Chapter 840 An Unexpected Oue
The movements of Maximilian were so fast that there was no time for Pearson to react. The situation
was totally turned upside down, and for Maximilian, he stood up and quickly put the chain around
Pearson''s neck as if a hunter was catching his prey.
Though Pearson had tried, he just couldn''t get out of the entangled chain around his neck no matter
how hard he tried. He yelled with pain, "Come and help me, you idiots!"
Those men of Pearson, having never seen their boss at such a disadvantage ever like such, rushed
hastily to Maximilian and tried to save their boss from his hands.
While Maximilian''s strength was totally out of what they had expected. Even with one of his hands
controlling the chain, Maximilian could still defend himself from the attack of these men and even fight
back easily with another.
Outside of the lounge, Jude was standing and worrying about the situation of Maximilian since she
could constantly hear crying and groaning inside. In her opinion, even though Maximilian seemed
indeed like a man with unique skills, it was still an overwhelming challenge for a talented man to match
against another four.
However, what happened in the following really stunned this young policewoman. At the moment when
she finally heard the door was unlocked and was going to confront with Pearson, she saw that the man
who casually walked out of the lounge was Maximilian rather than her vicious colleagues Pearson and
his men.
She looked inside, and unexpectedly found that Pearson was tied up on the chair, being tortured with
some sorts of weird punishments by one of his most trusted men. For Pearson, he was extremely
desperate and had never imagined he would be treated in this way.

Jude was stunned to see all this in front of her. She went up and asked Maximilian, "What exactly is
going on here?" She could hardly believe that Maximilian could go out of the room safe and sound after
confronting several professional and well trained men from government at the same time.
"Mercy, dear mister! I understood my bad now, and please forgive me!" Pearson cried out loudly and
constantly, regretting for his previous overconfidence and ignorance.
Without permission of Maximilian, those fellows dared not stop doing the things to Pearson until
Maximilian said stop.
"Miss. Jude, please help me! This guy is totally crazy!" Pearson turned to Jude and cried.
However, Jude did nothing but stare at him with cold eyes and said, "There is an old saying that you
sow the wind and reap the whirlwind, which means that you deserve this oue."
Pearson, suffering from extreme itching and pain, was crying like a baby. At this moment, a man was
quickening his pace on his way to the ce of Maximilian as he heard the crying of Pearson.
The man was Pearson''s father. As he stopped, he was stunned to see that his son was chained on the
chair and being tortured by his own men. For those men forced by Maximilian to punish Pearson, they
were in a dilemma whether they should continue or stop since Pearson''s father was here and ring at
them with rage.
Seeing his dear father was here, Pearson cried out, "Help me, dad! This guy is bullying me!"
Pearson''s father then turned to Maximilian, and shouted angrily, "How dare you do this to my son!"
Maximilian gave a in response, "Dear sir, it was your son who started it first, and I''m just doing
things to keep myself safe. And the thing is that…"
"Shut the fuck up! For me, I could only see that you''re assaulting my son, who is a police officer! Ready
to pay for that, bastard!" Shouted Pearson''s father.
In the meantime, Jude was disappointed to see that Pearson''s father was not about to hear any
exnation of Maximilian and judged that everything was Maximilian''s bad hastily.
"Mr. Pearson, I think you should hear this guy''s exnation first since everything happens for a
reason." Jude said.
"No need for that! I''m the absolute justice here, and this guy needs to pay for everything he has done!"

Maximilian then sent Chief Carr a message, sharing his location and telling him toe. Seeing the
message of Maximilian, Chief Carr felt strange to see Maximilian was at one of the branches of
government and decided to go and help him out immediately no matter what exactly happened to him.
As Maximilian sent the message to Chief Carr, Pearson''s father said coldly to Maximilian, "You''re
doomed. Given that you have assaulted the officer of government, I sentence you to ten years
imprisonment!"
