"Listen to your Auntie Sue, won''t you? Get a bit more rest here for the next few days. You don''t need to be in a rush to leave Gemss Vige."
Wilbur smiled at her. "Thank you, Auntie Sue."
Warmth filled Wilbur''s chest. Who would have thought that the people of Gemss Vige had saved him twice? Just then, the Dark Lord''s voice rang in his mind, ''You''re grateful to them, aren''t you? Very well, I''m going to kill all of them and leave no survivors!''
"Dark Lord, can you just calm down?"
"Don''t you forget, Wilbur Penn. We''re two different people! You and Kaiser Fern ruined my ns to be an evil god! Do you think that an evil god would ever be willing to bow down to you? I want nothing more than to kill you, and then Kaiser! I''m going to make both of you pay eventually! Argh!"
The Dark Lord cried out in agony, and so did Wilbur as he looked down at the left side of his chest. Blood had stained the front of his shirt.
"I know, Dark Lord, but we''re in the same body. If either of us gets angry, our body gets affected and the wound from the seal will crack. We''d both be dead then."
"F*ck!"
The Dark Lord spat bitterly, "I''m going to kill you, Kaiser Fern!"
The excruciating pain was unbearable for Wilbur, causing him to lose consciousness once more after struggling for a few seconds.
It was raining heavily outside the next time Wilbur woke up. He looked out of the window, but all he could see was white.
Wilbur was about to get to his feet when a piercing pain shot through his chest. The seal had broken once more, causing blood to trickle out. Wilbur stared at the blood, puzzled. He was clearly unconscious earlier, so his body should have healed itself. Why had the wound opened up again?
What if...
Wilbur thought of the Dark Lord all of a sudden and scrambled to throw the covers off his body before rushing out into the rain. Sure enough, the vige was lined with dead bodies. All of Gemss Vige had been massacred.
Wilbur howled with fury, his expression twisted into one of pain and resentment as he stood in the pouring rain. "This was you, it had to be you! Why did you have to do that? Why?" Wilbur roared.
"All of them deserved to die!" the Dark Lord shouted in his mind.
"Argh!"
Wilbur broke out into a sprint as he shouted, running out of Gemss Vige. It was unclear how long he ran until he eventually copsed by a river.
The sun was shining down on Wilbur''s face the next time he woke up, his body warm. The skies had cleared, and Wilbur struggled to push himself upright. He rubbed the left side of his chest and looked down, noticing that the wound was slowly scabbing.
It was clear that Senior Kaiser''s seal did a pretty decent job at holding the Dark Lord down. The thought made Wilbur sneer as he spat, "An evil god will always be an evil god! As if there could be anything good about him. Why would a good person do this to someone else?"
Wilbur walked over to the river, cupping some water in his hands and taking two big gulps. After cleaning himself up, he headed towards the mountain in the distance.
Wilbur could hear quite the ruckus from afar, even before he had reached the foot of the mountain. There were people ying their instruments, and some were even setting off fireworks as if in preparation for some sort of ritual.
