    Shawn''s jaw dropped open as he trembled from head to toe, bowing repeatedly as he apologized. "I''m so sorry, sir. Please give me a bit of time, and I''ll be sure to find where the energy aura is flowing out of and block it off."


    "You have one day. Remember that on top of finding the leak, you''re also going to kill whoever benefited from it."


    "Yes, sir."


    Shawn left feeling terrified, and Conrad sat on the ground. He suddenly remembered what that dimensional guardian had said to him all those years ago. Was it possible that that particr elite had shown up?


    The four major forces of energy aura would not leak out easily unless that elite was here.


    And if it was indeed the case, he would need to be killed so that there would be one less threat for the dimensional guardians, and a big one too.


    Almost ten thousand years ago, two dimensional guardians from the upper- dimensions came to the middle dimensions. They found the four major energy sources and sealed them off. Following that, they created the Four Great Families and had them guard the energy sources.


    The Four Great Families, under the nourishment of the energy aura, improved their cultivation rapidly and eventually grew into the Eight Great Families. They were able to get whatever they wanted in Buck Town, which was even more than they could ever imagine.


    Conrad knew very well that those two dimensional guardians had yed a huge role in the power and sess of the Four Great Families today. The two dimensional guardians had only one request then-the families had to kill that elite when he arrived.


    If that was the case, Conrad would not let this person go even if it would cost him his life.
