Wilbur had cultivated the Dragon Move to the fifth level, where he could cast the Dragon''s Howl. The golden dragon that was formed out of the spell wouldst five seconds and wouldst six seconds if he were to increase it to the sixth level.
After contemting through the night, Wilbur decided to stay in his room and cultivate for a month so he could raise his Dragon Move to the sixth level: Dragon''s Shadow.
In the past, Wilbur would never have been able to do so even if he was given a year, let alone a month. However, his powers had been leveled up rather significantly thanks to the hundred and fifty years of cultivation he obtained from the Dragon Spirit Essence.
Raising his Dragon Move from the fifth to sixth level would definitely be quite the feat for Wilbur, but it was not impossible.
Wilbur began meditating in solitude during the day, channeling his dragon aura to flow through his body, and by night, his body emitted a pale golden glow. This cycle went on for half a month. On the sixteenth day, the blood-red dragon head imprint on his back lit up.
A peculiar pressure seemed to take over the dragon aura in Wilbur''s body as sweat beaded on his forehead. After thirty days of cultivation, the bones in Wilbur''s body had been raised to another level.
Wilbur slowly opened his eyes, then raised his left hand, and it instantly emitted a golden glow. Within just a second, a golden energy ball had appeared in his palm. A tiny golden dragon soared around inside the ball, letting out a series of howls.
Wilbur smiled at the sight. He finally seeded in improving his Dragon move from the fifth to the sixth level after a month. He was now more powerful from the dragon aura flowing through his bones, and the golden energy ball was forged out of that same dragon aura.
This was the first time Wilbur actually understood how precious the Dragon Move was. Regr cultivation could only improve his dragon aura but would damage his body. However, the Dragon Move was the exact opposite. It started with the cultivator''s bones, improving them alongside their cultivation.
That way, Wilbur''s bones were sure to be mind-blowingly powerful once he reached the ninth level of the Dragon Move. Regr cultivation methods only improved the strength of a tenth of one''s bones, while the Dragon Move could improve the strength of the entirety of one''s bones. The effects were simply iparable.
Dragon aura flowed through Wilbur''s bones, and he could clearly sense them being nourished. Wilbur''s body had improved significantly in the past month.
If he was not in a rush to collect all nine fragments of the ninth dragon cauldron to meet with Senior Fremont and find out the secret of the dragon n, Wilbur would have cultivated for a whole year to focus on raising his Dragon Move to the ninth level.
After a short rest, Wilbur headed into the bathroom for a shower. It was one o''clock in the afternoon by the time he emerged from the hotel, and the sun was beating down relentlessly.
The beach was filled with people due to the fact that it was a holiday, and Wilbur saw at least ten photographers fiddling with their cameras.
During lunch back at the hotel, Wilbur overheard someone mentioning that it had been almost forty days since thest mirage had been spotted, which was unheard of, thus everyone was predicting that it would appear within the next day or two.
On top of that, the weather report suggested that a mirage was actually most likely to appear this afternoon. Hence, many people wanted to witness this peculiar sight for themselves.
Cultivators had a rule set in ce where they were not to mess with the world of mortals, so Wilbur did not n to try entering the mirage in front of all the other beach-goers here.
He came to dock fifty-two, which waspletely empty. It seemed to have been abandoned for a pretty long time, and the cracks in the wood were a good enough indicator of that. Despite the dock not being the best ce to spot the mirage, it was a spot that overlooked the most mirage sightings in Wendis if they were to appear.
Wilbur would be able to give it a try then and see if his dragon aura could match up with the mirage.
If he seeded, he would be able to enter the special dimension of the mirage. Wilbur sat at the dock, waiting silently. Within just half an hour, footsteps could be hearding from behind him.
