"What?" Wilbur could hardly believe his ears. Who would dare to rob something so openly in this day and age?  "Who robbed it, and why?" Wilbur asked.


    Wace replied impatiently, "What point is there in telling you? | need to get hright now. My old man''s been hurt."  Wilbur thought to himself for a while. Anyone capable of opening a mine was definitely rich to sextent. How could they just get beaten up like that? There was definitely something else happening here.


    He said at once, "Letgo back with you. | might just be able to help."  "What could you possibly help with? Get off my ass, please." Wace turned to leave again.


    Yet Wilbur stopped him once again. "I''ll be honest, I''m in dire need of Goldmoon right now. Plus, your dad''s been hurt, and your family just got robbed. I''m pretty sure whoever did this was pretty powerful."  Wace stared at Wilbur in a daze, and Wilbur knew he had guessed correctly. "I''ll go with you! I''m a really good fighter. | can take on like ten people at once! Con, | might just be able to help you."  With no other choice, Wilbur could only boast a little.


    Wace blinked. Wilbur gritted his teeth and paid the shop owner for the Goldmoon before crushing it to pieces.


    The sight made Wace''s jaw practically hit the ground. He had honestly never seen anything quite like it.


    "Okay, let''s go. I''ll tell you on the way." Wace seemed to change his mind immediately.


    Wilbur cast onest wistful nce at the Goldmoon pieces on the floor. The only thing making this worth it was the possibility of over fifty tons of Goldmoon waiting for him.


    The three of them left Octocharm Town in Wace''s stretch limousine and sped off toward Taya City.


    Wace had two bodyguards who doubled as chauffeurs who took turns to take the wheel. Meanwhile, Wilbur and the rest sat in the back.


    The car was equipped with a coffee table, a fridge, and a wine cab. It was luxurious andfortable.


    Wilbur and Wace began to chat.


    It turned out that Wace''s family owned quite a few coal mines, and their assets were worth billions of dors.


    Wace spent his days drinking, gambling, and womanizing as he pleased.


    Just half a year ago, one of his family''s mines dug up the Goldmoon. Seeing as none of them knew what it was and had no use for it, they had dumped it in a corner of the mine.


    Wace''s father Chad Lester had given his son an earful for his childish ways and arranged for Wace to marry a girl Chad had picked out. That was, of course, Wendy.


    Wendy was quite the looker, and she was also well-read with high academic des. Wace had fallen for Wendy, and the two of them had gone on a trip across the country under Chad''s support. This was to grow Wace and Wendy''s rtionship, but also for Wace to stay away from the terrible influence he called friends.

    Wace was in Seechertown wandering around Octocharm Town when he bumped into Wilbur, and everything else happened there.


    Wace had only found out through the call that the Weiss n had found out about the ore the Lesters had dug up and reached out wanting to purchase it.


    The Weiss n was one of the oldest ns in Taya City, with a great deal of power. Wace''s father nned to just give the ore to them as a gift, hoping to befriend them, only for the Weiss n to not only take the ore but even ask for the mine the Lesters had dug up the ore from for an exceedingly low price.


    Of course, Wace''s father rejected the offer. The Weiss n ended up showing up with their men and taking the ore away by force, and even beat up Wace''s father. They gave the Lesters a month to hand the mine over, or there would be consequences.


    Wilbur nodded in understanding upon hearing this. The Weiss n was probably a family of cultivators with deep roots in Taya City just like the three main ns of Seechertown back then. The Lesters were rich, but this Weiss n was a force they could not afford to mess with.


    Wace gritted his teeth. "These people from the Weiss n are going too far. I''m going to get them."  "Dude, | think that''s going to be easier said than done. Let''s take a look when we arrive and have a talk with your father to see what we should do," Wilbur said.


    Wace said, "Tomorrow''s thest day of the grace period the Weiss n gave us. My father said he paid good money for two expert fighters and also this retired master from Taya City to carry out the negotiations tomorrow. We''re going to teach the Weiss n a lesson."
