    Babbit said, "So you''re the one who told an outsider the secrets of the four major families. I''ll leave aside your transgressions for now. Tell me who this person is right now. How did you two manage to steal the energy from my Azure Dragon Lake?"


    Wilbur looked at Babbit and said bluntly, "We did not steal the energy from the Azure Dragon Lake. The energy from Azure Dragon Lake dispersed on its own and happened to flow into Great nt Lake. We merely benefited from it."


    Babbit said angrily, "Ha, yeah right! I don''t care who you are. You deserve to die because you stole energy from my Azure Dragon Lake. And you, Felix! You should''ve died long ago. I sent them to hunt you downst time, but you managed to survive. I won''t give you another chance to escape this time."


    Felix said with a pained expression, "Sir."


    Wilbur extended his hand to stop Felix. He said, "Senior Horne, it seems he has no intention of letting us go. In that case, there''s no need to waste our breath. We''ll just have to fight him."


    "What? Did you say you want to fight me?" Babbit snorted.


    Babbit threw his head back andughed as if he had heard a very amusing joke. He asked, "Do you realize who you''re talking to, boy? Don''t forget that I''m the head of the Reyne family, the foremost of the Eight Great Families. How dare you act so insolently! Take this!"


    Babbit suddenly attacked as he spoke, striking with his palm and sending the figure of a massive ck hand toward Wilbur. Wilbur quickly conjured a shield, but the shield was immediately shattered and the ck hand struck Wilbur square in the chest.


    "Urgh!"


    Wilbur spat out a mouthful of blood, then fell down and passed out on thekeside.


    Babbit said, "I''ll kill you right now!"


    Babbit wanted to attack again. However, Felix suddenly appeared in front of Wilbur. He went down on his knees and ced his head on the ground as he pleaded, "Sir, please spare him. He''s still young and inexperienced. I hope you can give him a chance. I''ll do anything you ask if you''re willing to let Wilbur go."


    There was a sh of cold glint in Babbit''s eyes as he said coldly, "You can barely protect yourself, Felix. Do you think I will spare you? You''re both going to die. Do you think begging will make a difference?"
