"By the way, I found an even more secluded cave a few mountains behindst night. I think we should move there tomorrow for safety''s sake."


    "Alright."


    The following night, Wilbur and Felix crossed the mountains under the moonlight to the next cave.


    Throughout the next year, they would move locations every one to three months. At the end of the year, they had reached a snowy mountain several thousand kilometers away from Buck Town.


    There was ake under the snowy mountain that was filled with fish. Wilbur and Felix cultivated there and went fishing whenever they got hungry. Felix would always look surprised when he saw Wilbur sprinkle seasoning on the grilled fish.


    After eating the seasoned fish, Felix would give Wilbur a thumbs-up and look genuinely impressed. "That fish was amazing, Master."


    "Yeah? Have some more, then. We''ll get back to cultivating after you''re done eating."


    Felix nodded. "I''ll work hard on my cultivation, Master."


    Wilbur saw the look of joy on his face, and said, "There''s actually a question I''ve been meaning to ask you, Senior Horne. You''re much more powerful than me, and your energy aura''s much stronger as well. So why is it that you always retreat backward every time you see me as if you''re scared of me? Why are you scared of me, actually?"


    Felix shook his head. "I don''t know, either. My cultivation might be at a higher level than yours, but every time I look at you, there is just this special energy aura radiating off you that terrifies me. That''s why I don''t dare to get close."


    "I see." Wilbur looked down, smirking at the seal on the left side of his chest. Senior Kaiser had stored ten percent of his dark energy in Wilbur''s body, but it was of the purest kind.


    The evil gods had been able to face off against the dimension guardians relying on this dark energy, and dimension guardians were the elites of the upper dimensions. This made Wilbur think that despite only being able to borrow a tenth of this dark energy, it would still give him a chance against a Middle Guard here if a battle was to break out.


    Only twenty percent of the dark energy in the seal had been released. If Wilbur could raise that to fifty percent, he was certain that he would be able to hold his own against a Senior Guard.


    If all of the dark energy was activated, Wilbur was even willing to bet that he could take down the City Lord of Buck Town. After all, A City Lord was merely as powerful as a mid-rank upper dimension cultivator.


    After finishing the grilled fish and resting in the cave for an hour, Wilbur took his clothes off and hopped into theke to wash himself. He had not had a proper washing in the past year, and theke was a splendid opportunity for him to do so.


    Wilbur swam around in theke, and Felix joined him not long after. After chatting with Wilbur briefly, Felix dove into the water all of a sudden. He did not reappear for a while, and Wilbur was about to go looking for him. All of a sudden, Felix broke through the surface with a loud ssh looking rather excited. "Master, do you sense something different about the water in thiske?"


    "Oh? It feels the same to me."
