Chapter 2322

Johnson made a shing gesture with one hand, which Huck chuckled at. Johnson had been working for Huck for five years now. After Huck saved Johnson''s life, Johnson vowed to remain loyal to him for the rest of his life.

It could be said that Johnson was Huck''s right-hand man. Huck said, "Remember not to expose yourself, and don''t do anything before you know what''s going on for sure."

    "Of course, Mister Huck."

Johnson turned and disappeared into the night as well, and Huck''s gaze fell on the three members of the Scorpion Killers next to him.

"Riley, Tom, Marshall? What do you guys think?"

Riley shrugged. "It''s your call, Mister Huck."

Tom said, "I''ve never fully trusted Mike and Henry. If you want them gone, Mister Huck, now''s your chance."

Marshall chimed in, "Besides, we get more money with fewer people to split it with."

Everyone exchanged knowing nces and smirked at each other. Throughout the past six months, Henry and Mike had not been fully loyal to the Scorpion Killers. Huck had wanted to give them another chance to fully acknowledge them as members of the Scorpion Killers if they performed well enough in the next six months.

Now, however, they had a job with an extremely high sry on their hands, and Huck did not think Henry and Mike were of any use anymore. They could train new members anytime, but there might not be such a huge gig in the future. Human beings, at the end of the day, are prone to betrayal over money.

Huck knew that if he did not make a decision beforehand, there would only be one consequence that everyone else would be forced to ept if Henry and Mike betrayed them.

That was a result Huck did not want, thus they decided that regardless of how this night went, Henry and Mike were to be killed on the way back.

Henry slipped into Diseya and entered Bangsai. He watched from afar as Wilbur continued to circle around the vige square and sniggered to himself. "Truly a fanatic. Well, you''ve just got your own bad luck to me this time."

Henry knew well enough that there was a limit to a mortal''s physical energy. Wilbur had survived being chased down by Devon and the others in the desert, but his mental health had spiraled as a result, which was why he was walking around the square over and over again.

Of course, what mattered most to Henry was killing Wilbur. Henry raised his pistol and aimed it at Wilbur, who had just sensed Henry and Mike''s presence with his dragon aura.

Henry fired the next second, but he had put a silencer on his pistol and thus there was hardly any sound from the shot. To Henry''s disbelief, the bullet sprang backward and struck him in the forehead.

Henry widened his eyes, copsing backward. Mike had been hiding behind Henry and watched him fire the shot, but Wilbur had not been shot. Instead, Henry was the one getting shot!

Mike''s jaw dropped open and looked around frantically. There were no tall buildings around, and thus there was no way any snipers could be hiding nearby. Realization struck Mike then-Wilbur was a cultivator!

Wilbur had controlled the air around him to send Henry''s bullet back at himself, killing him. Knowing this, there was no way Mike would dare to try anything with Wilbur.

Mike turned to run for his life, but it was not long before Johnson appeared holding a gun pointed at him. "Trying to im the prize for yourself, Mike?"

"No, Johnson! Listen, it''s not what you think it is! Wilbur Penn is a cultivator, he—"

Yet Johnson did not let Mike finish, shooting him in the chest with a smirk. Johnson had seen the bullet spring backward just now and knew Wilbur was a cultivator too. However, Johnson was going to retrieve what belonged to him even if he failed to kill Wilbur.
