They drove to the Cape Consortium. Wilbur and Skyler went in and headed straight to the elevator and up to Faye''s office.


    It was Skyler''s first tvisiting the ce, so he looked around curiously.


    The secretary hurriedly weed them into the office.


    Documents were piled up on her office desk as Faye was busy looking through them.


    She had noticed their arrival and immediately stood up. After that, the three of them sat on the sofa, with her secretary serving them drinks before exiting the office.


    "What the hell is going on?" asked Wilbur.


    Faye frowned and said, "There''s an issue with your one-hundred-million-dor donation."  "What happened?" he asked.


    She replied, "The one hundred million dors that was retrieved by Jose Smithson, you said to donate it in the nof Cape Consortium, right?"  "Yeah."  "I sent two guys to inspect the nearby mountainous areas. It was decided in the end that the money would be used to develop a modern primary school and a few high schools and fix the town roads. However, Xavi Joice calledup earlier. He said the money had been confiscated and they had all been beaten up."  "Really?" Wilbur could not believe it.


    She frowned and said, "I didn''t expect this either, which is why I''m informing you about it. How do you want to resolve this?"  "Do you know the reason?" he asked.


    She replied, "I only know the general situation. You have to meet Xavi and Bentley for the details."  Wilbur was silent for a moment before he said, "I''ll go there myself. | want to see who f*cking dared to take my money."  "I''ll be at ease if you decide to personally resolve this matter," she said with a smile.


    Wilbur stood up and said, "You should go about your business. You don''t need to worry about this matter. Givetheir contact information and I''ll head over there right now."  "Alright. However, you can''t drive up the mountain roads with your current car. Letget a suitable car for you," she said.


    Wilbur nodded, and Faye went to make arrangements right away. A luxury SUV was soon sent to them.


    Wilbur went downstairs, and Skyler quickly followed him. He fought to sit in the driver seat as he said, "Boss, I''ll drive."  "Why do you want to drive?" asked Wilbur.

    Twelven Town was a mountainous area located three hundred kilometers away from Seechertown. They slowed down after more than two hours of speeding down the road and entered the mountain roads that led to Twelven Town.


    The roads were bumpy and uneven. They were also very narrow. Most other cars would have had to stop due to being unable to pass through.


    Thankfully, they were driving an SUV with air suspension, so the bumps were not severe. Skyler stepped on the gas like he was out for an exhrating off-road trip.

    The four of them soon met up at a house in the town.

    They were puzzled for a moment when they saw Wilbur and Skyler. They asked, "Are you two from Cape Consortium as well?" "Yes. Miss Faye told us to handle this matter personally. Tebout what happened," said Wilbur straightforwardly.


    They looked at each other, and Xavi replied, "We had a deal with the local authorities to invest one hundred million dors without any returns to develop schools, build roads, and provide sbasic infrastructure. The local authorities also promised that as soon as the funds were in ce, they would start the work immediately. However, after we allocated the first fifty million, they brought in an excavator, dug a hole at our chosen site, and simply stopped there.
