"Then why are you calling me your master again? Don''t you find thisughable at all, Senior Horne?"
"That''s a story that''s going to take more than just a few sentences." Felix took out a dagger, holding it to his neck. "If you don''t trust me, Master, I''ll take my life this very second."
"No, wait!"
Wilbur grabbed Felix''s wrist, touched by his sincerity. "Alright, Senior Horne, I know you had your reasons. I trust you."
"Do you really, Master?"
"Yes, but I hope you tell me what really happened after that day. As long as I''m your master, Senior Horne, I won''t let you go through this alone. If we work together, we might have a shot at getting out alive."
Tears streamed down Felix''s face as he nodded. "As long as you trust me, Master. I''ll suffer a thousand years if I have to!"
Following that, Felix told Wilbur everything that had happened. However, Felix himself did not know why Lord Edmund had brought Wilbur back to the Reyne family. It was possible that Edmund was afraid that Wilbur would find out what happened through Felix, and thus brought Wilbur back to the Reyne family.
There was no doubt that Babbit wanting to train Wilbur was just a cover-up for something more sinister, and Wilbur was bound to face his wrath eventually.
Felix said, "I really thought you would have been able to avoid this, but it still happened. Since things have turned out this way, why don''t you just stay here and cultivate? Babbit doesn''t know about your bronze mirror, Master. Every year he dys his n is a thousand years of cultivation for you. If he waits five years, you''ll have five thousand years of cultivation. Once you get that strong, you might just be able to hold your own in a battle against him..."
Wilbur nodded. "You''re right, I should make the most out of ending up here. Let''s cultivate in the mirror dimension together, Senior Horne. The energy aura in theke is brilliant. It''ll help us raise our cultivation quickly for sure."
"No, that won''t do. Edmund''s a careful man, you should cultivate alone. I''ll alert you when Edmund shows up, and you''ll just have toe up from the water to see him for a bit, then go back to the mirror dimension. That way, Edmund won''t find out about anything... and when he eventually attacks, we''ll have a better chance at winning."
Aftering to an agreement, Felix went to report to Babbit. He was sitting on his throne in the main hall as Felix came in. "So? How did it go?"
Felix bowed to Babbit. "Wilbur Penn has agreed to stay, Master. He is, however, still suspicious of your intentions."
"Oh, really now?"
"Yes. He says that you should just kill him if you want and not pretend to be nice. He''s willing to stay and cultivate in Azure Dragonke, but he''s not going to be grateful for it."
"Hahaha!" Babbitughed heartily.
