Wilbur took the cauldron fragment from Nightless Elder and let out a sigh. Nightless Elder raised his eyebrows, puzzled by the look of distress on Wilbur''s face. "Aren''t you here because of this ninth fragment of the ninth dragon cauldron? Shouldn''t you be happy to finally get it? Why the long face?"
Wilbur looked up at Nightless Elder. "Yes, I''ve worked really hard to get thisst cauldron fragment, and I am happy to finally get it... but the ninth dragon cauldron was the only one to be broken back then, while the other eight were in perfect shape. However, now all of the Nine Dragon Cauldrons have been shattered, and I don''t know if Senior Fremont will still want to see me. He might turn me down, and I may never learn about the secret of the dragon n."
Nightless Elder stared at Wilbur for a moment in silence before nodding. "I see. So, that''s what you''re worried about. Well, I might not be able to fix that for you, but I''m sure that fate is nothing short of a miracle. Things will fall into ce if fate has it that way, and you should at least give it a shot. Maybe Senior Fremont might want to see you after all.
Wilbur took a deep breath, then said, "Thank you, Nightless Elder. Goodbye."
He soared into the sky after that. The defense barrier around the ind disappeared on its own as Nightless Elder''s voice could be heard calling out to him, "Remember that chances don''te by easily, Wilbur! You have three months to finish what you need to do ande back here. If you miss your chance, you won''t get another one to enter the middle dimensions anymore."
"I understand, Nightless Elder."
Wilbur only took an hour to reach the coastline this time after having cultivated in the Eternal Sunshine Dimension for a hundred years.
He wandered around the streets and managed to find out that he was in a small nation that went by the name of Wagnito. This was Searton, the capital of Wagnito.
Wilbur was in no hurry to return to Dasha. He knew that Senior Fremont had been around the world, which meant that he might not be in Dasha for sure. Instead, Wilbur called Perry Woller of the ck Panthers to find out where Senior Fremont was.
As Wilbur''s phone was drained of battery and he was tired from having cultivated tirelessly in the Eternal Sunshine Dimension, he decided to find himself a hotel in the middle of the busy city of Searton.
Upon checking into a room and charging his phone, Wilbur took a nice, long shower and fell fast asleep.
He woke up the next afternoon to a fully charged phone, which he unplugged at once to dial Perry''s number.
"Hello, Wilbur. Have you found the ninth dragon cauldron fragment?"
"I sure have."
"Very well. The ninth dragon cauldron fragments areplete, so I can take you to see Senior Fremont."
"But..." Wilbur hesitated. Perry asked in confusion, "But what? Didn''t you want to know the secret of the dragon n this whole time? You''ve fulfilled your end of your deal with Senior Fremont, so you can see him now!"
Perry and Wilbur were considered pretty good friends, and Perry felt rather happy to hear that Wilbur had finally collected all nine pieces of thest Dragon Cauldron.
Yet Wilbur said, "I don''t know how else to say this, Perry, but the other eight dragon cauldrons are all broken too."
Wilbur then told Perry about how the Dark Messenger had shattered the other eight cauldrons, and Perry could hardly contain his shock as he eximed, "What? All eight of them? Are you serious? Dude, how am I going to help you this time?"
