The ball of ck liquid exploded as Adam cried out in agony. ck miasma rose into the air before promptly disappearing, and pure, clean water rained down on the town.


    The golden dragon flew above the town, letting out a roar. Its powerful dragon aura filled the air as the townsfolk forged out of ck miasma and disappeared out of sight.


    Peace was restored in Bruille Town again.


    Wilbur, whose body had been drained of spirit energy, fell from mid-air onto the center of the town square. He promptly passed out, only waking up two dayster.


    Despite the fact that Wilbur could activate the eighth level of the Dragon Move through cultivation, the Dragon Move itself was a very demanding cultivation method where the higher the level activated, the more spirit energy it would drain out of the cultivator.


    Even though he had cultivated up to the Dragon''s Wrath, Wilbur could only activate half of the fire dragon''s power. Even then, doing so had drained his bodypletely of spirit energy.


    Had it not been for the added support of the Light Helmet, Wilbur would have at least been unconscious for half a month. He had sworn to himself that he would never use the Dragon Move unless he absolutely had to and heaved a sigh of relief upon having finally gotten rid of Adam.


    Wilbur sat cross-legged in the square as he meditated, his mind racing. If Adam had shown up on the eighth level, it had to be his mother, the Tree of Darkness on the ninth.


    The Tree of Darkness was the mother of the dark aura on Earth, which was now more powerful than the light aura that was there. That would mean the Tree of Darkness had grown more powerful, especially considering the fact that the energy aura in the magical tower was a thousand times what it was outside.


    Wilbur would be no match for Adam had he not mastered the Dragon Spell or Dragon Move. Going up against Adam alone had nearly pushed him to the end of his wits, and Wilbur would be dead for sure if he entered the ninth level now without doing further training.


    Wilbur knew that he could not just move forward blindly now. He had cultivated for forty-five years throughout the past few levels, so he nned to cultivate on the eighth level of the magical tower for twenty-nine years, leaving one full year for the ninth level.


    This already stretched his time limit to the maximum, and Wilbur would be able to return to Earth if he seeded. As long as he tried his best, he would have a shot at defeating the Dark Lord and saving Earth.


    If he were to fail... Well, saving Earth would go up in smoke, and Wilbur would be able to do nothing about it.


    Wilbur had spent half a month resting and healing his body before he began to cultivate the Dragon Spell and the Dragon Move. If he could improve both of those cultivation methods in the next twenty-nine years, he would definitely advance to a whole new level and grow even more powerful!


    At the same time, the Dark Messenger stood on a cliff overlooking the ind and the sea. Over on the other side of the world in Cametra, the Dark Lord sat on his throne in the Light Valley Pce as he said coldly, "Don''t bother waiting. This time, I''ll be able to finish my n even without borrowing Wilbur''s powers."


    The Dark Lord''s voice was sent into the Dark Messenger''s mind, who responded, "What are your intentions, Master?"


    "The ancient formation is going to beplete soon. I want you back here immediately to help me activate it and release the dark energy within it. I shall use this energy to solidify my position on Earth."


    "Yes, Master."


    Half an hourter, the Dark Messenger left the ind on a ship with Holt in tow.


    The Dark Lord''s n had already started ten years ago. He had hoped to form a connection with the evil gods through their puppets and acquire the seeds of evil sorcery to gain the support of the evil gods.


    If two, or even one of the eight evil gods had been willing to be on the Dark Lord''s side, he would have been able to activate the ancient formation and release its dark energy for him to absorb so that he could be the evil god of Earth.


    Once that happened, all of Earth would be swallowed up. Earth would no longer be able to appear in the universe as a lower dimension, instead drifting into the chaotic realm outside of the universe as a chamber under the control of the evil god, the Dark Lord.


    Because Light and Dark dimensions existed as different dimensions at the same time, the universe and the chaos array would also exist in parallel. If something of significance happened in one of the dimensions, something rting to it would also happen in the other.
