Chapter 969 Treasure House in Dragon Sect

Chapter 969 Treasure House in Dragon Sect

Maximilian got down, reached out his hand as if probing for something under the car; for the driver, he

was just looking at Maximilian and wondering about his purpose in doing so.

After a while, he found a small device sticking onto the car''s chassis. As his eyes fixed on the little

device, his face darkened and he couldn''t believe that someone would ever do things as despicable as

    such to him.

Angrily, he showed the device to the driver and couldn''t help but shouted, "You''d better give me a good

    exnation for this!"

The driver became dumb, looked at the little gadget and realized that it was exactly an eavesdropping

device. He then waved his hand and said hastily, "Mr. Lee, you need to believe that we would never do

    something like that."

"I know, but you''d better check through all this!" Maximilian said coldly.

He had just been here in W city recently, and most of the men he had acquainted with here were those

of Rowen. And now, he had found an eavesdropping device under the car. Every clue indicated that

there were enemies sneaking around and keeping an eye on him.

Maximilian could never just stand aside and watch others pry his privacy.

The driver then quickly phoned Rowen and told him everything. Hearing all this, Rowen darkened his

face and thought that it was a disgraceful dereliction of his duty since protecting Mr. Lee ranked above

    everything on his to-do list.

He then decided to take the matter seriously. Knowing that Rowen was going to handle this thing,

Maximilian gave a sigh of relief.

After investing the thing thoroughly, his men came back and told Rowen the result, which was really out

of what he had expected. After getting all the clues rted to the issue, Rowen then phoned Maximilian

and was about to tell him everything.

    "Any clues?" Asked Maximilian.

"Sure. The one who did this, was from the Emperor Family, and be careful, Mr. Lee, they have their

eyes on you now." Answered Rowen hastily, thinking that the reason why the Emperor Family targeted

Maximilian was because he had previously disturbed their n in E Manor.

Hearing that, Maximilian said inly, "They have no idea about who I am and what they are going to

fight against. I will make them regret it."

"Please calm down, Mr. Lee. I will handle this, and you don''t have to worry about it." Said Rowen in a

    serious tone.

"Thank you. But no, since I want to take care of it myself. I know that the rtionship between you and

the Emperor Family was kind ofplicated." Answered Maximilian. He knew that Rowen didn''t want

to get himself messed with the Emperor Family, and thus chose to handle it himself as much as he

    could.

While, currently, he wants nothing but to leave W city and go back H city as soon as possible, and thus

chose to temporarily leave things about the Emperor Family behind.

Getting back to the hotel, Victoria and the rest of the group packed up their things and were going to

    leave by ne.

Afterwards, they sessfully got back to H city. As they arrived, Maximilian could feel that Flora was

hesitating to say something that was stuck in his throat. He then smiled, "Is there anything you want to

    tell me, Flora?"

Flora hesitated for a second and waved her hands, "No, nothing."

Maximilian was dumbed hearing the answer of Flora. However, he wasn''t angry since he knew that she

was just waiting for a perfect opportunity to sneakingly talk about it. Thus, he chose not to force out any

    answer from her.

As the others of Victoria were about to go back to their ce, Flora took Maximilian''s hand and said to

them, "I''m going to the supermarket to buy some sacks together with Maximilian."

After a while, they reached a ce where there was no one except their two. Maximilian then asked,

"Now, let''s hear what you previously wanted to talk about."

Flora looked around, confirmed that there were no others around and asked, "Maximilian, since you

already have the secret key in Dragon Sect, why don''t you just go and open the the treasure house in

Dragon Sect to check what''s inside?"

Hearing that she mentioned the secret key in Dragon Sect, Maximilian fell into silence.

Flora thought that she had sessfully swayed Maximilian, and continued, "If you make up your mind

and open it, thousands and millions of treasuries inside would be yours!"

"Sorry, but I''m not going to do that since I''m not interested in what''s inside. What''s more, I don''t have

the secret key in Dragon Sect." Maximilian answered inly.

Flora was dumb to hear so, and could hardly believe that Maximilian didn''t have the key.

"Really? You are not kidding me, aren''t you?" Flora asked astonishingly.

Maximilian nodded, "No, I''m not kidding. I don''t have the secret key in Dragon Sect, and if I had, I

would have open the treasure house in Dragon Sect myself."

Indeed, it was impossible for anyone to just keep the secret key in Dragon Sect as a collection and

leave the treasure house in Dragon Sect behind. Of course, Maximilian knew there were measurable

treasuries hiding inside of the treasure house in Dragon Sect, but he just didn''t care about either the

secret key in Dragon Sect nor those treasuries.

"OK, I understand. But do you know what''s inside of the treasure house in Dragon Sect?" Asked Flora,

while she soon covered her mouth with her hands in fear that such question would offend Maximilian.

Maximilian smiled, "Of course, I know, and I think that maybe in your imagination there are uncountable

treasuries inside and each of them is ultimately invaluable, am I right?"

Flora nodded her head without any hesitation and answered, "Yes, that''s exactly what I am thinking!

But what exactly are those treasuries?"

"Sadly, I have no idea about what exactly they are." Maximilian shrugged and continued the story about

the treasure house in Dragon Sect, "the treasure house in Dragon Sect has been existing for a long,

long time ago and has been passed from one generation to another in Dragon Sect. ording to those

stories told by the elders, there are millions of treasuries hidden inside. While sadly, it''s main gate is so

impregnable that nothing could ever break through it."

"Impregnable? Come on, it is just an old saying, and we are in a totally different era now! We could

definitely break through it with some kind of advanced technology." Flora said.

Maximilian then helplessly answered, "I would have tried if it was really possible. I''m just stating the

    truth."

With her face flushed, Flora looked down, gave a second thought and felt that maybe it was true.

Maximilian then continued, "To some extent, maybe you''re right: the main gate is possible to be

forcefully broken through with some advanced technology. While what''s inside may also be destroyed if

anyone really tries something like that."

"Then, do you know where the secret key in Dragon Sect is?"

    "No."
