Dorrah waved his ss at Conrad. "Well, now that you''ve found the source of the leak, all you need to do is just block the stream off and the energy aura won''t leak anymore! Case closed."


    However, Conrad still looked worried. He was unsure if this would harm the Four Great Families if it went on, but this may be the only way to solve the situation at hand.


    After giving it some thought, Conrad asked, "Shawn, are there any cultivators near Mount Noss?"


    "About a dozen or so of them. They fetch water from theke every now and then, But I''ve killed all the cultivators within a ten-kilometer radius around Mount Noss, and the outside world hasn''t noticed."


    "Have you blocked off the underground stream?"


    "Yes, I had the servants do it."


    "Good job, Shawn. You may leave now."


    "Thank you, sir."


    After Shawn had left, Dorrah goaded Conrad into a few more sses of wine. Eventually, the four family heads got to their feet silently. Following that, Babbit, Grote, and Dorrah faded away.


    At the same time, Wilbur and Felix had sensed the energy aura in the mirror dimension rapidly weakening. They had spent eight hundred years cultivating there by then.


    Felix opened his eyes. "Master, the energy aura''s gone."


    "Yeah. I guess it''s disappeared," Wilbur responded.


    Felix frowned. "Are you saying that the Albert family noticed the loss of energy aura in the ck Tortoise Lake, and sealed off the underground stream leading to thiske?"


    "Yes, but I expected that to happen sooner orter. It''s up to us from here on out, Senior Horne."


    "What do you mean by that, Master? Are we going into Buck Town now, and taking the portal to Walker Town?"


    "No. The Eight Great Families have been around for ten thousand years, and we''ve barely cultivated for a thousand. We won''t be a match for them. However, I do think that we''d be able to hold our own walking around Buck Town. Since the energy aura here''s been blocked off, let''s go look around elsewhere. The ck Tortoise Lake is huge, I think there might be leaks in other ces."


    "We can take a look."


    The next day, Wilbur and Felix went on their way as soon as the sun was out. Felix took out a map, and the pair headed to the area near the ck Tortoise Lake to try and find unupied sources of water.


    However, they soon spotted soldiers patrolling the surroundings of theke. These soldiers were usually stationed much closer to theke. Their presence here meant that the Albert family knew about the leak of energy aura.
