Wilbur gave it another try, focusing on an image of a Thunder-type Healing Pill. Sure enough, it appeared in the form of a mere illusory image as well and could not be consumed.
It seemed like only the images of his thoughts would show up here, and not the real thing. It was the same with the Dark Messenger. While that attack had definitely hurt, it was not that bad.
Wilbur spent all afternoon walking around the deserts before an idea finally hit him. He would use the special energy in the mirage to cultivate and improve his skills endlessly since that was the only way he would get more powerful.
After all, it seemed like there was nothing really special or precious here aside from making his thoughts appear visually. The truth, however, was that memories were the most important part of a person.
Human beings were prone to reminisce on the past, be it in wistfulness, remorse, joy, or resentment. Through it all, memories would only remain as memories, and they would never happen in real life again.
However, anything Wilbur thought hard enough about in here would appear in front of him. Everyone learned from their past experiences and memories, which made them better and stronger people.
Wilbur caught onto the special feature of this ce and was overjoyed by his realization. In the next second, Wilbur''s thoughts shifted his surroundings to Kook Ind once more.
The Dark Messenger was there again, charging at Wilbur the very moment he appeared. Wilbur dodged left and right, activating his Dragon Move and then using Aura Return.
This time, the Dark Messenger actually predicted Wilbur''s moves. When Wilbur appeared behind the Dark Messenger using Aura Return, he whipped around and stabbed his sword at Wilbur.
Wilbur darted out of the way and avoided the Dark Messenger''s attack. He cast the Light of Dragon once more and reduced the Dark Messenger to dust.
Doing this drained Wilbur of his spirit energy, and he crashed heavily onto the ground before passing out.
After returning to his senses, Wilbur meditated for a hundred days. Under the nourishment of the concentrated dragon aura, Wilbur''s powers improved rapidly. He managed to improve his Dragon Move to the eighth level and was able to use Dragon''s Wrath.
Wilbur had actually been able to use Dragon''s Wrath after just two months of cultivating. He spent the following month improving his cultivation in an attempt to get to the ninth level. However, he found that his dragon aura refused to condense no matter how hard he tried.
Wilbur had no choice but to give up. He promptly began to challenge each major enemy he had battled throughout his life, analyzing every opponent''s weakness anding up with a more powerful attack to defeat them.
Within a year, Wilbur could easily defeat all his past enemies, including the second clone of the Dark Lord. The year of cultivation had improved his powers significantly.
However, as Wilbur was starting to feel like he had understood the meaning of the mirage world, the dragon aura in the air dropped to just ten times that on Earth while the gravity in the mirage increased to fifty times.
Two yearster, the density of the dragon aura had dropped to a tenth of what it was on Earth and the gravity in the mirage had further doubled to a hundred times.
Wilbur stayed in the mirage for three full years and was finally able to defeat the Dark Messenger with the concentration of dragon aura in the air only being a tenth of what was on Earth.
