    Since gold coins could be exchanged into grace points, he would be able to get fifty thousand grace points out of his battle. That would surely make him more powerful!


    Edmund got to his feet. "The battle officially starts now!"


    Conrad released a powerful energy aura. "How would you like to do this, Wilbur?"


    Wilbur released the same amount of energy aura as well. "The first to touch the other person in fifteen minutes wins?"


    "Sure."


    Conrad shot out towards Wilbur the next second, who darted out of the attack''s way. Following that, Conrad continued to attack Wilbur relentlessly.


    The two men chased after each other in the courtyard, neither of them letting up in the slightest. Just as everyone was focused on the battle, Edmund snuck a ck pill into a ss of wine. The pill turned clear as soon as it touched the liquid, vanishing out of sight.


    Edmund picked up the ss, swirling it in his hand before setting it down. He looked up to see that Wilbur was starting to gain speed, and Conrad was losing.


    After a little over ten seconds, Wilbur began chasing after Conrad. He caught up to Conrad a minute before the time was up, catching him by the sleeve.


    The two men stopped atst, and Wilbur smirked at Conrad. "You''ve lost."


    Conrad sighed, shrugging his shoulders. "You''re right, I did lose."


    Wilbur''s grin widened. "You''d lose even if we went another few more rounds." "Very well!"


    Edmund got to his feet then, looking nothing but excited. "Well done, Wilbur! You can sit down, Mister Conrad. Here''s your blessed drink from me, and the hundred thousand gold coins you were promised. Drink up!"


    "Thank you, Lord Edmund."


    Wilbur emptied the contents of the ss, picking up the dimension ring filled with money before sitting down next to Felix.


    Grote and Babbit went up against each other after that, followed by Babbit and Conrad battling each other. Babbit won both rounds and thus received two blessed drinks and two hundred thousand gold coins.


    Wilbur had wanted to challenge Grote, but Felix talked him out of it. Wilbur knew that he was not a family leader and was merely there as Felix''s guest.


    If Wilbur was to challenge Grote and win again, Felix would end up being challenged after that. If Felix lost, he would beughed at again.


    Thus, Wilbur could only sit there until the banquet was over.


    The two of them left the City Lord''s quarters in a carriage, and Felix turned to Wilbur. "Do you think there was something off about Lord Edmund today, Master?"
