Chapter 1015 Death in Sleep
Harley felt very desperate. He was a smart man, and he could tell that Maximilian wasn''t on his side.
He waved his hand at Maximilian and said, "I think it''s time for us to calm down."
Flora gritted her teeth and said, "It''s all because of you! I didn''t know you, but you caught my whole
family here!"
Harley wanted to say something, but he fell in silence when he heard what Flora said. He felt so guilty.
Now he knew why she hated him so much. He would hate himself even more were he in her position.
"I''m really sorry for you." Harley sighed.
When Flora was nearly exhausted, she looked at Maximilian and asked, "Why did you bring him here?"
Harley''s lips twitched because he just saw a surprisingly quick change of expression on Flora''s face.
He wished Harley could have the same smile for him, but he knew that was impossible.
Maximilian said calmly, "I kept him here because I still need him."
Flora nodded her head when she heard that. That made perfect sense to her. She knew Maximilian did
everything for a reason.
Maximilian got a room for Harley.
When Laura came out and saw what was happening, she suddenly became enthusiastic and said, "I''ll
give you a hand, my dear son-inw."
Victoria stumbled over the stairs when she heard her mother called Maximilian that. She couldn''t

It was the first Laura had admitted that Maximilian was her son-inw.
She bit her lips and checked if this was a dream. Laura''s sudden change was so confusing.
Maximilian was just as confused as her. He rubbed his forehead and found this was a bit too sweet for
him.
He had been used to Laura''s indifference. He wondered why the woman suddenly became so
enthusiastic towards her. Maximilian had a bad hunch. There must be something wrong that he hadn''t
detected.
Maximilian took a deep breath and decided to find out what was wrong. He might be able to find out
what had happened.
Victoria wanted to know what had happened, too. She walked to Laura and said, "Mom, what''s wrong
with you? What''s got into you?"
Laura hesitated for seconds andughed in embarrassment, "I''m OK. Is this how I''ve always been?"
Victoria rolled her eyes as she heard what her mother said. That was so a lousy excuse. She knew her
mother, and she was sure her mother wouldn''t suddenly change herself into this. There must be a
reason.
As for the reason... she rubbed her head and wanted to sniff a trace of it.
Suddenly, Laura walked to Maximilian and said, "I need you to do me a favor, is that alright?"
Maximilian paused when he heard that. No wonder the woman was acting so abnormally. It seemed
that there was a reason, just as they had assumed.
"Mom, just tell me and I''ll do what I can to help you." Maximilian replied with a smile.
Laura was a bit surprised when she heard the answer from Maximilian. She didn''t expect him to be so
straightforward.
"Really? Thank you so much! I know you''d never let me down!" Laura was very excited.
Then she brought out her own idea. Her rtives were going to drop by very soon, and Laura wanted
to borrow Maximilian''s car to keep up appearances.
Upon hearing that, Maximilianughed, "Don''t worry, Victoria and I will go with you then."
Laura was overjoyed when she heard Maximilian said that. That was exactly the answer she wanted. It
would be best if Maximilian and Vitoria could go with her.
"Really? Thank you so much! I know you''d never let me down!" Laura was very excited.
Maximilian wasn''t surprised at her reaction. He knew this would happen. So he yawned and stretched

Maximilian kicked that person hard. The figure crashed into the wall and almost passed out.
Other people''s faces changed. They decided to make the first move. They take turns to attack
Maximilian, each strike fiercer than the former one.
Maximilian sneered when he saw this. He didn''t care how many people they had, because none of
them would be able to touch her.
He moved fast and those people panicked. They were all astonished and couldn''t believe how powerful
Maximilian was.
After Maximilian had got rid of those people, Harley was still asleep. Then he woke up and said,
"What''s up?"
Maximilian rolled his eyes. This guy slept like a log. He could''ve been killed without knowing what had
happened.
