Chapter 2770

Among those eight survivors, some stayed in the upper dimensions, while the others headed to the middle and lower dimensions. However, the universe was a vast expanse with endless dimensions.

Each dimension was a world of its own, and new cultivators were born in those worlds every day. Thus, it would be practically impossible to find those eight cultivators.

However, dimensional guardians were said to be able to go wherever they wanted with just a thought. That made killing the eight survivors much easier, yet that somehow never happened.

Locke felt like Wilbur had most likely gotten his hands on the dimension treasures belonging to one of the eight survivors, which meant that the original owner had likely passed on. Locke emptied the contents of his ss in one go, overwhelmed with emotion.

Wilbur had somehow been lucky enough to inherit one of the eight survivors'' dimension treasures. Locke had worked hard too, living humbly in Buck Town for two thousand years until he finally got a chance to leave.

Locke had thought that he would never return to Buck Town, only for fate to put him here once more.

However, Locke now had nothing to worry or panic about. Cultivating for a few thousand years had taught Locke how to adapt, and he knew that Wilbur was bound to show up eventually. Once that happened, all Locke had to do was help Wilbur and the others take Hadirt down and he would achieve his goal.

Locke had initially nned to get close to Wilbur over the course of a thousand years, but these special circumstances would get him there in just a few days. That, to Locke, was perfect.

At the same time, Edmund paced around in the City Lord''s quarters restlessly. The portal nearby shed, and George walked out. "Sorry for making you wait, Lord Edmund."

Edmund lit up at the sight of George, rushing over to him. "Please, Lord George. You have to help me this time."

"Please. If you get Buck Town through this disaster, I''d be willing to share control over the town with you."

"Oh, Lord Edmund. Things might not be as bad as you say they are, you know? Leave this to me, alright? Hadirt and I have a pretty good rtionship. I''ll go to meet with him, and he just might change his mind."

Edmund let out a long sigh. "That would be great. Thank you so much."

George came out of the City Lord''s quarters, quickly making his way to the Chris family grounds.

Hadirt was perched on the throne in the main hall, and George bowed to him slightly.

Hadirt nced at George coldly. "What are you doing here, George? This is not the ce for you to be."

"Lord Hadirt. Wilbur Penn is not without his faults, but the cultivators of Buck Town should not have to suffer as well. Please retract your threat of a massacre. Please don''t kill these innocent cultivators."

Hadirt sneered loudly. "Are you trying to teach me a lesson too, George?" "Sir..."

Hadirt red at George, who was instantly sent flying several meters backward before crashing heavily on the ground. Hadirt got off his throne, saying, "I might have considered sparing them if my brother was alive, George. But it''s been two days, and I know Dalton loves showing off. There''s no reason he wouldn''t be here. The only thing that could have happened... is that Wilbur Penn killed him."
