Chapter 846 Bumping Into Each Other
“Needn’t you worry about it. Just tell me ‘Yes’ or ‘No’,” said Cassius coldly with a poker face which sent
an invisible stress to the people on the spot.
Although Skr Rogers''s brother Jackie Rogers was in a spin at that moment, he could do nothing but
answered the questions in fear of getting on Cassius’ nerves with a wrong answer.
“Then I’m after the right person,” continued Cassius. “It’s Boss Davies’ prestigious friend that your
younger brother has offended. Now you go over there and do what you should do. Am I understood?”

Jackie felt panic at what Cassius had said. He would have been so dead if Cassius hadn’t told him
about this. He was so grateful to Cassius, “Thank you so much for helping me out. I will do whatever I
can to repay you.”
“Cut it out. It doesn’t work for me. Now get lost,” said Cassius unhappily. He knew he had better let
sleeping dogs lie. He just needed to make sure it was tackled no matter how it was tackled.
Jackie hopped onto his Halley motorcycle and set out immediately without any subordinate. He didn’t
expect that even Cassius had shown much respect to Mr. Lee. He was more worried about himself
being implicated in it than losing his younger brother who might turned out to have offended Mr. Lee.
“You are so dead. My brother is going to beat you up in half in hour,” said Skr with a grin while
checking the time from time to time. He assumed that his brother would certainly arrive in no time
based on his personality.
Maximilian disdained to talk to Skr who was merely an idiot to him.
Jude said to Maximilian subconsciously, “Mr. Lee, no sweat! My people are standing by to fight against
anyone they will send.” It turned out that she had just texted her colleagues to take actions if anything
happened to Maximilian.
Maximilian was touched by her words and looked at her with much appreciation.
“Don’t worry! Remember my sorcery? Even if they’ve got thousands of people, I can still wipe them out
with my Voodoo Lily.” Grace Barnes also gave her support.
Maximilian smiled as he was really touched by these two women who would bring their A-game to
stand up for him.
With the familiar roaring sound of the Halley motorcycle, Skr knew it was his brother. He was so
excited and proud as if he had seen his brothering with hundreds of subordinates on their Halley
motorcycles.
Having got off his motorcycle, Jackie walked to the crowd and asked politely, “Excuse me! May I know
who is Mr. Lee?”
Maximilian said with a smile, “I’m the only here whose family name is Lee.”
“Hello, Mr. Lee. I know my younger brother might have offended you. I apologize to you on his behalf,”
said Jackie humbly.
Skr was so stunned at what his brother just did that he pulled him over and said, “Brother, what are
you doing? Why do you apologize to him. He’s nobody to take your apology.”
“Shut up. You’ve offended Mr. Lee.” Jackie gave him a p in the face to stop him from talking any
more. Jackie was hoping to tackle it in a smooth way but his younger brother made it more difficult.
“Brother, why?” asked Skr with his innocent and confused look while holding his face.
“Cut your crap.” Jackie was not in the mood to exin to his younger brother and stared at him angrily.
Then he turned to Maximilian with a smile, “Mr. Lee, please don’t take it to heart.”
Maximilian understood perfectly that Jackie cared about Skr a lot. Upon thinking, he decided to cut
them some ck because he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it either. Besides, what Skr had
just done could hardly harm him.
Although Skr waspletely confused, he had to shut up after being scolded by his brother who
wouldn’t have been so serious if it were no big deal.
“It’s okay,” said Maximilian lightly.
Jude was shocked too. As far as she knew, Boss Davies’ subordinates were all furious bad-asses. To
her surprise, Jackie didn’t square ounts with Maximilian after Skr got the short end of the stick.
Instead, he apologized to Maximilian. Suddenly she remembered what Maximilian had just said. She
wondered whether Maximilian really had a good rtionship with Cassius. She would have been more
surprised if she had known his rtion with Boss Davies.
Jackie left pulling Skr to the side until no one could see them. Skrined, “Brother, I was so
humiliated by what you did just now.”
“You were humiliated? How about me?” scorned Jackie.
Skr was really confused so he asked, “Brother, why did youe alone? And howe you treated
him, ay-folk so respectfully? I never saw you that way.”
“Keep it down. Don’t make yourself heard by Mr. Lee. Cassius reached out to me specially and told me
that even Boss Davies had to show respect to Mr. Lee. Now you tell me why.”
“No way!” Skr was astonished to hear that. At that time, he had a feeling that Maximilian was
acquainted with Cassius. It turned out that Maximilian was more than what he thought he was capable
of.
“If Cassius hadn’t asked me to mediate, both you and I would have been so doomed. Show him
respect next time you see him” said Jackie unhappily.
“Yes, brother!” Skr just realized how lucky he was to have dodged the bullet after he learned how
powerful Maximilian was. He didn’t even care about losing face just now. He might have lost his life if
he had kept tangling just now.
Maximilian waved goodbye to Jude for the time being. When he was about to take a taxi, he felt
someone was behind him. He turned around subconsciously and bumped into Grace. “Ouch!”
