    Wilbur smiled at the old man in appreciation. Despite hearing the clear answer, he still refused to believe it and asked the townsfolk another few streets down.


    Sure enough, the old man was right. It was impossible for any road in Wendis to be built facing the sea. However, that was what Wilbur had seen through the fourth dragon cauldron fragment.


    Could he have remembered the wrong thing?


    He was certain about the location being Wendis for sure. Was it possible that he had made a mistake and the roads in the cauldron fragment had not been facing the sea?


    Wilbur returned to the hotel and entered the fourth dragon cauldron fragment with his spirit sense. However, he had already done this once before and the message left on the fragment had disappeared for good after being read once.


    There was no way he would be able to re-read that message now.


    At the same time, the image in Wilbur''s head grew clearer and clearer. He was certain that the roads he had seen were facing the sea!


    Wilburforted himself internally. Maybe Senior Fremont put the cauldron fragment here a hundred years ago, so no one was even around to see the roads back then.

    In the library, Wilbur read up on the history of Wendis in the past few years through records that even included hand-drawn sketches of the town''s old map.


    The map was marked with street names, but Wilbur soon realized that none of the streets faced the sea even in thest hundred years. That meant that no roads here should be built facing the sea, and that was supposed to bemon knowledge, which meant that there was no road in Wendis that actually led to the


    sea.


    Wilbur frowned at the thought. If that was the case, where could the fifth dragon cauldron fragment be hidden?


    The hints from the fragments would never be wrong, which meant that Wendis definitely had a road facing the sea.


    Just as Wilbur was riddled with confusion, a gust of wind blew in from the windows and flipped through the pages of the library. They let out a series of swishing sounds before stopping on a record of a mirage.
