Unfortunately, the Dark Messenger was unsessful with his n. It was as if the Child of Light had anticipated that this would happen, thus setting up a special dimensional portal in the formation.
Wilbur looked up at the strange golden line in the sky, feeling rather confused. If the golden line was connected to the portal leading to a middle dimension, the Dark Messenger would have been ecstatic. After all, he had always wanted to return to the Light World.
The Dark Lord and the Child of Light would have the ability to face each other off in the Light World. His reaction could only mean that this dimensional portal probably led to an even higher middle dimension, one which could hold the Dark Lord down.
Wilbur did not know much about what happened between the Dark Lord and the Child of Light. He snapped out of his stupor and began thinking about what was toe next.
Kortlin had said that the formation could onlyst three days. Wilbur could spend those three days on Kook Ind, but what would he do when the formation disappears, and the Dark Messengeres back for him?
Wilbur was deep in thought when a cloud of dark energy appeared in front of him. It took shape and pounced on Wilbur. Wilbur swiped at the air with his right hand, and the dark energy was converted into the power of light before entering Wilbur''s body.
Wilbur looked at the series of figures taking shape on the ind and let out a sigh. It looked like there was nothing he could do now but umte his power of light for the final battle against the Dark Lord.
Hang on!
Wilbur suddenly thought of something after getting rid of a dozen or so figures. The puppets of the Blood God and the God of Destruction had left behind the Bloodism Bow and the ck Sword after Wilbur took them down. Since Aisha was the puppet of the ck snake, Bahamut, she would probably leave something behind after Wilbur had killed her as well.
That object was probably the key to how evil gods channeled their sorcery into their human puppets, and Wilbur must have missed it during the flurry just now.
Wilbur looked at the ground upon realization hit him. After looking around for a while, he finally spotted a snake''s fang that was still radiating dark energy.
The snake''s fang was the size of a dagger. It contained a huge amount of energy, and Wilbur was certain that was how Bahamut was able to remain connected with his puppets.
Wilbur entered his demine excitedly, and an ancient voice rang through the air at once. "Oh? Is that Bahamut, that worm of a man? Why is it that I can sense his aura, and so strongly as well?"
Bahamut?
Wilbur was all the more ecstatic. "O'' Mighty Dragon God, do you know Bahamut?" "Indeed, I do. He was merely a worm to me back in the day. I can''t believe he''s grown this powerful. I''m rather curious as to where you found that fang."
The Dragon God hardly spoke in his previous encounters, and Wilbur happened to be interested in learning about Bahamut. The two immediately began chatting, and Wilbur told the Dragon God about Bahamut bing an evil god.
Wilbur had thought that the Dragon God would be shocked by the news. After all, evil gods were supposed to be more powerful than cultivators. Yet the Dragon God sounded nothing but calm when he said, "I knew Bahamut was a good-for- nothing. I guess I wasn''t wrong."
"Honorable Dragon God, may I contribute this fang?"
"Go ahead. This strange energy is exactly what I was looking for."
Wilbur tossed the snake''s fang into the Dragon''s Altar at once, his eyes shining as he waited for his reward.
