Either way, Wilbur felt like he could take advantage of his special identity now to find out more about Light Valley and the Church of Holy Illuminati before things went south in his rtionship with them.
Through chatting with the man in the suit, Wilbur found out that his name was Shaun, and he was a Norse messenger of the Church of Holy Illuminati.
Following that, Shaun drove Wilbur to a manor outside of Wendis. The two of them entered the manor, and Shaun led Wilbur to the basement of the mansion where there were two ck Bishops from the Church of Holy Illuminati.
"Mister Penn, this is Aisha and Symon. They''re both ck Bishops."
Wilbur smiled, extending his hand. "It''s a pleasure to work with the both of you."
Symon and Aisha exchanged nces before smiling at Wilbur, then shook Wilbur''s hand one after the other. Symon''s handshake was firm and strong as he said, "I''m delighted to work with you, Mister Penn."
Aisha smiled and said, "I''m honored to be working with you too, Mister Penn. I think our church had a misunderstanding of sorts toward you, but I hope that all of that will be water under the bridge starting from now. Let''s be open and sincere with each other and help each other out."
Wilbur nodded with a smile of his own. "Of course, of course. The truth is, I''ve actually wanted to do away with that misunderstanding for a long time now but never had the chance. I think this is a great opportunity, seeing as the two of you are willing to work with me."
Despite saying the words, Wilbur knew that all three of these people did not actually care to dissolve their conflicts. The Church of Holy Illuminati may seem like it had pure intentions like Light Valley, but both groups were actually just as devious.
However, this did not affect Wilbur''s partnership with the two ck Bishops. Wilbur was indeed interested in the Light Armor and also wanted to know why Light Valley was so hellbent on having him find it.
Of course, Wilbur could not just ask the question outright. Thus, he could only make guesses and deductions through his observations. Maybe the Child of Light had not just left behind the Light Armor, and there was another inheritance of sorts. That might be what Light Valley was truly after, and they were just using Wilbur''s name to obtain theplete Light Armor.
After chatting briefly, Shaun took out a map. "Two weeks ago, we received information stating that the Light Helmet was somewhere in the Kook Inds, Burd Bay. There''s probably a domain there, and we''ll have to enter it to find the helmet."
Symon said, "I''ve been to the Kook Inds before. It''s been said that there''s a forcefield of sorts around it, and many ships have gone missing when they got close. They might be able to get out in roughly half a month if they''re lucky or end up dead if luck isn''t on their side. I thought that it was just some supernatural urrence, but it turned out to be a formation. I wanted to check out the ce on my own, but I was caught up in other things and only have the time now. With the three of us going in there together, I''m sure we''ll be able to break the formation in no time and get the Light Helmet."
Aisha smiled. "I wouldn''t be too confident if I were you, Symon. From what I know, the formation wasid by the Child of Light. It''s almost as powerful as a formation from a middle dimension, so it''s going to be really challenging."
Shaun turned to Wilbur then. "Do you have any suggestions for our n, Mister Penn?"
"No, I don''t," said Wilbur calmly. "I just want to know when we''re heading out."
Shaun was about to speak, but Symon piped up first. "Three days. My Light Giant is almostplete, and it can help clear a path for us when we head out. It would save us a lot of trouble."
Aisha shrugged. "Fine by me."
Shaun nodded. "Alright, then. We''ll head to the Kook Inds in three days. The three of you will stay in this manor until then, and I''ll send a ship over to bring everyone to the ind."
