    Edmundughed loudly upon hearing the words. "Felix is good with ounts, so I don''t mind sparing him. But Wilbur''s far too big of a threat, so he must die."


    "Let me head to the Chris family myself, Lord Edmund. I''ll get rid of Wilbur for you."


    "Good thinking, Conrad. Once you''ve seeded, I''ll raise your status in the Four Great Families."


    "Thank you, Lord Edmund."


    Conrad came out of the City Lord''s quarters and headed straight to the Chris family grounds. He was stopped by the guards at the gate at once. "Who are you?"


    Conrad smiled. "Tell Lord Felix that Conrad Albert is here for a visit."


    "Oh, it''s Lord Conrad. Give me a moment."


    The guards hurried inside to report to Felix, who frowned in the middle of collecting his storage rings. "Conrad? What is he doing here?"


    Just as the words rang through the air, Conrad''s voice could be heard behind Edmund. "I''m here to visit you, Lord Felix, and also check with you on behalf of Lord Edmund if anything''s happened heretely. I heard that you''ve been buying lots of storage rings. Did something happen in the Chris family?"


    "How dare you!"


    Felix got up in a rage. "Nothing has happened to the Chris family, Lord Conrad. I''m busy today and have no time to be ofpany to you. Pleasee back another time, or I''ll pay you a visit another day."


    Conrad reached out all of a sudden, grabbing Felix by the neck and lifting him off the ground.


    He red at Felix, his expression turning ashen. "Drop the act, Felix. Tell me where Wilbur is, or I''ll kill you this very second!"


    Felix glowered at Conrad. "I can''t believe you teamed up with Edmund to poison my Master''s drink!"


    "Ha! It''s Wilbur''s fault that Lord Edmund wants to get rid of him. He shouldn''t have threatened Lord Edmund''s position in the first ce."


    Upon saying the words, Conrad threw Felix heavily onto the ground before stepping on the side of his face. "Now, tell me where Wilbur is!"


    Felix gritted his teeth. "You shameless bastard. Come on, kill me if you must! I''ll never sell my master out!"


    "Who do you think you are to speak to me like that, huh?" Conrad glowered at Felix. "You would have never be the head of the Chris family if that internal conflict hadn''t happened! Fine! Since you won''t tell me where Wilbur is, I''ll kill you right now!"


    "Wait!"


    Just as Conrad was about to go in for the kill, Wilbur''s voice rang from inside the room. The door was pushed open, and Wilbur walked out as he looked up at Conrad. "It''s me you''re after, not Senior Horne. Let''s keep this duel fair, shall we?"
