielding their tantos but they still failed to hurt him a bit.
Maximilian then took the chance to grab one of the tantos and then hacked one of them with it. Soon
one of the ninjas was knocked down on the ground.
When seeing that, the rest of them were all stunned. They paused and didn’t dare to attack again.
Suddenly, one of them took out his shuriken to initiate a sneak attack against him.
Maximilian hurried to dodge out of instinct but the shuriken hit another ninja by ident.

came out of his mouth and hey on the ground, unmoved.
