    Wilbur took a sharp breath. Although the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense operated decisively, their targets were typically non-humans or those who had lost their human traits. The department has a history of beingpassionate toward humans, having initiated numerous rescue operations in

    Beverly''s voice came through the phone, her tone serious. "Deacon Penn, you must carry out this mission. Johnson has wantonly ughtered innocents, forfeiting any right to be considered human. Such individuals do not deserve to live."


    "I understand. Rest assured, I''ll head there immediately."


    After ending the call, Wilbur moved to a secluded area. Ensuring he was alone, he entered the demine and picked up the ck sword lying on the ground. This was the sword left by Svenberg from the night before, which Wilbur hadter stored in his demine.
