Adrian hung up the phone and took a shower before retiring to his room.

“Sir.” Adrian heard Skr’s voice as soon as he picked up the phone.

Adrian said, “Have you looked into the matter that I tasked you with?”
Skr said, “I sent someone to pay a visit to Northrive’s Hart family earlier to inquire about them.
You’re right, they had an heiress who married a Xander and moved to Southrive.
“That man is your grandfather, Harold Xander.”

“Sir, are you with me?” Skr’s voice was hearding from the other end of the line.
Adrian inhaled a deep breath.
Then, he said, “Noted. You don’t need to look into this matter anymore. Don’t visit the Harts either.”
Skr said, “Yes, sir. You should stay vignt, sir. I noticed that the Luposians on my side have been
behaving strangely as well. It’s possible that they will enter Southrive in a way that can’t be stopped.
*Lucas is currently in danger because the Luposians are aiming to kill him.”

once.

She could not hear the voice on the call but she heard Adrian mentioning Daniel’s name.
